I knew a trans man (in the "we were both users of the same cat breed discussion board) who spent years suing and campaigning to be treated as a bona fide man who just happened to be pregnant and then became furious and started suing when a women's hospital said they wouldn't provide maternity care since they were exclusively a women's hospital for women patients and didn't admit it treat men.

What bugs me about non-binary females is the way they describe themselves: that they want to be viewed as a person first and foremost, that they want to be free of the oppressions and gender stereotypes heaped upon women. That they don’t FEEL like women (insert massive eye roll here). I saw a video on my Twitter feed - might have been PinkNews or something

I’m unimpressed with men I follow online, and generally think are decent enough, being so quick to jump aboard the JK is trash and she hates trans people train. It’s like - hey wait a minute, did you read her essay? It was remarkably even handed compared to other gender critical stuff I’ve read. She’s not the anti-Christ!

I think a lot of the men jumping on board the JKR abuse train is because it's a chance to get woke points and make a woman the oppresor for once.
I challenged a good male friend on this after he shared some Harry Potter meme about JK Rowling being transphobic. He admitted he hadn't really that much knowledge on the subject
This. I'm still a bit peeved tbh that my straight male classmates from uni unfriended me because of one single status about JKR. It was the first and only status I ever made about the topic and it simply said I supported her. Apparently that warrants writing off an entire person who probably shares 99% of the same views with you on other things. I always thought they were alright guys but they had no problem silencing a woman over something that affects her but not them. One even had the cheek to drop a comment and unfriend me so I couldn't even response to his comment. fool.
This is what makes me think we are actually in the majority. The people trashing JKR are either extreme TRAs or people who actually haven't thought about these issues at all and just hear that the trans side is supposedly the "woke" side so they just following along blindly bleating like sheep.

The gender-critical reddit page was eyeopening for me...so many people that share the same views and opinions I do.
Oh for goodness sake I’ve literally never said this before but this is pc gawn mad at this point. People are literally falling over themselves to include absolutely every anomaly and it’s ridiculous. What someone identifies as has nothing to do with biology, therefore saying only women, aka adult human females can get pregnant/have periods/have abortions is correct and not exclusionary at all. We don’t need to twist ourselves into knots over this stuff but some people insist.
It is exhausting. They are literally trying to erase women. It is radical.
I think a lot of otherwise reasonable men secretly think that feminism has “gone too far now”, and secretly relish the chance to give women a bit of a kicking.
Actually had an argument with my husband about this last night...womens rights being erased, anyone wanting to be called she/her being allowed in female spaces, etc. He said I was being aggressive about it and have to think about the wider scope of trans people.

In my younger years, I was definitely more left in politics, from about 18-22. I am now 28 and would say I am more centre, and a little right. Def not right wing but absolutely not left. Fed up of women being trampled on by the extreme left and extreme right. They are both as awful as each other.
So, I dont really see trans men out there screaming about changing men's rights and spaces. If trans women want to be women, they need to join our team and fight for women's rights. Not try and divide us and take away our rights even more just to comfort them.

What the actual duck. How are people ok with this?? He successfully petitioned to remove the sex parity rule in NY last year which ensured women's fair and equal participation. Now he wins a "female role."
