It's too bad Jesse wasn't able to join them for Christmas this year. Honestly, I didn't expect him to be an atheist but I think her parents seem accepting regardless of how important the church is for them. It may have made some things a bit awkward though when he was still living there.

It such a good feeling to watch a video and not to be afraid that some Lush's or similar advert is creeping from behind I just remember how she made hotel breakfast for her family - i loooved the video itself - but she bought a plastic cornflakes/granolla dispenser thingy? I think she's become more controversial because she's become more popular and more of an influencer in the past few months. I don't get the freakout about her going to the supermarket one too many times but can understand the annoyance about not declaring it AD as she should. Anyway, she makes mistakes like everyone else but I wouldn't call her immature either. I do like reading what other people think and what they would like to see more of her doing.

I still really like her, but the AD thign has really annoyed me, it is her full time job, surely she should check what the rules are? she is usually very thorough so it is a disappointment for me tbh

I mean she displays such a healthy attitude towards food in every video she uploads so I really don't think there's anything to worry about regarding her restricting. She's never promoted ridiculous exercise or fad diets. I luckily don't have an ED myself but if you (or anyone else) are triggered by certain things then I'd maybe steer clear of her food related videos? I can't stress enough how food isn't inherently negative and I hope you can have a good relationship with it in the future - I hope I don't sound patronising but Grace is probably one of the best youtubers in regards to portraying a healthy and non-restrictive diet and her slim figure will be mostly down to genetics. There isn't a one size fits all approach to eating and you're not any less worthy if you can't maintain a physique like Grace or if you eat more or less than her!! We're all different and she can only portray her own experiences as a tall, slim girl with a love of food and baking!!x

That's the thing.. my body is very similar to hers, but I have an ED and my BMI is 15, hence why I'm a little bit cautious whether her body really is naturally that skinny. In a lot of her try on videos you can see her bones which indicates her BMI must be underweight. I'm sure she is absolutely fine though and this is just my ED talking! I'm.noy triggered at all by her food content, just her body..which is a shame since she cant not show herself and otherwise I love watching her.

I see where you’re all coming from. I sometimes steer clear from some of the food centred videos even though her channel is baking/cooking/challenge type videos. I generally don’t mind her main content but I prefer her vlogs a videos different from what she normally does.
One video that didn’t sit well with me was the video where she did a weeks worth of workouts because I know for many it can be triggering. But otherwise I like her content.
Off topic: other than Chloe moving out (which was mentioned earlier) what else did Grace talk about?

Yes, he had a road collision accident or something? His Dad was on there with him and at the time Grace was asked a lot if it was the man from her church/vlogs and his son.

is her dad a head of primary school or an high school, i never really thought what subject teachers became heads but looking back when i was at school it was always PE teachers who became Heads.
I found out was Jessie did and i was quite surprised

Oh really? At my school half the PE teachers seemed to be geography teachers too, never knew what thats was about. I thought headmaster usually went to history or English teacher types though that’s based on literally one example I know of.

What does Jessie do?

My main gripe with grace at the moment is how much she films up her nose. It’s a pet hate of mine in general and she does it CONSTANTLY. I really find it a bit gross.

I am not exatly sure which church she is with... but I have an idea as an ex housemate was with one in a very similar area... if I am right, they are one of those very American-ish Christian churches with huge halls of people and singing etc... although I could be wrong, this is just based on where I know they used to live

I believe they are part of the Hillsong church, they vlogged going to a conference and a giant service in an Arena in the past. There’s been claims from past members as a few celebs are In Hillsong that it’s a little Cult-y so I can see that’s why they are the way they are with friends, partners etc... each to their own though. As long as their happy!

Often when people live with their parents into adulthood, they are more childlike, and it's possible now that both other children have moved out, that Grace's parents are more focused on keeping Grace a child at home. Some parents will dote (especially on their youngest) to avoid them moving away and leaving. If she's home permenantly without any sign of when she can move on, move out, it's probably easy to regress a bit. I legit worry about Taz a bit, sometimes she doesn't seem totally stable, but Grace seems pretty sound, like she'll always be ok

I love grace but in her stories she’s out for breakfast and shopping with a friend? Which definitely isn’t allowed....

But how is it open when its not allowed? Here things are closed when youre not supposed to go there.

The breakfast buffet one where her mum says how lovely grace is and how thankful she is for her, actually made me shed a tear or two.
they seem like such a lovely family. Love the house And how even though it’s obviously a large house they are down to earth and everything is just normal.Ie there’s a bit of mess but you know it’s clean just homely and lived in.

The whole family seems genuine and i bet her parents and sister are great teachers too.

In a recent video I recall her saying that she was told she was allergic (when she was younger I presume) but that she may grow out of it. She said that recently she had noticed that when she accidentally had dairy it didn’t have as much of an effect as it used to but still upset her stomach so she said she thinks she must just have an intolerance now and not a full on allergy.

Allergies/intolerances are so strange! with my dairy intolerance I can be okay sometimes for months eating bits of dairy but then seemingly I eat too much and then I really cannot eat it for a while again, it is really strange

yeah 100% agree, I went to a christian school for msot of my education growing up and really don't think just socialising with one relgion like that is a good idea. I think just the lack of awareness of other types of people (not discriminating purposely at all) does just make you more limited as a person (and I say this for myself, as someone with mainly white friends) I was really shocked by what the BLM movement here revealed, I learned a lot but did wish I had been more aware before

I'm glad you get where I'm coming from I didn't want to seem harsh or judgemental but being from Ireland I know all about how weird and closed minded religion can be ! Mixing with people with different life experiences really does help people mature I feel. Like it's good to see things from others eyes and if you're always with people exactly like you that will never happen especially if you come from a privileged background you can come across out of touch without even meaning it because you know no different. Yeah I know those types of churches ! They're quite popular with young religious people over here too but from what I know they still believe in the core christian beliefs.
