I thought I was shocked by Grace's tweet but I really don't think I am - I think that what has happened to her is awful and very tragic considering her son etc but fundamentally I don't think she's a good, nice or kind person. She can bang on about positivity as much as she likes but she is not good in her heart. She shows it repeatedly and this tweet is just another example of that and completely indicative of her thinking.

I've followed Grace (and kind of her sister) for years and they both have crafted all sorts of stories about their past that have proven not to be true but all of the stories have the same pattern - they are victims but they are strong and rise above. I honestly think it comes from their obsession with Demi Lovato, which sounds dumb but it's true!

I was shocked when I read the tweet. I'm very happy she overcome this huge obstacle but the only reason she did is the medical care she was provided with. Without the care of the NHS, she wouldn't have survived.
Because of her behavior during pregnancy she got COVID and because of her weight she ended up in coma. Here's the only "because I'm me" she should care about.

Grace RT'd this...her ego knows no bounds.

Also, I HATE when people go on about how "God is great" (her followers). No. How about science and the doctors who saved her life are great. Sorry, I am a total atheist and just find that mindset SO insulting.

So she has been out of that coma for 5 mins and is already being an insufferable, narcissistic twit as always! This experience has not humbled her or changed her !Imagine what she Will be like once she has recovered from all this....

As a Christian, we also believe in science as well as the gifts, skills and roles of people in society. It would have taken nothing for Grace to extend some thanks to healthcare workers and many believers of any faith would have done so.

Has she actually thanked the doctors and nurses at all? If she is so great why didn’t she just stay at home and fight the virus from there, hmm? Oh yes, because it’s actually down to the NHS, medicine and science (and luck) that she survived while so many others died. I can’t believe actually how many people on Twitter don’t think that what she said was insensitive. I get wanting to celebrate and be happy that she came through it all but she’s really worded it badly in my opinion.

You are right. I think it is the fact the medical staff are not acknowledged/thanked at all by Grace, although Charleigh did mention them.

I’m so delighted and relieved Grace woke up and worried every single day about her. It’s wonderful and brilliant that she survived. What a fantastic service the NHS is.
I just think the ‘because I’m me’ is a kick in the face for anyone who didn’t and anyone who lost loved ones.

So she’s still unbearably delusional about how everything happens because she’s ‘her’. The audacity lol.

I feel so sorry for the nurses and doctors who may read her tweets after all they’ve been through during covid & particularly considering the 1:1 (or 2:1 or whatever ICU ratios are) care she’d have received from them. Sad really.

At least that little baby gets a mummy though

The insufferableness continues.

I am genuinely glad though she is going to be home with her baby.

Another thing, my Aunt swears that Jay Blades... some BBC presenter, is Grace's father because he left a comment on her insta saying, 'my daughter, child & Grace's partner are reunited again'.

Is this a joke? I don't know why but i thought her dad wasn't in the picture.

First post here but I'm floored by her audacity. This is so damaging. She's treated her body awfully, she took risks and caught covid 19. She was in a coma. But she wakes up and starts saying she survived because of praying and because she's strong!? She got lucky and had excellent medical care. This is a kick in the face to so many people. Gleam should tell her to delete it and issue an apology. SHe was lucky, many have not been.

Now that I look at her Insta, what does the caption "Making 6yrs old Grace proud" mean?

There’s a post on his blog here which is to all his children and has a photo of Grace on there, so maybe he is her Dad?

Reading about others having come out of the worst of COVID, the prevailing messages they have after is both gratitude for medical staff AND survivors’ guilt wondering how others in their same position didn’t make it. So I was shocked reading that tweet. It sounds craven. And frankly, it’s worse knowing she likely infected countless others when she went out and about COVID-positive.
