I'm on the side of those who didn't like the John Lewis ad. It didn't feel clear enough for an ad. Is this the first time his son has bought him something? is the ad for a record player?

They need to be more real with the ads as a parent Christmas is exhausting and expensive and you are always disappointed

Same here! My favourite one was with the kid counting down the days until Christmas, and the twist is it’s because he’s so excited to give his mum and dad their present 🥹 Quite a few years ago now but very cute!
Also, is my boy Tom about to give us an upset here!?
