Everyone has already given great advice. I’d just add that a distant relative of mine became rabidly anti vax and disowned her Mum. A slightly similar situation. With hindsight, I can see some things went well and done less so. The Mum was advised to not take it personally and to send a calm, sensible letter laying out her views and her love for her daughter then not getting involved and keeping the relationship slightly at arm’s length. She came around in the end but I think the Mum ruined things by going on about wanting an apology for her daughter’s behaviour.

50 years ago teenagers were being conscripted and sent off to a doomed war to witness unimaginable horror and violence, and hundreds of thousands were killed or maimed. The average life expectancy of a pilot in Vietnam was something like 30 days from arrival.
Now we've got kids crying online and traumatised because someone (correctly) referred to them as the pronoun that matches their sex.
We are living in the easiest, most privileged of times in human history, and I'm sure the idleness has created as many problems as it's solved.
Not that I'm suggesting we send kids to war. I'm a woman and a feminist, and war is a male pursuit, I just think there are some people who've had it far too easy for far too long and their resilience is none existent as a consequence.

If this person passed as well as they're trying to claim then step 1 likely would have been a pregnancy test, followed by an ultrasound to make sure it wasn't an ectopic or twisted fallopians etc. I've never heard of a Dr going straight to a pelvic exam.

Yeah you’re spot on. When I had a really bad bout of IBS and didn’t know what it was, I had a pregnancy test and then an ultrasound. They didn’t give me an internal at all.

I've had a lot of issues with my ex-reproductive organs and never had a doctor visually check my tina first off, that's not where cramps originate. I've never been to Emergency with cramps either, I'd take a period-specific analgesic and get the duck on with my day like pretty much every other woman.

there's another group, often younger men, who want to roll around in front of their camera showing us how much pain they're in.I doubt they even understand that the period is the end point of a process that takes roughly 28 days* - the clue is in the phrase "menstrual cycle". We don't magically conjure up a period out of nowhere. They never seem to appropriate any of the other parts of the cycle, do they?
It's just a mockery of what we really experience.
*My periods were more like "meh - we'll have a period when we feel like it, 28 days, 35 days...56 days if we want".
