I never really watched it in the 90s mostly on account of it being on ITV but of course I was aware of it, not least because Hunter apparently lived close by and my mates at school would mention that they’d seen him in the supermarket with Ulrike.

So I’m surprised at how much I’ve enjoyed the reboot. My favourite Glads are Fire and Fury from the women and Legend, Steel and Nitro from the guys but I really can’t warm to Viper, Bionic, Diamond and Sabre.

Well going by her latest post on IG, I can see why the BBC wouldn't want him promoting her.

Seems that the next episode of Gladiators is on iplayer already if anyone wants to watch it early. Back on tv at the usual time of 17.45.

Vogue would still be climbing that rope now if they hadn't brought the ladder in. What a swizz.

Loved the moment with Nicola and Fury 🥰

Glad they are bringing in a few new games. The one with the perspex wall looks interesting. Seems like a kind of "push-of-war" as opposed to "tug-of-war".

Didn't see Diamond or Legend last night, good to have Nitro back though.
I think Legend was injured at the time of filming

I wonder how close the heats and then subsequent rounds are filmed. There definitely seemed to be some fatigue in tonight’s show

I’ve just seen that Diamond has been badly injured too - ruptured ACL and MCL 😱

Gutted as her and Legend are some of my faves!!

Why aren’t any of the Gladiators in Sheffield yet 😂 I don’t like it. Only sabre has confirmed she’s there everyone else seems to be at home. They can’t have replaced everyone surely 😂😬😱

I think the semi finals are the only 2 episodes filmed on the same day. Every other episode is done on one day, and it takes about an hour in between events to remove and set up the new one.
Apparently last nights episode was actually the 2nd one filmed (saw it on Reddit) and Legend tore his bicep falling off the Edge (🤮🤮) but hid it during the interview (his wife posted on her instagram)

Then personally I think it would have been a brilliant win as she did the rope twice and it was only on the third attempt she used the ladder. She also landed really low down on the cargo net and still caught up.
The ladder was for the monkey bars because each time she jumped to grab them she fell, so she missed out that entire section.

I’m going on the 24th may - seeing Nitro and Dynamite. The live tour was awesome and I’d love to go again too! Developed a bit of a crush on Giant so I’d now rather I was seeing him and Fury…

Is anyone going to the Gladiators experience in Birmingham? I looked to go when Nitro and Dynamite were there but for 1 adult, 1 child and 1 spectator it was going to be £205! I would rather put that towards the live tour again.
