I am worried for her. Accutane can wreak havoc on your mental health. I know she’s not taken this decision lightly but I do hope she keeps an eye on her mood.

love grackle. recently started watching her. does anyone have any stories with use of accutane?

I took accutane when I was 11 and 12 years old (usually they don't prescribe to people so young but my acne was really affecting my self esteem). It did clear up my acne perfectly but gave me very dry, flaky skin all over my face. My dermatologist at the time recommended using the Aveeno moisturiser. It even dried my eyes out so I had to use eye drops multiple times per day. The main side effect for me was really bad joint pain. I was okay to walk but could no longer take part in swimming or cross country as the pain was excruciating. My acne did return a couple of years later but this may be because of teenage hormones. It was only on a mild level this time though, whereas before accutane, my acne was really cystic and inflamed. Hope this helps! I think it's good that Grace is sharing her accutane journey as I would have found it really helpful and assuring back then.

I know what you mean but my sister was a similar age when she eventually went on it & she actually suffered from quite bad anxiety at the time so was very wary. However, she found as her skin improved her mental health actually did as well, I don't think she realised how much her acne was affecting her mood untill it started to clear. I think Grace seems like she might be the same & I'm sure her family will keep a close eye on her, she seems like she has a really good support network & think she could end up making some really helpful videos from this.

I think her family will be amazingly supportive. I just don't want our lovely girl to feel bad. I am more concerned about the mood changes that come when you are withdrawing the drug. It can wreak havoc in otherwise mentally healthy people.

I too have been struggling with ED and there was never anyone online that displayed a good relationship with food or a well balanced/intuitive approach to food and health. So its refreshing to see someone like Grace who does.

Whilst I do agree I also do find it a bit 'triggering' (for want of a better word..) how skinny she is. I know it's natural for her but for the majority of people, to be her size you would need to be restricting alot. I dont know..it just doesnt quite sit right.

the tagging thing is a fairly popular thing among my age group, I'm a few years younger than Grace. So for example if you took a photo and the Sun was in it then you would tag an Instagram account called sun as a joke that you were like tagging the Sun in your post because it appears on your pic if that makes sense

I think her Q+A proved that it’s not just Tattle with the questions on boyfriends, Chloe etc too.

I do think she finds the criticism hard, it was the same in that quiz she got people to fill in. I do think if she doesn’t want the criticism she shouldn’t invite it via wide open Q+As or the quizzes though.

I think also (from my impression anyway) she views youtube as more of a hobby than a job and wants to work outside it. but yeh if she is living at homeand not paying rent for the moment she doesn't need to earn too much anyway

I don't know why but I get the feeling that chloe hasn't been with her fiance for very long.

We don’t see much of her but Chloe doesn’t seem like the type to rush into a marriage. Though if they’ve been together for years now before he proposed Grace has done an exceptional job of not revealing him and respecting their privacy.

Same tbh I hate when influencers do that. It should be AD. Some of the worst offenders disguise 'ad' in white writing in the background of their white walls on their instagram stories so you have to proper scour the post to see if they're being paid to flog something they've never used. I have no problem with Grace getting that coin and I do trust that she'll only accept sponsorships from companies she genuinely likes and uses but yeah, I don't like the lowercase 'ad'.

I did wonder if that post she did of her stood in front of books, where the second one was a v close up look of her hair clip and the company was tagged was an undisclosed ad, or a “gift” (which I think you’re also supposed to disclose?). It just didn’t seem natural... I thought she wouldn’t do that, but the lowercase ad on this now has me wondering.

I think in one of the vlogs recently she said she only had a month to buy her outfit for Chloe’s wedding. I may have misheard but I remember being surprised as she only got engaged very recently and it must be even harder to book somewhere during Covid times. I wish them well though, the whole family is so lovely.

I’m genuinely surprised anyone can book any place for any events during this time. But I’m happy for the family and I hope all the best for them.
Chloe is going to be the most beautiful bride! I hope to see at least some footage from the wedding for at least some photos.

LT have a very strong union ( one of the few companies who do in the uk) layoffs would be difficult I think

I agree 100%! I like Grace and her personality. There are many videos I enjoy watching but mostly watch her because I connect well with her.
To reiterate what has been said:
Although everyone is entitled to their opinions but at the end of the day everyone makes mistakes.
I don’t want her automatically canceled just because of some mistakes she’s made on camera and social media. I don’t condone what she’s done but I don’t want her overly scrutinized, especially when there are worse people on social media platforms.
That’s just me.
If she sees some comments on her YouTube or Instagram, I hope she will then learn her lesson.

From her live this morning I would say it’s fairly obvious she or someone she is close with reads here!
