I'm such a fundamentally... I don't know, anxious, or not content person, thanks to living my early childhood in survival mode, that I'm worried tbe emotional side of it is gonna blindside me. I really bleeping resent that for women there's always something to deal with. But maybe afterwards I'll finally be able to chill the duck out as I don't think the constant shifting hormones of existing as a woman help when you're generally an off-kilter sort of person. It was a particularly bad time for me as I'd lost my mum 2 months before I had a hysterectomy. I did get a bit of support from the older women at work but found that a lot of people got weird when the subject came up.
I had no idea about the emotional part of it, I just thought you got a bit hot and had no period. Silly on my part but it's such a huge of a woman's life and there is little to no information about the real impact it has on some of us. I felt like my personality changed overnight.
The good thing is that one of my younger friends is starting to go through menopause now and we've had some long conversations where I've been able to reassure her and give her some advice on how to cope. It's a great feeling to pass on some knowledge and be there for my friend, she's a Terf and GC (I only found out this year) so it's brought another aspect to our friendship.
I feel like Sam in Quantum Leap. Every month, I hope that I've heard the last of my menstrual cycle, and that this will be the leap home. The idea of menopause itself doesn't scare me, I've rationalised it as my body being given back to me as something that is mine alone. It's the process that's unpleasant.I'm such a fundamentally... These are such uniquely female experiences. No man can ever comprehend the experience of being female. They don't even have the tools to be able to start since they don't want to engage with women on any meaningful level. They either want to duck us or be us.
This thread is such a godsend though. I wish we all lived in the vicinity of a nice cafe and could meet for a brew and a rant![]()
in the throes of peri and while it has been a head duck, as someone who has felt similar to you all her life I finally feel more like me than ever before and as PPs have said give so much less of a rit. Just to give you some hope xI'm such a fundamentally... This just made me laugh so much, because I instantly pictured a squeaky-voiced, bum-fluffed, 5’2” TIF in a power suit trying to be Alan SugarI find it interesting how TIMs all want to be girls, rather than women, and TIFs want to be boys, rather than mature men, even though mature men still hold a lot of power in society.
There wouldn't be anything transgressive about wearing a dress if he was actually a woman, would there! Absolute fuckwits.Oh for duck sake![]()
Nicola Sturgeon has come out as non-binary?
This is what we want! All the non coolest people alive - Rishi Sunack! Ed Sheeran! Alan Titchmarsh! This whole stupid movement could be dead on its a by Christmas.
* info from my husband, who’s probably got it wrong. As you were…
I sometimes come across videos of TIFs shirtless or in cowboy gear trying to be sexy on Instagram and it's like, you're not even tall enough to go on the rides at Alton Towers pet, pack it in.This just made me laugh so much, because I instantly pictured a squeaky-voiced, bum-fluffed, 5’2” TIF in a power suit trying to be Alan Sugar![]()
It boils my bleeping piss how many articles I read about MALE cranks and onces and they're being called "she" throughout. Find me a news article about a female criminal who has done anything resembling this.Brave and stunning and in no way crazier than a box of frogs on bad speed.

3D printed? How is it even possible to have a chin that big?
Interesting how the writer "wouldn't have minded a [TIM] fitting her daughters bra"A much better lesson would be to teach her daughter just because she doesn't have a boundary doesn't mean other people don't have that boundary and its perfectly ok for someone not to be comfortable with something even if you are. Like I'm sure the daughter doesn't mind men not related to her to see her hair, does that mean that other women shouldn't be allowed to cover their hair?
We've gone from my body my choice back to this.
vegan cats come to mindGenuine question and not baiting. How on earth can a 2 year old know they are 'in the wrong body'? Surely that's social transitioning and parental input? I do not see bow it is humanly possible that a 2 year old can have such awareness. I mean, he might have preferred pink to blue as a colour but that's pretty meaningless per se.
If men had to go to department stores and be fitted for their boxer shorts a by other men getting up close and personal with a tape measure around their nutsack then this sort of tit wouldn't happenI had a bra fitted by Sadie aeons ago. My mum, my gran & I ventured all the way to Consett (I think). It was actually a really lovely experience: lots of no-nonsense women who all understood the tit women have to put up with, just getting on with the vagaries of managing a female body.
Funnily enough, I was thinking about Sadie a few days ago in light of the M&S debacle, and how she’d be outraged at this. No AGP weirdo would dare go within ten feet of her.
