I'm not sure if this is across the board but I work in mental health and patient's records will state their gender (M/F) and also whether or not it is the same as assigned at birth. So even if someone 'identifies' as a male/female/NB , the record will state if this matches their assigned gender (biological sex)
That contradicts this screenshot I posted earlier which says that there must be no record kept of previous identity (I’m not saying I don’t believe you at all! but this is supposed to be the PCSE process). Do you have a large % of people IDing as something other than their natal sex?
Keeping separate records of sex and gender ID is useful, for clarity, avoiding mix-ups and for understanding of a patient's situation. Having it on a record means that no-one has to ask repetitive questions either.
Hmm thats interesting maybe it depends on where the data is stored, different systems are used for different parts of the NHS so maybe that's why, as we have to get patient consent to store their data.
I wouldn't say a large % but it's mostly in young people 18-25 (no shock there!)

We need to start playing them at their own game. They refer to us as "anti-trans" so we need to start saying "anti-women" when speaking about them. Push the narrative the same way they do

It’s beyond sickening. The whole thing seems to revolve around silencing women and name calling those to don’t comply. Women’s feelings don’t seem to matter. That creep that wanted to be part of the still birth support group and the women who objected were vilified and banned says it all. That’s where we seem to be at. Sick, creepy perverted men are fawned over and accommodated over riding the feelings of women needing help and support. Not so long ago, he’d have been called out for what he was. I really hope the world wakes up to this insanity. It’s downright cruel to women.

ETA If this guy had even half a brain he would have known that it is unethical for him to have any vote on her readmittance let alone the deciding vote. Dodds is a woman from a massively privileged background who worked in academia before becoming a politician. She’s never had a proper job and bases her entire political outlook on theory not practice.

It sometimes crosses my mind too that not that long ago, men walking into women's changing areas and toilets would be escorted back out very quickly. Security called most likely, and they would eject them from the premises. How depressing that all they have to do is pretend to be women and everyone especially women are meant to bow and scrape to them.
And men are unaffected because it's never their space that is being taken over. Easy for them, and sadly some women to join in with the - 'live and let live. And it's not harming anyone.'

Sorry our policy is not to employ disabled /black/Muslim/women as we don't follow the Equalities Act in our company, we have our own policies.
