Bridges and his ilk caused this explosion for trampling over women's rights illegally for years, not women, not J K Rowling. By allowing this interview ITV have put a target on Rowling's back.
Wondering when leaving the house if someone will say a slur, women face misogyny and verbal assault, sexual assault every bloody day, where was the solidarity for women all these years?
Media stop needing to interview these people, police need to take action against their threats and the government need to insist the law must be followed immediately.
Doesn’t stop the misogynistic holes trying to cling on for as long as possible. I really hope the ruling gives women directly affected more confidence to take these pricks to court.

It's been a very useful exercise in working out which local businesses are more interested in pandering to the weirdos than respecting women's spaces. Quite the shitlist I'm making and will be taking my custom elsewhere.
We’ve just moved from a very studenty city to a much more suburban town with no students. We faced one horrific homophobic incident there (witnessed by a neighbour) which we reported but due to the students being posh, arrogant and entitled young men, they lied their way out of it.
This morning I was running and passed two men, younger than me (mid 40s) who were in hysterics. Although my new area is safe, my first thought was that it was regarding my running or appearance and that I was going to hear some personal comments so I sped up to pass quicker. They didn’t comment but that was my first thought.
Men don’t expect to face abuse if they pass women laughing. They assume that if they made a complaint to the police regarding a hate crime, it would be investigated properly. That is in them from a young age due to social norms, societal expectations and their own experiences. These TIM (whatever they protest) feel the same as any men. You can tell by the way they own the space they inhabit, speaking over people, expecting others to listen and push their beliefs onto everyone else.
Even in a tiny experience like this morning, where nothing much really happened, it highlighted to me just how much we needed this ruling. I’m so pleased this space is here

The photo of Zach Bridges standing next to his mum appears to have been scrubbed. He’s 6’2” (at least) and she’s about 5’. It shows what a massive bleeping unit he is. She has invested her whole life in his cycling career. He was really really good but he had an accident and it ducked his career up. And then suddenly realised he was a she and transitioned.
In p the days before he started racing against women, he raced against men but calling himself Emily. His mum has groomed him into transing. He's horrible and I hate what he’s doing to women but his mother is behind it

I did wonder because, unlike most of these Men, he was actually very competitive as a Man.
Whilst it would undeniably be a massive insult to any women thus affected, it would interesting to see what the ramifications would be if several of the top women’s places were awarded to trans women so soon after the SC ruling.
That, plus any further fallout from the protests, would be helpful sunlight.
Bit by bit, through the rest of this year, the Supreme Courts ruling will be applied here, there & everywhere......

Thing is, even if they don’t attain a high ranking place, they’ll just use it to justify how they are ‘no threat women’s sport’ and that we are making a fuss over nothing.

Is this what’s going to happen now? Organisations are just going to ignore the ruling and carry on as before (except now they have no excuse for not knowing they’re breaking the law) and nothing will be done unless women spend time, energy and money pursuing through the courts?

Once again it's jaw dropping how many people and institutions bowed down to the dangerous ideology. And imo, kids in primary school are not declaring themselves to be trans, without being greatly influenced by someone somewhere.
Well done to those parents who fought that battle. It's appalling that they had to do that.

If Bridges was complaining about all of the attention trans people had in the last week, why do they need so many days, weeks, months of visibility. Do you want to be seen or not?
