Overall I think Grackle is miles ahead of most youtuber in dedication/organization, creativity, being genuine and humble and of course we criticize people who put themselves online much harshly then we would a real life friend. Also people are viewing her with many different backgrounds and the difference of her life vs. theirs can create unnecessary criticism where if someone and their friend group tends to move out by uni/22, Grace staying at her parents seems "abnormal" when it isn't really.

The thing about "product development" is that it is LITERALLY creating, fine tuning/adjusting iterations of a bake or food product, either on an industrial or mom and pop level. You really need to know the ins and outs of how each ingredient or technical choice alters a bake and be willing to slog through the process of optimizing each element. So I think there seems to be a disconnect between what she thought she would do with her uni background and then this youtuber career that took off towards the end of her degree. It's not uncommon for new grads to face this dilemma once they graduate, not criticizing her for it. She's lovely and I think she could make this happen in a really cool way even a la Claire from Bon Appetit. Who knows maybe she is working on it?

I'm quite sure she is underweight, albeit naturally. I think it can be difficult as it's misleading - very, very, VERY few people with a healthy relationship with food will be that size.

i'm also wondering if she addressed eating dairy again, i think she said she will in a future video and then never ended up doing it?

For me, as a dairy free person, it’s very hard to be dairy free when it’s not a choice. I’m not lactose intolerant but allergic to cows milk and yeah I sneak in a bit of cheese and chocolate and suffer the consequences big time but I don’t judge her and it’s very hard to remove diary completely when it’s something that’s so very tasty! I also take allergy tablets when I know I’ll have dairy so she could be taking lactose pills as I’ve seen them in Holland and Barrett

I think she does bake excessively I remember her saying that her mum dislikes it when she bakes too much. I'm guessing as they then have an overflow of goods that need to be eaten. I personally would love to live with someone who bakes loads but I love to eat.

Just watched her Valentines Day in London vlog - awww! She is the sweetest girl ever...reminds me of myself ten years ago in looks and voice albeit a much happier version. Her videos and According2Taz are the only user generated content I watch any more. I've given up on everyone else because I was so sick of all the shadiness, lies and deceit. I can genuinely fangirl over Grace, she is one in a million!

Honestly in her situation with a lovely big house and parents she gets on with, I wouldn’t be gagging to move out in her place, especially during a pandemic, so I think she’ll be there for a while yet. Can’t see them charging her rent either, I bet they’re the type who will tell her to save for a deposit instead and Grace is sensible enough to appreciate that and do it.

Sometimes ubereats and deliveroo just don't reach your area, even if you're just in the suburbs. You get better options the closer you live to the city centre. There used to not be that many options that delivered to my home address (about 4 miles out from Manchester city centre so not rural at all), mainly just local takeaways, but its a lot better now. At my uni address, I can order from all the city centre restaurants so I have to restrain myself

I think it might be that deliveroo have now extended their reach when restaurants cannot open. Me and my parents both live in London (different areas, I live closer into the centre) and it used to be that my parents had almost no deliveroo options, but in the last few months there is alsmot no difference. restaurants have to use it to survive now tbh

Only found her through this thread and watched several videos. I really like her - she seems so cheerful and nice and not in that fake twee YTy way (Tanya Burr before she changed). I don't know if anyone watches the brilliant and hilarious 'This Country' but her voice and mannerisms and bone structure really remind me Kurtan Mucklowe.

I used to be part of a church that went to big Christian festivals, that gives me similar vibes to Grace's church. Personlly I don't think it's cult like, everone I met were welcoming and accepting, and no sort of "fundamentalist" vibes. Although I'm no longer a Christian I don't get any bad vibes from this church; it obviously has a positive impact on the Booths lives. There are different denominations of Christianity that are so so much worse in terms of brainwashing and anti-LQBTQ+ for example.

On another note I really hope Accutane helps Grace out, her acne obviously afects her and I can really sympathise with her on it, it's obviously a big decision but it sems she's thought about this thouroughly

I saw grace and honour today. Their friendship seemed very genuine and they just clearly enjoy spending time together. I personally loved their video. It’s hard in lockdown and tbh who can blame them for getting so excited? Life is so boring right now.

It definitely started off as a rave thread but I think people are slowly getting annoyed at things that happens and she’s grating on some people. Which is perfectly normal, you’re not going to love everything someone does
