It’s such a cynical and badly executed attempt at diversity and inclusion. Someone has obviously suggested “not being heteronormative” so here they’ve recruited two models to pretend that they’re a les couple. Someone has obviously said that one of them needs to wear a trouser suit, because that’s how it usually works with lesbians isn’t it? And if one of them can be ethnically ambiguous, that ticks the mixed race couple box too

What is the point of having a mens pond, a ladies pond and a mixed pond at Hampstead, when all appear to be a free for all, open to anyone.
The whole purpose of a mixed pond was for anyone to use it, so there is no reason for anyone other than men and women to be in their designated ponds.

The ladies pond from my experience has always felt quite terf-y. One of my first GC conversations was with an older woman who approached me to ask my opinion on trans inclusion while I was sunbathing there several years ago.
The vibe there is … heavily feminine but not remotely woke or permissive. There’s an unexpected amount of rules and etiquette enforced by the lifeguards (who are lovely but quite austere) and a big group of regulars - it’s easy to feel like you’re stepping on toes. I’ve never encountered a TIM there, never heard or read about it - genuinely I cannot imagine it happening. I don’t think they would get the fetishistic feeling of inclusion they desperately want.
Which is why all this media stuff is pissing me off… from my perspective it is not an active issue and I don’t want it to become one.

the gays just want to exist and have the same rights as everyone else which thank goodness they have. I live next to a gay couple. They’re amazing people who don’t support the trans agenda. We’ve had many an interesting conversation.

I’m too old for this… can’t wrap my head around it. What a slap in the face for any cancer survivors. The trans/non-binary balls is a mental delusion/illness and for some narcissistic personality disorder. Cancer is a bloody disease!!! A real one, not the fake make believe rit. Good grief.
