On the subject of her current state, I remember reading a tweet or retweet of hers saying something about doctors being as dangerous to black women as the police are to black men. I’m not denying medical racism but it’s pretty absurd.

Absurd but in many cases true sadly - Rochelle Humes just did a documentary about Black women being 5x more likely to die in childbirth and some of the stories were horrific

Her tweets are really rubbing me up the wrong way now. I understand she's been given a second chance at life and wants to live it to the fullest but these are so superficial and materialistic it's insane. Most people in her position would be dealing with such a loss in income that treating yourself wouldn't be an option. They'd have to not only rebuild their health and strength, but their whole lives too.

I've been trying to take this as her just waffling and fantasising but everything is about indulging in flashy things.

To sit down and type atrocities on your crumb-covered phones with zero remorse or consideration for what Grace, her family (Inc her son) have been through in the last three months. I honestly feel sorry for some of you because your lives must really be going down the shitter if you've got time to sit around all day and make vile comments about her weight. And don't get me started on the speculation about the medical procedures she's undergone and recovery time.

Ultimately, if she hadn't have came back to social media, some of you troglodytes would have nish to talk about so I think she's done you a solid

Everyone on here has been nice about Grace. All agreeing we wished her and her family well.

As someone who works in Pathology and sees blood results - its known people who are morbidly obese are at a higher risk of dying from covid. This is just a fact. People saying they hope she now lives a healthier lifestyle is NOT hating on her.

Her social media since she got back on it has been her acting like she's some miracle. She is not. She lives in the UK where they have the NHS. Im not even in the UK and know of the extraordinary work they do. She had a 5% survival rate and survived! Thanks to the countless hours and effort made by her consultants.. nurses.. registars.. healthcare assistants...

We need sites like this so people know about their shitty behavior. Now do yourself a favour and get off tattle love.

She is now suggesting that she asked the doctors to remove her baby. Wtaf?! I'd imagine they would give her options for treatment and tell her about the consequences but she actually asked of her own volition because of her 'intuition'?! What?!

Also, it's not like she fell into a coma, she was put into one.

I think the manifestation stuff is a real problem for young ppl who don’t see much hope for their futures without it. Suspect there’s a lot of overlap with bad financial advice Twitter - Sarah A or the morons recommending investment products etc who aren’t FCA regulated so utter dangers. Things are hard for young people, it’s hard to own property, hard to negotiate better pay, hard to even have a job for some in the current climate. Manifestation gives them hope and that’s why they cling to people like Grace that they see as successes of the program, they see she’s on YouTube and in a Stormzy is 72 years old video and think she’s stacking her money as she says. No one bothers to look at her companies house or actually consider how skint you must be before you consider advertising lube whilst pregnant. It’s really sad tbh.

Looks like she has/had a tracheotomy. That is hard to recover from I have read. I wonder can she speak?

I just read this... "The median survival after tracheostomy was 21 months (range, 0-155 months). The survival rate was 65% by 1 year and 45% by 2 years after tracheostomy."

I don't think she's out of the woods yet.

I’m a nurse and we do. I’ve heard of patients who have had to have big chucks of hair cut out as it has become so matted over time I tend to put it in a bun or braid it if the patient is going to be bedbound for a long period of time.
Grace has been awake for a little while now, I would assume she’s washed it since then and either she/visitors/nurses have done the braiding for her

I honestly think she has kind of painted herself into a corner given how much before her illness she went on about holistic medicine, alternative therapies etc and how that has made her so 'healthy' and then she unexpectedly finds herself seriously ill, treated by conventional medicine. She probably feels like it's not part of her 'brand' to admit that the medicine she has repeatedly scorned and turned her back on saved her life. I think that's why all her tweets have been so weird because she feels like she can't actually admit what happened, why it happened and what made her better because it goes against everything she has said before.
