I've now binge watched a lot of her videos. She's so refreshing. She engages with her viewers very well.

I think she bakes a lot of stuff most of us would generally just buy, like the pitta so it seems a lot but it’s the same amount of food.

Her mum got annoyed when she did a bunch of the challenges (I can’t remember whether it was insta or tiktok or others) in what seemed like about a week and they had tons of cakes etc in the first lockdown, I assumed it was fine when she was taking them to church etc but suddenly they were piling up in the house - I’ve noticed she’s been seemingly spacing those out a bit more.

I missed the live video that Grace did. What did she talk about (other than the news of Chloe moving out, which was mentioned)?

She was just answering questions really, told a modelling story, talked about it being her last month on Accutane, who is Jesse's favourite sister is (he doesn't have one), just random stuff. Her internet went off so it ended abruptly. Lots of people asking about the Dairy situation but she didn't get to answering that. Did she ever mention it further in a video?

Fair enough! I didn’t know they previously had Jesse as a bubble or that Chloe had moved out! I did think that Grace and Honor were too close when she posted on insta tho. I don’t get it?! First of all don’t do it, but second of all, why post it!?

She’s hinted stuff that implies Chloe moved out but I’m not sure it’s been confirmed tbh.

I only really noticed the different people because I bingewatched quite a few of her videos in a row while self isolating, if you watched them all just as she released it would be way less noticeable.

She’s uploaded a vlog on her second channel talking about her dairy stuff, I know we’ve discussed it here but it’s a super common comment on all her socials too whenever she mentions dairy.

She says she was just intolerant and it started in 6th form after she was on antibiotics, but after starting with small amounts she can mostly tolerate it now (though she doesn’t like normal milk so will still have plant based milk).

ETA: she did specifically say lactose intolerance gang then referred to dairy intolerant so I think she’s using the terms interchangeably which may have added to the confusion previously.

Overall I think Grackle is miles ahead of most youtuber in dedication/organization, creativity, being genuine and humble and of course we criticize people who put themselves online much harshly then we would a real life friend. Also people are viewing her with many different backgrounds and the difference of her life vs. theirs can create unnecessary criticism where if someone and their friend group tends to move out by uni/22, Grace staying at her parents seems "abnormal" when it isn't really.

The thing about "product development" is that it is LITERALLY creating, fine tuning/adjusting iterations of a bake or food product, either on an industrial or mom and pop level. You really need to know the ins and outs of how each ingredient or technical choice alters a bake and be willing to slog through the process of optimizing each element. So I think there seems to be a disconnect between what she thought she would do with her uni background and then this youtuber career that took off towards the end of her degree. It's not uncommon for new grads to face this dilemma once they graduate, not criticizing her for it. She's lovely and I think she could make this happen in a really cool way even a la Claire from Bon Appetit. Who knows maybe she is working on it?

yeh I think that was probably the aim of her degree, if you wanted to be a baker etc you would just do culinary school/some kind of internetship not a degree, it is similar when you do Food Tech at GCSe (not comparing the two obviously lol) but the aim isn't so much just "cooking" btu the whole development/marketing of products (at least that was my experience)

I get the impression someone’s been reading here. In her last video she said how she’d not been to the shops in a week. And made a point of mentioning it was for essentials (female hygiene) and I swear she’s never ever brought that up before.

Her valentines vlog confused me because she said something like 'everyday we live we're one step closer to freedom' assuming she was talking about the lockdown ending. Not much freedom now with it but I assume when you're dead there's even less yet it just sounded a bit morbid not like something Grace would say.I saw someone else commented on it also. Idk, it was weird phrasing to me. Maybe she just lacks a filter sometimes lol. Anyway the lil cake she made was cute and I like the banter between her and papa booth.

I think Grace and her family are part of the Life City Church, which describe them selfs as vibrant, friendly and modern multicultural church in the heart of South London. And I think Graces mum and dad are pretty high up in the church from what I seen on the church’s website

Jesse moved out a while ago with flatmates, and Honour and Her did various stories that were not distanced

I wonder now that Grace is under management. What will that mean for content? Will it change or stay the same? Are there some content that will be controlled or does she have full control? And what does that mean for extra opportunities that she gets?
I hope all the best for her and see future. Can’t wait to see what’s next.

I don’t live in the UK, so does the tier lockdown rules differ from area to area or does the rules apply to the whole country?

I wonder if Grace will be allowed to vlog little bits of Chloe’s wedding? Since Chloe prefers to not be on camera and wants to keep her life private (I understand completely) but I’m still a bit nosy.

the country is basically in a tiered system right now. So there are different levels of restrictions across the country depending on the levels of covid. It’s. 1-3 tiered system with 3 being the most restricted areas. I’m tier 2 for example same as Grace and we now have all retail shops back open but masks have to be worn and there are restrictions on who you can meet with inside your home etc

This is a pet peeve of mine, influencers write “AD” in lower capitals “ad” and follow the next word with a capital letter to try and mask its a sponsored post. If anything it should be AD or at least Ad. I never thought I’d see Grace do it to be honest, disappointed.

I saw this post and knew it must be sponsored but I genuinely couldn't see where she had disclosed it until I saw your post. Disappointing, but I would hope it wasn't intentionally misleading.
