If nearly dying didn't instill some humility into her short arsecrack having self, then nothing will. She is going to be more insufferable than ever before.

As an obese person myself, going on a diet will be the last thing on her mind after her traumatic experience. Ideally she’d address the issues she has surrounding food (anyone who over eats or under eats has other issues going on, myself included). The majority, if not all, obese people know HOW to lose weight, it’s the actually doing it that’s hard. Plus her whole brand is based on her being a larger than life character. She looks very ill and I don’t think that other than some cuddles she’ll be able to do much parenting. My friend who is a ‘healthy’ weight and didn’t end in hospital is on month 6 of being ill with long Covid and can’t stand for more than 10 mins a day. Prior to this she would be active all day with work, bike to and from work, workout/garden and have long walks each weekend, the muscle wastage and fatigue has been awful.

I just cannot fathom waking up from a coma and thinking about buying a designer bag and a luxury holiday. And that’s without considering the fact that she has a baby to think about!

A party I’ll give her a pass for, because I think most of us would be thinking about seeing our nearest and dearest and I suppose that’s one way to do that. Not anytime soon, though!

Whoever said the baby is just an accessory is spot on. It’s just about the outfits and also how she feels as a “mama”.

Sorry but Grace referring to herself as a miracle (in the third person, might I add) really rubs me the wrong way lol
It's a really nice photo though.

We're all happy she's pulled through but her arrogance is nauseating and a kick in the tit for anyone who's lost a relative to covid - i.e. are they not gifted enough to live?

She's posted a photo of her and a student nurse that looked after her on the rehab ward. She also posted how overwhelming it is to not have NHS ward staff around her all the time at home. I do think she is grateful for everything the NHS has done for her. To me it's so lovely to see a 'blogger /instagrammer' with a photo of a student nurse posted on nurses day. I will give her credit. She has a long journey ahead. Also when she talked about food all the time in hospital I can sympathise as I'm always talking to my patients about nice grub 😂

She looked fantastic at that size.
She had an eating disorder. Looking good on the outside doesn’t mean inside. Personally would choose to be happy and fat over skinny and sad any day. There is more than appearance in this world and it’s not worth an eating disorder.

I think the reality of her being a mother just hasn’t set in. Whether it’s for (understandably) being in a coma for as long as she has or for reasons unknown. Also, her tweets are just completely disgraceful. Get a grip, love!

Honestly I can’t love this enough! So bloody true!
It’s just how they justify us - in their little brain we have to be TROLLS because anyone that doesn’t sit back and love all over them and tell them how amazing they are must be a troll! I don’t Understand why they don’t just MANiFEST for all the trolls to love them?? 🤪

Because it's embarrassing to realise people with normal lives, good jobs and relationships don't see them as beacons of society to look up to, especially as we're more likely to be the ones they encounter on a day to day.

It has them shook to think their peers or even those "above" them might not like them. It's easier to pretend it's people who'd be "beneath" them. Or as Charleigh likes to call them, "nobodies".

Also makes it easier to convince themselves they're disliked purely for their lifestyle and not anything personal like, their shitty personalities.

NO ONE HAS TO LIKE YOU!

I'm shocked at Charleigh's message. I didn't know she had the vocabulary.

She has no idea what a baby entails. She hasn’t done any sleepless nights, poo explosion nappies etc. Her fella has basically done all the hard work whilst no doubt worrying about his partner and funds. She’s making out that’s she’s gonna have a ‘hot girl summer’ when the reality is she could still be in hospital, learning basic tasks or at home caring for a baby that’s past the newborn stage and will want entertaining and getting into a sleep routine.

I think someone from her team had a word with her.

If she wants to cash in on this (which we know she will) it will go down like a led balloon if the NHS Aren’t mentioned or thanked when they have been a massive part of Covid.

The enormity and reality of what her body has been through but also the emotional and psychological impact of being in ICU (many struggle after, it's not as simple as being grateful to be alive), missing out on those first few months with her child, and the dynamic of the relationship with her partner changing likely hasn't hit her yet. The brain does wonderful things to try and protect us from traumatic events, I can't even comprehend all of what she has done through, but pretty sure losing weight isn't at the forefront of her mind, and seems harsh to be judging her for that.

Grace has obviously experienced her doctor (before falling pregnant) mentioning a concern about her being morbidly obese and all the health problems that come along with it and she has taken offence to it rather than seeing it as a doctor wanting to do their job and preserve life and offer healthy lifestyle advice....

I have a friend who is around 3 stone lighter than Grace but around 5’4. We were out shoe shopping a couple of years ago in town and she couldn’t find a boot to zip up or pull up over her large calves. She is a really good friend of mine but unfortunately has the same qualities as Grace and reminds me of her a lot... I remember being in the shop (think it was evans) and she was sat on the cushioned stool trying to get a boot on and the lady who worked there politely came over and asked if she would like any help or if there was anything in particular she was looking for (genuinely a normal customer service question) if it was me in that situation I’d either reply with “yes please” or “no thank you I’m ok” I wouldn’t think anything of it. But my friend literally bit this woman’s head off... it was awful 😞 I felt so embarrassed, everyone was staring over and my friend was shouting “why?! Because I’m big??? Is that what you THINK I NEED your help! Fuck off” it was just completely out the blue, it was like she was a bomb waiting to go off! Just waiting for anyone to make a comment so she could kick off and make it about her weight.
I feel like Grace is the same, she has taken something a concerned doctor has said to heart and is making it about fat phobia. She went into that hospital with that mindset of the NHS “not being on her side” and it looks like her manifestation actually worked for once! She didn’t get the water birth with candles that she wanted and ended up in a coma for 3 months... so sad :(

I think the problem with grace in my opinion is she plays the “professional victim” very well. Not just grace there are plenty of instagrammers like tess holiday and Munroe bergdorf who get their money from speaking on issues that aren’t even necessarily true when fronted with facts. They do speak on actual problems sometimes but there whole job is playing that victim it’s the only way they get brand deals ect, which is problematic in itself only being hired based on your weight, ethnicity, gender ect. They are the tick boxes and are happy to be those so amplify those. It’s just soooo draining

It’s mental now her cult are swallowing the narrative that she magically birthed her son purpose to save him before she went into a coma.

there’s no shame in getting sick, or getting coronavirus. She’s so obsessed with trying to be this beacon of vitality. Still remember how someone commented on her YouTube after she had been in hospital to get checked out because she sounded out of breath and she shot them down.
I know fake health concern for fat people is a thing, but also come the fuck on.
