I used to quite like the but now they really play up to the cameras.
I hate how she over pronounces words too! Please tell me I’m not the only one to notice it.

Agreed, looks awful and wish him a speedy recovery. However I don’t agree with the generalisation of the car. I own a white seat leon very much like the one in the photo and I’m a single mother of 2 kids. Hardly a boy racer!

I'm not sure how long the new Scottish pair will last.

It sounds like a cliche but they were difficult to understand if you're not tuned into the accent. Have a family from Scotland but not with such strong accents. It's a same with Geordies or Scousers. Of all the people in Scotland they picked those two.

same! they also don’t add anything new - it’s yet another boy/girl couple. they have so many couples/siblings/families at the moment. i would have liked to see a group of flat mates or a house share or just something different.

i’m not a fan of the baggs either. the way the two boys speak to their mother is off to me and the dad just seems to sit there silently.

I didn’t enjoy it much. Jenny and Lee are acting up so much for the cameras. They are clearly encouraged by the producers. Eventually it will destroy the concept of the programme. I think they have lost a lot of the original, naturally funny contributors so they are over egging the pudding.

I think this happens with most reality style shows, it’s a shame really as I enjoyed the simple concept & the people being real

I’ve not watched the new episode but can I just say how much I Gyles Brandreth on this. He makes me laugh so much. I want to watch telly with him. Him or Martin Kemp (but for different reasons)

I'm sure they could have filled the LOD slot with something more exciting last night

I got really annoyed by them dissing the Headspace programme. The app is brilliant as a meditation tool and it has really helped me with my mental health challenges over the last ten years. The Netflix show is a great extension to it and I just don’t think the people on the show understood it. It’s not for entertainment or fun, it’s a mental health tool. I do agree that it was a dull thing to have them watch though for that reason! However, as someone who doesn’t watch LOD, I got sick of the weekly slots for LOD on Gogglebox - I like to see variety on it.

I cannot stand the Essex family. The two brothers pop up on my TikTok fyp occasionally and they are the most irritating attention seekers going. The older one does this weird thing with his mouth all the time

Yeah, they're not the best. I'm also glad Paige (was it Paige?) and her mother have left now. They were probably my least favourite pair on Gogglebox.

A duck fetish is the only valid explanation tbh. This show has ruined ducks for me. I'll never be able to look at them in the same way.

Just to get off the topic of ducks - Giles & Mary annoyed me last night with their 'oh no, the cost of living crisis means we won't be able to shop so often at Waitrose and we'll have to make our own loaves!' I know Giles wasn't being 100% serious with the comment, but it seemed insensitive given the fact that they're obviously wealthy and won't struggle.

It's the way Sophie tries to explain something intellectual that annoys me, it always sounds like she has just been told the explanation and she is trying to inform us through Pete, I just don't like her and never have , I lumbered Pete in with my dislike but he actually does say some funny things , and then as you say Sophies annoying laugh starts , I wouldn't mind them replacing Sophie for Petes new wife , I think he is getting married , obviously it would be up to her but it would be better than Sophie imo

He makes sure he mentions it pretty much every week that he’s getting married or is going to be a dad! I don’t think he can quite believe it and wants to make sure we all know.
At least there was no sexual innuendos between brother and sister this week.
My least favourite people on Gogglebox - they’ve irritated me since day 1.
