One of my friends told me that gender roles need to be reestablished so they can break them again as we didn't do a great job of it in the 80s and 90s.

And complaining of terf vitriol.

I will die on this hill protecting women's rights and children being pumped full of chemicals.
It's bleeping disgusting and abhorrent what's been done to some kids in all of this . Child abuse.

Do the TRA’s supporters not realise these skinwalkers still have their penises? They are not full transsexuals & have no intention of being mutilated. They are not women & never will be they are simply men with fake breasts & laser hair removal (dressing badly). They are not dolls & this pandering needs to stop. They need exposed for what they are nasty misogynistic AGP’s.

It would not necessarily have been transgender back then or gender identity but I know as a 2 year old she used to cry to be a girl and tell her parents she was a girl and when she got older she used to tell her parents she was a girl on the inside. She was diagnosed with Gender Dysmorphia at 16. I’m not sure if this any different to generic transgender but apparently it’s something along the lines the brain is wired to be that of the opposite gender. I’m not 100% sure but I know she had to go to a lot of clinic and specialist appointments in London.

Of course she didn’t know back then, her parents dismissed it. I believe it was probably made worse as her dad was a burley bloke, and disowned her at 14 when she announced she trans. Her parents split up as her mother stood by her and her dad spent the best part of 14 years attempting to make “him” more masculine.

But her mam has said the signs were there from the age of 2 with some of the things she would say.

Mental really, i always wanted to a boy grown up because i hated getting my hair brushed, wanted to pee standing up and not wearing a skirt for school. I was not masculine at all. But he was allegedly very feminine as a younger child.

whilst the signs may have been there, fair play to her mother she was not allowed to do anything to her body until she was a legal adult. If hormones were Available back then for her as a child she categorically would not have been allowed them.

I can say, she is an advocate to ensure that nothing is given to mutilate a child’s body until they’re 18. She is also an advocate for this not to be promoted or pushed in schools. For example the Jonathan Joley and what he has done with Edie.

With the greatest of respect, a 2 year old might cry and say they want to be the opposite sex but they will also claim to be a unicorn or Superman. It is socialisation and I do not believe that children have the mental capacity or proper understanding of gender 'norms'.

I was listening to the radio again this morning and it was interesting that when it was put to callers who thought this poor darling assistant only doing his job, that he was still a man and how would you feel if you came out of your women's toilet cubicle and there was a man standing at the sink washing his hands? Some callers actually pondered it and then thought differently about it.
Why is is that because a man is wearing a skirt he becomes safe all of a sudden and allowed a free pass?! I don't think some of the #bekind lot have actually gave the issue enough thought. As for the men that believe men should be allowed in woman only places, they are mysogenists and/or predators.

I am so sick of men and the disgusting tit they get away with. And the women who enable them tbh. My therapist is on break for a month so am going to spoiler an overshare about something that happened when I went home this weekend - it’s gross and uncomfortable which is exactly how I feel right now.

Chiz I'm so sorry that you experienced this, and that your GF is still being gross with his dodgy boundaries and yuk behaviour.

Exposing children to pornographic material is child abuse. At 15 you were a child. It is something that now e.g. healthcare workers would have to report as a safeguarding issue.

I'm saying this not to distress you further, but to say that you are completely right that his behaviour is gross and abusive. And I'm glad that you were able to share it - getting it "out there" so it's outside of your body/mind can give some distance away from what he's doing.

Himdia being exposed. Woman stands up against a TIM, and along come the insults and accusations. “Destroying”, Only doing her job” and of course “Transphobe”.
Summed up perfectly, denial, victimhood and rage.
Im actually disgusted by those who can’t see anything wrong with this. I know how I’d have felt at that age, self conscious, embarrassed and I would not have been comfortable even with a female member of staff.
Himdia is permanently enraged because he is a man and can therefore never be a woman. He actually probably makes some people realise what a load of nonsense the idea that a man can become a woman and vice versa, is. Imagine spending all your time ranting in your car.

Oh I just saw from a post above, he actually got out of the car 😉 I can't listen to his rantings anyway. I'm still angry at how he was allowed to behave especially towards Amanda Barrie in CBB - with no repercussions. I gave up watching it. 🤬

This M&S tit is vile. I can’t help thinking what Sadie the Bra Lady would think of it all (one for the NE clan, she used to have ads at the cinema RIP Odeon)
Thanks for the memories Van! I had my only "proper" bra fitting with Sadie the Bra Lady - in her Consett branch I think. And I went to the Odeon down by the fire station the first week I arrived in Newcastle, at the age of 17, back in the 1980s! :)

This just came up on my FYP. It doesn’t sound like the brother says he identifies as a woman (yet!) but this has so many traits of that community and I expect it’s only a matter of time. And this comment sums it up. It reminds me of the husbands who make themselves as similar to their wives as possible, and I’m sure there are TIMs that have tried to take on their sister’s appearance too.

It was pretty cool 😁. It must have been around 20 years ago now. I might visit one of her shops and get measured again, I’m in desperate need of some new boob hammocks!

I just found this article; she definitely gets how important it is for women to feel comfortable, and that that doesn’t happen with men present:

‘She said: "Our customers will not sit and be fitted up while men are on the premises. Even though they would not be able to see them, they would hear them and would not be comfortable."’

Thank you for this! I went to M+S this week to try on bras (their sizings are . . . inconsistent!) and there was a bloke sitting inside the entrance to the changing rooms. I assume he was waiting for someone, but it seemed wrong for the assistant to allow him to be there. Fine, men might need to sit down, but they don't need to sit INSIDE the women's lingerie changing room!

You take that back, @VC10! I think you'll find India is the trans Nelson Mandela or Princess Di!

Nelson Mandela was in prison for 27 years. There's still time for him to equal Nelson's record

Mildly refreshing moment has just occurred - booking an MRI scan for self and Mr Mice (part of the Biobank project) and I had to go through a list ion questions and the lad booking the appointment said "A couple of questions just for the WOMEN involved in the project . . . " and I got a warm, rosy glow. Hadn't asked how we identified or anything.

Sanity in some areas anyway (though only a bit of sanity, because one of the questions was could I be pregnant, and another did I have an IUD etc. I'm 72 . . . :ROFLMAO:

A woman would NOT do this! (and if they did they'd be likely to end up on a Mumnet AIBU thread)
WTF, wearing a wedding dress to someone else's wedding!?!

Exactly!
It's one of the many many things they and their supporters cannot explain. Why do men pretending to be women need to use the women's facilities because the men's facilities are too dangerous? Yet women are not supposed to feel threatened at all by the fact that a man can just dress in women's clothes and arrive into women's changing rooms, toilets and the rest?

Can't the men be told to BE KIND 🤢 to the man in the dress? Most likely men he has shared such facilities with, for years, eg in a work or sports team situation...

No wonder they shout us down, say NO DEBATE, and piss on the streets to prove... er ... that they are MEN. 🙄
