My daughter is obsessed with this. She saw it was on iPlayer this morning and begged me to stay off school to watch it. Absolutely not!

So as soon as she got in, she binged it. Cried lots at the end but I don't know why, as cos I'm only towards the end of series 1, I refused to watch the end!

Have ordered her the book for Xmas. She was a mega Horrible Histories fan and just loves the team in general!

I'm sure financially he's ok. Don't forget he's also writing credits for Paddington 2 and Wonka and a load of books and stuff.

You never know though. Do they do it for exposure? Money for another project? Just fancied it? Why does Olivia Coleman, Sylvester Stallone, Robert De Nero do Warburtons ads?

I remember seeing years back an interview Judi Dench did.
I believe she did some adverts for a brand of butter. When asked why she did it, she replied “It paid for this house!”
So it must be pretty lucrative.

I didn't think this year's Xmas episode was as good as last year but I still enjoyed it. I liked that they drew attention to the high numbers of ex-servicemen who end up homeless.

Jennifer Saunders was unintelligible in places! Her performance was really quite odd.

I want to find out more about how Kitty died. Has anyone got any idea about that? I hope we find out in a new series.

That's how I felt - unmoved. Alison wasn't herself in this episode and Mike's mother was a dull pain the arse. It just wasn't funny or touching like previous Xmas episodes have been

Yes, exactly this! I didn't feel like there was enough genuine interaction between Alison and the ghosts during the episode to warrant tears at the ending.

Loved it with Kylie. I saw an advert for the new taskmaster series and the guy that plays Mike is on that.

Has anyone watched the American version?
I saw the first 2 episodes which are very similar to the British version in storyline setting up the scene.

It's disappointing though. I didn't laugh once.
Some of the characters are based on the UK ones and some aren't. The woman playing the Lady Button type character was nowhere near as good as our Fanny. The characters of Thomas and Julian has been combined into a young hedge fund manager (dreadful). As my daughter pointed out the Americans don't like having any truly despicable characters like Julian which leads to inevitable blandness.

They've done what America always does when recreating many UK sitcoms, copy and paste and then bit of fudging. And it's just terrible. Never their own original spin on it.

I've gone on a bit of a six idiots bender after Ghosts finished.

Love Horrible Histories, it's good that there's decent quality kids tv now. Can't get the songs out of my head "I'm a fire stopper!"

Didn't rate Bill, got bored.

Need to watch Yonderland next but I got rid of Prime. Might watch it at my boyfriend's house.

I might rewatch Ghosts from the beginning and listen to the podcast as well.
