Not many women will confront a mentally ill man in a dress in a public loo, particularly if they're on their own. Most of us are afraid of them.I've never known a government full of such obviously thick MPs. It's actually shocking. Liars and nest-featherers, sure, but this government seems to be full of people who are intellectually not capable being in a position of power. It's embarassing.

Ah that old chestnut of the ruling being so confusing. Funnily enough it isn't at all confusing to anyone apart from the pro trans lobby. Everybody else can grasp it quite easily.
There are even handy pictures on toilets to simplify it. Not sure what's so confusing when a three year old can identify their correct toilet to use.
And strange how there was no hesitation whatsoever when it came to taking away women's rights and women's spaces. Women are genuinely fearful for their safety. We have heard of instances of girls trying to avoid using toilets for a whole day at school. But none of that matters, of course.
Nope it's all about the imaginary transwomen ie men who are afraid to use toilet facilities. If I met the guy I saw a while back on the street, in a toilet or changing room, who was twice my size, I most certainly wouldn't be saying a word to him.
As for that guy with the fantasy about the doctor looking at what is left of his genitals, give me strength. As has been pointed out, that is most definitely NOT what would happen if an actual woman went to a doctor or to A&E with cramps. Disgusting idiot.
I wouldn’t use unisex toilets with the exception of airplanes as you are effectively trapped in a flying tin can so needs must. Even then I’ve held on to the point of bursting with some flights. Nothing is ever designed with women and girls in mind. Toilets are always too cramped & there are never enough. So they/he/whatever pronoun they want to use but definitely not female can go & use their birthright toilets. It’s very simple, you can pee standing up & have a pen then you are in the male toilets.
I would never challenge a loon in the toilets. I would just GTFO as soon as I could. Similarly in a changing room in a gym or shop, I would just not go there if they let men into my space.

I was in Spoons in Leeds earlier this week and there was a loon in the ladies, I wasn't scared of him but I didn’t say anything as it was right before a Mika gig so very alphabetty crowd.
I let him leave first though, I didn’t want him behind me all the way up the stairs.
There was also a non binary next to me the whole gig with a face like thunder, no idea why she bothered going, everyone else was dancing and having fun, she also had a haircut that looked like her drunk pal had tried to give her a Billy Ray Cyrus do.

Exactly. The problem with politics and power is good hearted and clever people tend to get thrown under the bus in party politics long before they ever get to reach the top/ be more influential. The ones who do stay the time have to be really resilient and tough, and this kind of structure favours those who are more likely to scheme and play power games etc. It's not just a job but a lifestyle, and I wager good honest folk end up prioritising their own family's needs etc so don't make it into the more influential positions. Politics is also full of a lot of egos and back scratchers. I wouldn't last 5 mins, my anxiety would be too high. And alas this is how we end up with people like Starmer in power.
Stella Creasy claims to have spoken to multiple constituents who have been distressed about using the toilet. Sorry, her constituency is a five minute drive away from me. Walthamstow is not exactly a hotbed trans activity, and is a fairly Muslim-heavy area, too. She's talking out of her ar$e.
Yes, it's all very much game playing. I'm in the public sector and was quite ambitious before I joined, but if you're a normal, decent person with integrity you'll soon have any ambition to progress among people making cynical manoeuvres (mostly to keep themselves in their cushy jobs long enough to collect their pension) beaten out of you.
I've always voted Labour but I look at them now and I think, looking back at the awful Conservative governments we've had, they were greedy, cynical and determined to shift wealth from the country to themselves and their friends, but at least they were educated and could (mostly) conduct themselves like they had a brain in their heads (maybe with the exception of the covid-era lot). Labour are just embarassing. I don't want to see working class people in government if they're just going to perpetuate the idea that we're all uneducated thick bleeps who don't know the difference between a man and a woman.
At the very lest I'd imagine at least half her constituents are female. Had she asked them what they think? But who cares, they're only women.
