We can't afford it as we live in Ireland and they don't come to Belfast or Dublin so it would be £500 ferry + a hotel for a night + tickets for us.

Talking of IG accounts, has anyone else seen Dynamite's launch video of her singing career? Omg, it is sooo bad - cheap cheesy video, generic song and her voice is ok but absolutely nothing special

My 8 year old is loving it though, and keeps playing in on Alexa on repeat.

There’s a meet the gladiators event in Victoria Square in Belfast on Saturday. i’m tempted to go but i can’t be arsed queuing for hours. My 9 year old would love it though but they don’t tell you which gladiators are going to be there. Think he’d get his hopes up for Legend and Fury.

How is Radzi Chinyanganya as the presenter? Ive been a fan for a few years and imagine he is good on something like Gladiators

He was good. I wasn't too keen on Maia. She wasn't great at the interviews with people.

I saw a post yesterday on "BBC One" Facebook page and it was all weird. I didnt know if it was an inside joke, or a late April fool etc..... introducing a new gladiator. Olima Omega who is some fitness "influencer" and his gladiators name is Zeus.

I have not seen it on any gladiators fan pages though, so it may be a joke that has totally gone over my head, as I actively ignore any inflencers.

He's a fitness guy/ comedian on Instagram

There was some suspect timings in the live show too - in our one the eliminator had a 6 second lead that was nowhere near that as it would have been ridiculous.

I’ve found some stats on Reddit and I think I will remove the ‘really’ from my ‘really good’ assessment of Sabre’s performance on the events. Whilst stats don’t have context, she’s done pretty well on a number of games (The Ring, The Edge, Powerball, Duel) but obviously lost on Hang Tough (plus two wins) and also lost every time she has done The Wall. Howver, the context missing from The Wall is that Comet and Fire have lost every time they’ve done it and Sabre also did it more in the first series when the headstart was longer than it is now. I still think she’s a good Gladiator and has a character, but it’s just Sheli herself has put me off.

Hammer just doesn’t have a USP aside from his…hammer. He’s a big guy in a sea of big guys. There’s not a lot to make him distinct everyone else.

Cyclone is one of my favourite Gladiators. She’s a proper heel to me with the performance to back it up. Love her.

I agree about Cyclone.

Thanks for double checking the stats. Saber definitely does better in team events.

Quite a few of them have falled deep into the endorsements and 'influencer' vibes sadly. Dynamite, Diamond and Sabre especially. Fury is still fun to follow on IG though.

Ah sad to hear Diamond is falling foul. I fancy the pants off her I’ll go follow Fury, she’s one of my faves.
