I'll join your law suit because SAME.

I'm not size 8 in my identity (I'm a 10 - at my age I think I need that bit of extra weight to protect my bones ) but I certainly identify as drop-dead gorgeous and should have everything bought and done for me because I am so wonderful. So I'll join you in your collective lawsuit, if I may.

My understandng is that many of them specifically seek out the 'zipper tit' look because they want the obvious scarring as a symbol of their struggle/suffering. Not unlike how self-harm scars are deliberately shown amongst some communities and certain personality types.

I don't know - I would hope not, because even if TiMs have a "tina" , they certainly don't have a cervix, or a womb, so it wouldn't be necessary anyway.

However, I have heard of TiMs going ballistic because no-one will give them a smear test, so . . .

I haven’t heard an nhs story of it actually happening, but it is a risk where medical records have M and F markers changed that a routine letter will go out. The pervs would find it massively ‘validating’ as well - and there are the made up stories about it on Reddit etc.

In 2017 the BMJ published a wide ranging study which showed that men who are given a blood transfusion from a woman who has previously been pregnant have a significantly increased mortality risk. This is due to the permanent hormonal changes which pregnancy causes throughout a woman's entire cellular and blood anatomy. Our blood and men's blood is NOT the same.

For this reason, changing M/F markers on medical records is unbelivably dangerous and I really hope the NHS doesn't do it.

I remember reading about this creep at the time. Absolutely foul and perverted - and for real grieving women to be banished to accommodate his fetish is beyond disgusting.

It is a mental health condition - but it's one he's glorying in! Meanwhile bereaved women, desperately trying to come to terms with the most terrible of losses, are being vilified because they find it difficult to watch this p cosplaying. What about their mental health? No-one seems to care about that. And also the other women who remain in the group - this must affect their mental health, too, even though they may be fighting to accept him.

Do they actually call trans women for smears? Not saying I don't believe it but is there actual evidence of this? Where I live at least, on the NHS website it specifically states only women born with a cervix will be invited for screening.

Yes. If you’ve changed your gender marker on your NHS records (which anyone can do), all previous record of your actual sex is expunged.

l‘ve seen TIMs showing their invitation letter on X (and crowing about getting invited for breast screening too although I shouldn’t imagine many actually go to that as it hurts like duck)

So this person has changed their gender three times, but is suing the NHS for negligence for refusing to conduct the third change which meant that they had to have the surgery in Serbia. The surgery was botched and the NHS supposedly delayed in helping to sort the mess out so is being sued for that delay as well:

I agree its a very timewasting case.... but..... It does tie in to the dreadful female healthcare and wait times on the NHS for things like endometriosis. Im sure if you talked to women who have endo, or suspected endo....which is the kind of issue this person is referring themselves to the NHS for( chronic pain in the abdomen area!) Then a 3 years wait time is average! Which isnt really good enough!

Although in this particular instance, you are left wondering why on earth someone is so unhappy with themselves and their image that they change gender so many times....it screams a mental health issue to me.

When I see some of the scar photos, I think some the surgeons must be very ducked up people who enjoy mutilating women. There’s really no other reason for so many appalling botch jobs

I hadn’t thought about it in that way before, but you’re right. You’d have to be some sort of sociopath to watch this phenomenon unfolding and your only thought being that you can exploit it for money and status.

TBH I have no idea why "being one's true authentic self" is now somehow regarded as the ideal state for humans to strive towards. It seems to me to be the pinnacle of narcissim, and likely to lead to isolation and unhappiness.

My true authentic self is lazy af, selfish and greedy. I suspect that's true of most humans. Authentic me slobs on the sofa, hoards the best chocolates in the box, feeds my dogs from the plate I'm eating from and doesn't bother to wash my hands afterwards. My authentic self is a selfish slobby antisocial cow. And it's fine to indulge in that sometimes but surely the only way to become the best and happiest person you can be is to look outwards, to seek to be of value to those around you and to wider society? Rather than looking inwards and waiting for society to benefit you, instead thinking what you can do for the benefit of others?

I think so anyway. And I'm pretty sure we used to urge children to aim to contribute to society in the round rather than behave like selfish toddlers, obsessed with and constantly seeking validation for one's authentic self (whatever the duck that is anyway, surely an adult human has many selves, I've got work me, mum me, sister me, friend me the list goes on).

Maybe that's why mental health has declined so much. We're all ruminating too much, thinking too much of our 'authentic selves' rather than looking upwards and outwards. It's like spending two weeks in your bedroom masturbating and then wondering why you feel still lonely, unfulfilled and the bedclothes stink.

The longer I'm alive I have come to the conclusion that genuinely decent guys are the minority. Take away the criminals that are caught and those that aren't, the opportunistic people, the violent abusers, the controllers, the ones that behave badly, the ones that secretly want to grape or hurt us, the everyday sexists and those that don't even comment on bad behaviour, let alone call it out and there's less than 50% left.

Sadly, I am forced to agree with you.

The sheer contempt that many men show towards women is terrifying.

This summer a young woman in shorts and T-shirt was in front of me in a charity shop waiting to be served. She was tanned but had many "healed" self-harm scars the entire length of her legs, her arms were also scarred. So sad.

Agree! If a TIF is too delusional to attend an appointment that’s on her.

Not to mention the fact that we don’t need to worry, the NHS is only to happy to alter all their messaging to appease her anyway.

In fact I’m thinking of identifying as trans before I attend my next smear test. I’ll get extra time, extra privacy, extra coddling, and maybe an emotional support plushie if I’m lucky.
