I thought Tom had done it until I heard Paul say their showstoppers were on par and knew that was it. Don’t think Pru agreed about that one, she went crazy over Tom’s .. hey ho, always enjoy the catch-ups at the end.

Well, not shocked at the winner. Bit of a dull season overall

I loved the advert with the little boy counting down to Christmas so he could give his parents a present.
There was a cute one with a bear that was going to hibernate and his rabbit friend bought him an alarm clock so he didn’t miss Christmas Day.
I liked the one with a penguin too.
Second this he thinks his better than the show
Interesting how Jasmine’s flavours are “delicate” but Aaron “needs a hero flavour” because it’s not strong enough. I thought J always played it safe and was quite dull - that usually annoys Paul but he clearly loved her. Thought Tom had it in the bag after doing so well in 2/3 final challenges. Imagine losing the final technical but winning the series 
I don't think I've ever watched a series of Bake Off before where the winner was picked before the final. I know I'm not Jasmine's biggest fan and haven't been for the whole series, but I was always under the impression that the winner was picked based on their performance in the final alone. If that was the case, Tom should have won, as annoyed as I was with him even being in it! He did the best in the technical and I would say his showstopper got the best feedback. So I don't understand how Jasmine actually won based on her performance in the final

Think I’m done with watching it in future. This series was so dull…
Recorded the final, looked boring so I f/fw to the end to see the least surprisingly winner ever.
Never found a series this dull before.
I forgot it was on so I’ve been over an hour behind. That pretty much sums up the series for me - no longer must watch tv.
I think Aaron must have had a bad edit because he never looked happy when others got good feedback but he seemed genuinely happy for Jasmine when she one. I hated his blouse/shirt though!

The updates seemed to be lifted from instagram; I’d seen most before.
It does feel like it needs something to spice it up a bit. Perhaps adding more bakers at the start and booting 2 off a week might give it something? They won't rest it as it's making them too much money
Do the judges just go on who was the most consistent over the weeks, rather than solely on the day?
They say it's on the day, but unless they serve dog tit for their showstopper then it's overall
