I’m talking about the vibe and demographic of most swimmers there (mainly middle aged, middle class north London women who seek out purportedly single sex spaces… hardly TRA types) rather than the few wazzocks from City of London Corp making the decisions about trans inclusion for whatever bureaucratic / financial / pandering reason. Haven’t read the article but it got me wondering about Esther Freud’s influence. She presumably lives in Hampstead and it’s the sort of place Freud money/influence would go to.It's not TERF'y, if it was then they would have won the vote to prevent TiM swimming there.
The regular women who are on the pond association have no say in the inclusion policy. I can guarantee we wouldn’t be in this mess if they did.
