I see in his speech the new mayor of New York, Zohran Mamdani, mentions ‘the trans community’ second on the list of the marginalised groups his administration needs to defend. By ‘trans community’, we all know he means TIMs.

No surprise that Mamdani promotes trans issues, same as in Iran. As a muslim he will never recognise the gay/les community.

This is what I take exception to: The tribunal must now weigh whose account is closer to reality

It's irrelevant. He shouldn't have been in there and that should be all that matters. By all means add compensation for distress as well, but the crux of the matter is whether a man should be in women's facilities.
Because one man’s account has the same weight as that of numerous women 🙄🙄

For anyone unfamiliar with the story so far, This guy from Iraq takes care of a lot of the street dogs. He feeds vaccinates them etc a pack of 20 I think he was seeing to. A few weeks ago a complaint was made about a kid getting bitten by a street dog and the government came out and poisoned all the dogs including the ones he’d been looking after.

As a result of this he wanted to start a shelter and everyone said to start a GFM, which GFM suddenly suspended and they’ve told him one of the reasons is he made fun of trans people 😂

I've followed him for a while - he's genuinely funny and cares so much about those dogs.

People make me sick.

Reminds me of that rabbit shelter a few months ago, people were trying to 'cancel' them.
They're just hurting animals in the end, that shows me the calibre of the person. Idiots.

The chap from the rabbit charity didn't really know much about gender/trans issues until the TRAs tried to cancel him for following back a GC account (James Dreyfus, if memory serves). But when that happened he looked into it all, and ended up going on the 199 Days Later march in Cardiff. Operation Let Them Speak peaked him!

I didn’t mean my laughing emoji to look like I’m laughing at the situation omg. It’s because I thought of him saying “transblender” as I wrote “making fun of trans people.

he’s actually very tame with it as well he’s not malicious or venomous with it.

I’m not even a dog person. I’m anti dog if anything. Certain anti dog people. But it made me sad how it happened with his street dogs. I was so happy when it turned out Antar survived 😭😭😭 then when he says “your wife is dead” tho. I do love him he’s a funny guy who’s gone out of his way time and expense to help those animals for GFM to be like that the first time he uses a crowd finder for help.

@terfette sorry if I’m being dim but what is the handle of the guy who saves dogs? I can just see mamdami in your clip and no link to the dog guy (I’m very much a dog person)

Share token - the Telegraph’s expose on bias at the BBC
It was - ironically - the BBC who helped turn me into a Terf. 🤭

My very first introduction to the "new type" of Trans Folx was through seeing headlines on the BBC website. It seemed to be that a constant stream of articles appeared at the bottom of the main page. I was baffled...how could such a tiny number of people be generating so many news stories?

So this was my first step on my journey to become a fully fledged Terf.

He's questioning whether the Woman involved in the Golds Gym incident is really a Woman, ie that old stereotype that Black Women don't look feminine.
Oh yes, I see. Horrible. Repulsive and certainly a racist aside.

OT but relevant BBC Accused of Doctoring Trump January 6 Speech: What We Know - Newsweek
The BBC have done this in pretty much all their reporting on Trans issues.
This is absolutely outrageous. I bleeping hate what the BBC has become.

The BBC have repeatedly proven they cannot provide news and current affairs without bias - on a range of subjects.

Therefore, they should not be entitled to a mandatory TV Licence fee in order to peddle their bias propaganda.

I really do not blame those that decide to stop paying for the TV Licence.

'Aunty' isn't the organisation it was 30/40 years ago.

It has been hijacked by a number of individuals, determined to push their bias opinions on to a wider audience.

Sounds like the ABC here.
It's supposed to be an impartial, government owned station ("Your ABC" is the nauseating tagline) but it has an undeniable left bend...

There's a work conference coming up soon and I've just found out there's going to be a discussion on gender issues. I work for a totally captured organisation and the head of department will definitely go on about 'transphobia' being unacceptable.

I'm dreading it so much that I'm planning to take the day off sick now. I can't face the thought of the forced indoctrination presentation and only one acceptable view being allowed. Cowardly I know but I'd be on my own being shot down if I voiced any dissent from the accepted narrative and then my colleagues would turn against me.

Sometimes you have to pick your battles.

We all need to earn a living, and often the only thing you can do is keep your head down and provide quiet support for anyone else who falls foul of the system. If there was a chance of doing a Sandie Peggie-type takedown of your organisation, then you could go for it, but these things are few and far between. Better to hold your tongue and just get on with things.

ETA - you look like you're running a bit of a temperature to me. Best have a few days off - don't want everybody else to catch it. ❤
