Genuinely saddened by this, Mary and Marina were probably my favourites, they bounced off each other so well and never failed to make me laugh. I was shocked to find she was 92 as she seemed so sprightly and independent. RIP Mary x
RIP Mary.
I was also surprised to read that she was 92.

That girl Paige. Wow. What a FUCKING EGO this one has.

Well, firstly the recruitment consultant is also a DIRECTOR, TV STAR & BUSINESS OWNER.
Mmm ok.

The fact that she keeps attempting to drum interest in the story about her mum, and no one cares - now she claim death threats ? Which for some reason I don’t believe. Or the time claimed she has to go shopping late at night due to being MOBBED ?
Mmm ok.

I think it boils down to the fact she wasn’t one of the shoe favourites with the public and she’s had an almighty strop about it. No one cares about the feud between her and her mum, or even her. She’s not famous, she’s just on a show that’s popular - that doesn’t constitute being a TV STAR.

If you read her tweets …. One delusional fuckwit.

I think Channel 4 should ask Ellie if she would like to make a documentary about brain injuries and the proceeds could go to the charity she is raising funds for. It might do her good to keep busy and document Nat's recovery.

Does anyone else think that what they make from the show is quite low? Apparently it's £1,500 a month. Considering how popular the show is, and how popular many of the families are, it just seems fairly low. Then again I'm not sure what correct amount would be for a show like that.

I really love Nick Grimshaw and his niece, they always crack me up! They have such natural chemistry it’s lovely
None of us will ever like the same things so I have to say I can't stand them, although I know many posters do. I don't find them funny and I don't feel the chemistry. Sorry!

I wonder who decides what shows they’re going to watch and how far in advance the Goggleboxers know.
There are a few researchers who must watch a lot of programmes in advance to select what they think will be entertaining.
I *think* the Goggleboxers are sent tapes (or the equivalent these days 😂) with some of the programmes ahead of broadcast. Possibly why so many C4 programmes are used. Hence their genuine surprise at what appears. I always used to wonder why they expressed surprise when I thought they had selected the programme.
Not sure how it works for live things like the news - maybe they are all told to watch, for eg, the 10 o clock news, or Britain's Got Talent at the same time.

The pregnant County Durham woman earned her paycheck for the reaction to the ventriloquist dummy coming out. The sigh was "for fuck's sake" condensed into a single sound.

It's genuine reactions like that we're all here for (and what got the "stars" scouted in the first place), so I've got no idea why the producers encourage the staged bits.

Marcus has a cat 🥰

I liked this episode. I especially liked their reactions to the shouty American women. I'd find it funny even without the comments...the way the pair started screaming as soon as she opened the door really got me. 😂 And then there was that nutcase presenter of SAS: Who Dares Wins. Then Maeva (or however you spell her name) from MIC, who increasingly reminds me of Villanelle. So many 'unique' characters.
that “cleaning up” show was the best part of the episode for me 🤣 the way they were so blown away by a shoe rack! best episode for a while - apart from the news stuff.

maeva makes me want to watch made in chelsea. she cannot be a real person.
