This is a bit OT but I have to complain about this daft ad.

It’s such a cynical and badly executed attempt at diversity and inclusion. Someone has obviously suggested “not being heteronormative” so here they’ve recruited two models to pretend that they’re a les couple. Someone has obviously said that one of them needs to wear a trouser suit, because that’s how it usually works with lesbians isn’t it? And if one of them can be ethnically ambiguous, that ticks the mixed race couple box too

So they're kind of continuing to break the law, by providing two mixed-sex places plus a single-sex place for the men. They have to either change the women's to single-sex only (kick the men out) or make the men's mixed-sex too.

No, I don't wish actual harm to any women either - but I agree and think the only way some of them will wake up is if they have a near miss* and realise how serious the situation could have become.

*In this case maybe a better phrase is "a near mister."

I’m getting really sick of the ‘butch-presenting lesbians being challenged in the women’s toilets’ bull. This is such a lie, how can anyone fall for it?

This is ‘Dylan’ (centre) who has been happily using the men’s and boasting that no councillor has ever challenged why she was there. They were probably too scared she’d kick up a fuss and decided they could do without the hassle.

I was just watching the BBC lunchtime news and they were talking about the new Pope’s first day in the job. The reporter decided to ask two ‘random’ people in St Peter’s Square which issues they hoped the Pope would address. Both mentioned ‘inclusivity’ was important going forward. Wouldn’t you know it, one young bloke mentioned trans people as his idea of inclusivity. I’m sure this was deliberately edited in. Surely most people would mention peace between nations and an end to violence as one of the most pressing issues the Pope could focus on.

I don't doubt you are right - this is manipulated.

I do not believe for a single moment that two randomly questioned individuals BOTH were more concerned with "inclusivity" than with any of the horrors going on in the world.

Was this question addressed at "random" to blue-haired individuals only?

Surprised didn't join the Green party, since they are down in trans numbers, what with all their trans members getting thrown out for their online threats to women, sexualised social media and let's not forget, arrests for sexual predator behaviour.

I will totally support a crowdfunder to take that p Edward Lord and the CoL to court. Because they’d lose.

When I was a student many moons ago, the ladies pond was my favourite place in summer. Me and my friends used to spend all day there, swimming and sunbathing in a totally unself conscious way.
I bet its bloody full of blokes now getting their rocks off at invading women’s spaces.

I agree. I'd like to see how a handmaiden would respond if they were on their own in toilets or changing rooms with the big hulk in a dress complete with (obligatory) scraggly hair and receding hairline, that I saw last week. I doubt they would be squeaking about being kind, somehow.

I wonder how many accessible toilets there are in Holyrood. And whether the number of visitors with disabilities have the correct provision. While they rush to install gender neutral ones.
