Exactly. They just seek out positions where they are trusted or seen as above the law or helping the disaffected. It's mad that society is suspicious of the strange bloke who lives on his own when the criminal could just as likely be the teacher, the vicar, the camp counsellor or the swimming teacher. Almost always men though isn't it?
Well yeah, I remember Nicola Sturgeon (I think) giving an interview supporting TRAs and she was asked about the transwoman-predator crossover and she scoffed and said something to the effect of, predators will never go to the trouble of dressing in womens clothes and taking oestrogen to get into women's only spaces, they'll just walk in there - so it's just a moral panic and not true that predators might pretend to be trans to get access - because it would be too much of a faff.

I saw this argument employed a lot in the early 2020s. And I'm like bitch, predators will go through theology school and ordination, they'll go through medical school, they'll do teacher training, join charities and do marathons, all with the aim of getting access to victims. Like, we KNOW this. So if predators are willing to go through med school to get access, then throwing on a dress and changing their pronouns is a walk in the park in comparison!

I that’s spot on.

But those safeguards go out the window when it comes to trans.
They really do and it's sad that the most mentally vulnerable children (which trans-identified kids are) are actually the least protected in our society because we've got so open minded that child protection concerns flew out the window.

I've sat through yet another training session at work, where a hugely competent, highly qualified, male medical professional spent a whole morning talking about "pregnant people".
I am so done with this shit. I'm a few years away from retirement, and I'm trying to keep my big mouth shut until then, but to be honest, I'm finding it so difficult. If this Supreme Court judgement goes our way, I might just start making a bit more noise at work. I've noticed a few more pronouns in the email signatures, the higher-ups are banging on about being "inclusive". No-one I know at work seriously believes in this rubbish, we work with and for women. Biological women. If a TIM rocked up at my workplace expecting to see a doctor, we'd call the police. All of our patients are women, no exceptions.
"Pregnant people"? Get the fuck out of here 😡😡😡

I am so angry. I am part of a women’s network for the local authority I work for. Earlier this week a post was put up about white ribbon day. After a few posts it’s moved from women to trans women and their safety. I wish I could add some screen shots of the chat.
So far the bingo card includes, Michael phelps who doesn’t produce lactic acid and no one minded him competing, I’m a man Khelif, the word cis being used multiple times, trans women shouldn’t have to use men’s bathroom, men abuse without needing to put a dress on, social media is brain washing those with GC beliefs, etc etc.

I’m to scared to even like emoji the couple of posts which are GC, or even privately message the lady who has bravely posted them.

Edited to add, the posters who are spouting trans rubbish have a rainbow around their teams pic and the other woman has a very strong jawline.

Gender ideology, TWAW and all that just have never made sense to me, because it’s all pretend. If you’re born a man, you can’t suddenly declare you are a woman, and you magically become one. Chop off your bits, and you’re a castrated man. Take female hormones, and you’re a man taking chemicals that are alien to your body. You’re still a man.
It’s like claiming to feel like a woman. Women aren’t all one group of like thinking clones. I only know what it feels like to be me, I don’t know how it feels to be anyone else and every one of us has our own thoughts, likes, dislikes and life experience.
I think a lot of the reason the likes of Himdia and co are so aggressive and confrontational is not only typical male entitlement but because every GC comment must deep down remind them that they can never really be what they claim they are. They have to keep pushing the pretence.

You can really see how Nazi Germany took hold can't you? most people either don't notice, don't care, don't understand or feel too intimidated to pushback publicly or misunderstood or worse when they do.

I try and remind myself to not hate men but they do make it so fucking hard sometimes
The amount of comments 'He's not doing anything illegal!' and 'Maybe he has a condition that makes him behave that way'

Give. Me. Fucking. Strength.

No one said he was doing anything illegal. He's clearly being a bullying dickhead and trying to intimidate those women.

It's not women's jobs to figure what cOnDiTiOn a man has that makes him behave like this and accommodate him. If he's incapable of behaving in an acceptable way in public then maybe HE should modify HIS behaviour and STAY AT HOME until he can do this. Fuck him and fuck the men and women defending him.

Luxury beliefs innit. People like Kirsty, Mary Beard, Emma Watson, Caitlin Moran, Sandi Toksvig etc are able to be pro trans or at least make a big fuss about being neutral (because the hEaT oF tHe dEbAtE is scarry guyzzzz!) because they've always been too privileged to need to think about the fundamental physical and psychosocial differences between men and women.

Working class, marginalised and socioeconomically disadvataged women are more likely to be harmed by TRAs because they're more likely to be in shared housing, manual jobs, caring jobs, prisons and refuges.

Peopple like Kirsty really are the epitome of privilege and should really have the humility to listen to others who are not.

However it does once again make me weak with admiration for JKR. She coulda kept her mouth shut and continued to enjoy the love of the bien pensant and fashionable society. But she went to bat for vulnerable women. That is a true feminist.

Mary Beard? I would have expected better from her, very disappointing.

JKR is an angel, she should be given a Damehood at the very least. She has never been scared to voice her op[inions and yes, she is also very privileged and wealthy, but unlike Kirsty cunting Allsopp, made her money through talent and hard graft and not just by being born into wealth. I wouldn't be at all surprised if one of her sons (Allsopps) is afflicted with the trans contagion. She just doesn't get that women and girls need their own spaces and men, no matter how they identify, should not be allowed in. I honestly cannot wait for the house of cards to come tumbling down soon, people seem to be slowly waking up to the absurdity of it all. & what cunts like Allsopp conveniently ignore is the TRA's who wear 'kill Terfs' t shirts and throw piss at feminists because they say men cannot become women. But hey BE KIND eh? Fuck off. & when you've fucked off, fuck off again ad infinitum.

yep I find a lot of churches spout inclusivity until you try and get a pram up the steps and there’s no ramp (yes I realise a lot of them are listed but a non permanent fixture) or they’ve only got the narrow door unlocked so you can’t get in

other smaller local maternity wards are closed due to lack of staff so my maternity one - the big one - was a fuckjng car park when I gave birth and I was waiting in a queue in induction bay for a labour spot and I’m sure that contributed to my difficulty labour and delivery with multiple Interventins at the end.
But not we need to waste a lot of time and energy for twats like Freddy not being called a mother that thousands of pregnant women are experiencing traumatic births
So true. I had a relatively good experience with my first born. Second child was after everything was reworded for the “birthing people”.
There were no portable monitors available so I was labouring while unable to move off the bed. After 12 hours there were no anaesthetists available so I couldn’t have the pain relief I asked for.
I was in labour too long and baby needed resuscitating. No cots were available so my baby had to sleep on the resus table.
The staff were amazing but they just didn’t have the equipment they needed.

But I’m glad we all got renamed as birthing people to appease a minority. 🙄

I’ve been looking back over past selections for the BBC 100 women series since its inception in 2013. We’ve been gaslit pretty much since the outset, with drag queen Conchita Wurst being one of the people on the 2014 list. In 2016, it included ‘transgender actor’ Seyhan Arman whose ‘work focuses on improving the rights of trans people in Turkey’. In this clip he is talking about growing his hair and having silicon breasts and the need for trans children to have an ‘older sister to look up to’ - so nothing to do with women

In 2017, dancer and tv star Jin Xing was on the list. Jin Xing was the first transgender woman in China to receive government approval for gender reassignment. Obviously, there were no female dancers who could have been chosen instead.

In 2019, Malaysian transgender activist Nisha Ayub was added to the list, with the BBC highlighting the fact that he was sent to a male prison for breaking Sharia law which prohibits "a male person wearing women's attire or posing as a woman in a public space.”

Since then, I think there’s been at least one man on the list every year because there simply aren’t enough women in the world who have achieved anything notable.

Just been listening on Radio 4 to an interview with Gisèle Pelicot’s lawyer. He was asked why he thinks the rapists did this and he said that they viewed women as just a body to treat as an object and to derive pleasure from, but nothing else. They viewed an unconscious woman as an object they could use for pleasure. It’s chilling but is reflected, in various levels of intensity, throughout society. Will this ever change?

You cannot point out hypocrisy to a leftist man. They cannot compute it within themselves and get really nasty. The right will shrug, well of course it’s nice to have a theory of a minimum wage but one does need a cheaper housekeeper these days. As if you are stupid to not be a hypocrite like them. Both are shit, the left will attack you for pointing it out to them.

After living in Japan in the late 90s and seeing the truly disturbing amine porn you could buy at the 7/11 and read on the train - I am fairly shocked it’s considered family friendly entertainment over here now.
Agree. And actually I think it's a problem on the far left more generally. I've thought this for a long time but never really put it into words, but it's something like: very leftwing people often seem to think that because they're progressive and 'on the right side of history', that means they're morally superior and sort of gives them carte blanche to act like shits to people in their actual lives? As long as they're attending the right protest marches and espousing the right causes on Twitter? Yeah something like that.

Yeah Japan is crazy, schoolgirl porn easily available in the 7/11s and duvets with silicone boobs and genitals on them sold openly in shops. But then, the culture is very conservative. But then you get something like poor Junko Furuta, where loads of people including the perp's MOTHER knew what was going on but didn't intervene cos somehow she deserved it.

I think it's instructive for women to remember just how much we are hated and oppressed in so many countries around the world. It's easy to forget cos britain is streets ahead of a good 80% of the rest of the world when it comes to women's rights and place in the culture. It's easy to get complacant. But we are not the norm.

Why is the debate always 'what is a woman?' and not the other way round? It's almost like trans men don't care to diminish what a man is to suit them but transwomen need to diminish what a woman is.

You know if only they had listened to the women about our warnings around Prick News. We could see the lack of boundaries, over sexualisation and hatred of women from a mile off.

I actually think its very brave of the employees to speak out, given the speed at which their lot turn on people they perceive to be speaking against the status quo.

You are remembering correctly. Ravelry had a complete meltdown over this in around…2017/2018 maybe? One of the founders transitioned IIRC and obviously that meant that all yarn lovers immediately had to get on board with trans activism in their crochet. Absolute scenes.
See this is why trans identified people are so insufferable. They demand not just tolerance but an enthusiastic adopt of all their stupid magical beliefs. It's like, OK Kevin so you've started wearing dresses and fishnets, I won't be actively rude to you I'll just be distantly polite and make an effort to interact with you as little as possible whilst also not actively abusing you.

Kevin: oH mY gAwDDD i'M bEiNg gEnoCiDeD!!!!! Guys, guys, there's a witch here! Burn herrrrrrrrrr!!!

Imo there is a clear correlation between the unfettered use of social media by minors, the collapse of mental health services and the utter failing of social care services to identify, intervene and follow up with cases of abuse and neglect.

Imagine all the money being pumped into LGBTQ buses, rainbow zebra crossings, experimental and unconscionable genital surgeries (which btw, it always makes me laugh that us "Terfs" are called Nazis when butchering bodies in experimental surgeries was definitely a Nazi thing) being spent on trauma counselling etc.

Because that would mean accepting that they sold their son a lie, and have absolutely destroyed his body - and entire life - in the process.
It’s Helen Joyce’s point isn’t it? They can’t possibly admit to themselves thar they have destroyed their own child’s life. Wilfully and deliberately and paid out thousands to do it
