I finally managed to grab 10 mins at work to call Unison to cancel my 20 year long membership. A very nice woman answered, which was slightly annoying as I was all fired up for an argument, but she asked for my details and my reason for leaving. I told her that as a woman, I didn't feel represented by Unison, especially after the disgraceful actions of their representatives on Saturday. She sounded quite resigned and said, "I understand totally, that's no problem". I did ask that my comments be noted and passed on, and she promised to do so, but who knows 🤷🏼‍♀️. I'd love to know how many other members have left recently though, I know for sure that I'm not the only one.
I've moved jobs recently and had the opportunity to join a union (previously I've only worked in private sector). Unison was the most appropriate union for my role but I've declined to join after their recent lack of support for their women members.
I'd rather represent myself thanks as I know I can rely on me!

She makes the occasional jibe at Himdia and it's always on point and, quite frankly, funny. It doesn't even begin to touch the sides of how much he rages at her and when you realise she's had angry men threatening to grape, strangle, bomb, burn, stab and shoot her every day for over five years, I don't know how anyone can think her response has been anything other than measured and usually humorous. She is a highly prolific and successful writer; composing tweets doesn't take her very long.

If she were a man, people would be calling her reactions weak and ineffectual..
I don't disagree, and I do snort at her retorts myself. I think her whole thing thusfar has been been being calm and not getting into spats, though, which even her ardent detractors can't deny.

I urger you all to look for Intel Lady on YouTube. Her "no brainers with Rayner" will have you laughing for days. Also Carol the DEI representative for NHS England worth a watch
Thank you for the heads up! She's brilliant! 😂 😂 😂

(I love the Angela Rayner living room) 😂😂😂😂😂

Just been treated to having to listen to "Emily" Bridges on the news wanging on about how much in danger the poor defenceless TiMs are (whilst waving his big 'ol bleeping man hands around) Despite the danger faced by him, from vicious women who don't want him in their spaces, our plucky heroine is going to continue to use female spaces.
What. A. bleep.

Think yourself lucky you don't live next door to me and have to hear me roaring "Wanker" "bleeping hole" "Look at his hands! Look at his massive bleeping hands!" at random points during the evening while you're just trying to watch telly.

Your last two lines sounded like it was from a Marian Keyes book 🤣🤣

I rejected a job offer recently and I am really wishing I had taken it now after seeing what the organisation I work for has put out about the supreme court ruling last week. I am absolutey raging.

Apparently it WILL be upsetting for colleagues, not MAY be upsetting for SOME colleagues! Obviously only those who are mentally ill or perverts can access the best cancer care, biological women have to put up with these creeps on the same wards as them.

The thing is, it wasn't last weeks ruling that made the definition legal, this isn't new. Perhaps they should be more focussed on their staff/patients who they will have discriminated against by not understanding what the legal definition of a woman was until last week.

He’s basically saying he is going to wait and see what further guidance they get. i.e. we are going to wait and see if there is a way we can keep men in women’s sports lawfully. Meanwhile we will take the risk that favours men and not change anything

What further guidance do they need? Whatever happened before the trans hijack is what must happen. Can't use the excuse waiting for guidance when it's a blatant law break.

Of course he is wearing Lucy and Yak 🙄
The les philosophy person who did the 3 legged chair analogy has a partnership with them.

I’m bleeping fuming about the marathon. I think I’ve written about the time I came overall second in an ultra (a woman came overall first) and instead of us getting the first and second overall prizes, the men who came after us got them and we got first and Second Ladies prizes. Due to illness and injury, I haven’t raced since the trans thing has been an issue but I get angry AF when I run and I would be out there ranting if I knew my category had men in. I feel for all the women on Sunday who’ve put their all into their training only to have their categories trashed by men.

They need guidance on whether there’s any legal loopholes to allow mediocre males to continue cheating.
