I have been to see Rob Lamberti recently.
I had never heard of him, until this thread last year, so booked up tickets....

He was amazing!!!

It is uncanny quite how much he looks and sounds like George.

I really enjoyed it, and would highly recommend.

Thank you so much to the person who recommended!
I'm still disappointed he didn't sing Last Christmas when we saw him in December 😂

I saw Fast Love in the Indigo at the O2 in London and plenty of people were dancing but that might be venue dependant. Must look up Rob Lamberti near me and see for myself.

Finally finished the biography of George yesterday and just sat for about five minutes sobbing. I also didn't realise how unpopular Goss was amongst George's older and longstanding friends. The less said about the last guy, the better.

Even as a fan at the time, so much was hidden publicly and it feels deeply unjust he's gone. However, I will still think that, whether that's tomorrow or when I'm 95.

This has been spoken about a few times whilst I was listening to the radio so just looked them up. I'm sure they're great and their memories will be genuine and sweet but the cost 😵

That's so expensive. I'm sure GM himself wouldn't have been that much? 😲

I'm a quick reader, but I had to take the book slowly, it definitely played on my head - as much as I'm glad to have read it, it came with sadness didn't it 🙁. Yes, Kenny didn't come out well, or Fadi. How different life may have been for him if he hadn't lost Anselmo 😢☹. Terrible.
Who is the author of this book, so I can look it up?
Sorry if you have already said, had a quick look and couldn't see. Thanks!

I heard it earlier and honestly felt it was boring. It was low quality but I struggled to hear the interpolation

Ok so we went to the Choose George show at our local theatre last night. While it was lovely it was so close to home, I don't think we would go again. I agree with @Flowergirl14 he does sound very much like George but I had a problem with the arrangement of some of the songs. Outside is my favourite and I hated his arrangement of it. Sounds really picky but I see tributes because I love George's music.
Of the 3 tributes we have seen, I would always stick with Rob Lamberti. He is the most true to George's original versions.
The Fast Love show is good but for us, it was soured by the theatre staff who complained about people dancing.
Funnily enough when we got to the theatre last night, we checked if they were ok with us dancing and they said if you are dancing in front of people, then move to the aisles and enjoy yourselves. We encourage people to enjoy the shows as much as possible.
Glad you enjoyed. I agree Rob Lamberti is my favourite....
