I”m 10 minutes behind but Paul obviously has a major problem with Tom.
The nails comment earlier (which tbh would have been more suited to Aaron) and the nastiness directed at Tom about his showstopper. I think even the other contestants were shocked. It looked like there was a bit of an atmosphere in the tent after that.
Paul you are an arrogant twat and I'm being polite. Small man syndrome.

That sloth by Aaron was absolutely horrendous, it was laugh out loud bad! Why did Paul and Prue barely mention how bad it looked, while shitting so much on Tom?
I thought Toby had done enough to make it through. Weird choice!

Unnecessary. You can criticise her baking and the judges treatment of her without coming for her appearance. It’s not her fault that a) she has alopecia and b) Paul seems to want to stick it in anything female and under 35.

I’ve been trying to bake along but I hate pastry so last week was a flop. No clue what to do for meringue week other than an Elton Mess. Knowing my luck it’ll be bloody patisserie week next 🫠

Absolutely not fair, it must have been devastating for her to lose all her hair when so young but she’s obviously got a can-do attitude and deals with it so well, actually I don’t even notice any more that she hasn’t got any hair, I expect that’s how she would like to be considered.

Jasmine is the most solid, consistent baker I’ve ever seen on the show, it really is hers to lose!
I do really like Toby too though, can’t help but root for the underdog. Can’t take to Aaron at all, he may just be getting a bad edit but it looks like his attitude is awful. Posh Tom is fairly inoffensive but no strong feelings either way.

I can't believe Jasmine is this good while also training to be a doctor which is known to be one of the most draining things you can do! I really think she deserves it, but I 100% agree, Toby is very likeable, Tom seems fine and sometimes very good but sometimes quite irritating. Aaron I can't forgive for how many good bakers left when he should have been the one to leave.

Jasmine also always makes beautiful things that actually sound delicious - no faffing about with weird flavours that I can't picture the taste of. It's nice to see that on bake off as I think it fits the feeling of the show. I always feel this is reflected in what the average person snacks on during the show! We're watching it eating apple crumble or Jaffa cakes or chocolate digestives, not miso and cardamom rose water muffins!

I’m gobsmacked about that criticism of Tom.. what the fuck i would say that beehive is on a par with the bread lion for most impressive looking bake ever?! And he slated him for it..? Horrible!!

Really don’t know who will leave, could be any of the boys.

Also i love jasmine but in past series of bake off her showstopper would have been slated for being simple, plain, boring, lacking ambition. Crazy that she didn’t get pulled up on that compared with everyone else.

I thought Paul was unnecessarily harsh to Tom and the fingernails comment was also a bit ear the mark.

I have no idea why Toby went. It should have been Aaron or Tom and probably Aaron for that embarrassment of a sloth. Paul had no problem with feedback to Tom but couldn't bring himself to say that sloth looked like something a primary school kid could have made.

I was really annoyed with Paul last night. Has he told Jasmin that her overuse of pistachio is unexceptable and shows lack of imagination with flavours? No.

Jasmin will win but will be the most boring baker for years.

I LOVED James the doctor in John Waite's year. He was the spitting image of my boyfriend at the time (who sadly passed away) and whenver I see a clip I get a bit emosh as my then boyfriend was the loveliest man imaginable and is so very missed.

I don't think I've ever watched a series of Bake Off before where the winner was picked before the final. I know I'm not Jasmine's biggest fan and haven't been for the whole series, but I was always under the impression that the winner was picked based on their performance in the final alone. If that was the case, Tom should have won, as annoyed as I was with him even being in it! He did the best in the technical and I would say his showstopper got the best feedback. So I don't understand how Jasmine actually won based on her performance in the final .

This year has probably been my least favourite series and I can tell because it hasn't inspired me to bake at all.
