This is a bit of a rant, just to get it off my chest. I'm so sick of seeing women pander to these blokes. I'm a recovering alcoholic and I'm part of a Facebook group exclusively for women in recovery. This bloody bloke/ stunning and brave trans woman (🙄) posts a smug little selfie on a daily basis, and the comments are absolutely unbelievable.

All the actual women who post might get a handful of likes and even less comments. This bloke will literally get hundreds and hundreds of likes and comments, all fawning over him and going out of their way to make sure he knows they see him as a woman. "You go girl!" "Omg your curls are AMAZING, sister!" "Love seeing other women doing well!" "That blouse is AMAZING on you!" "Girl, I wish I had your hair!" and so on and so on. It's actually embarrassing to see them all falling all over themselves to heap relentless praise on him, especially considering they don't bother to show anywhere near that level of support to actual women. One of them posted she'd been sober for 10 years today, and got 8 likes and about two comments ffs. Yet this bloke shouldn't even be in the group in the first place, doesn't take his sobriety seriously so we get daily "sober for x amount of days" until around a month, when he won't post for a few weeks and then we get "Sober for a day today!", never bothers to respond to anyone's over the top supportive comments, and surprise surprise doesn't ever comment on other people's posts offering support to anyone else. Yet another example of a bloke using a women's space to validate his "girlness" and stroke his own ego.

I'm so sick of seeing women do this to ourselves. Why are we so desperate to fall at the feet of these men, at the complete detriment to other women, who we don't even offer a fraction of the support to.

While I'm ranting, I'm also sick to death of women seeing drag queens and gleefully exclaiming "He looks better in a dress than me!" "I wish I had legs like that!" Why are we so desperate to tell men they're better than us, and better at being us?

Thanks, I feel better now 😂
I feel complete and utter rage on your behalf. What the fuck is he doing in there and why do the admins allow it?! I'd be sorely tempted to do an anonymous post or maybe message one of the admins privately about this.

Anyway, in brighter news, huge congratulations on your continuing sobriety ❤

Genuine question, what can I do? My son rightly called me out recently “you’re making no difference Mother, all you do is rant online and buy a few stickers” Gee thanks son 🫣😭
I talk about the issue as often as I can, in different social groups (family / friends / acquaintances) even if I’m not sure how the people I’m with will react. It’s surprising how many aren’t really aware of the impact of gender ideology on women, children and LGB people; how it’s infiltrating schools, the media and public institutions. Many don’t see beyond a flag flying showing solidarity with a ‘minority’ group.

The other day, I met up with an acquaintance I see about twice a year as our sons were friends in primary school. I was saying how I’m still on the school’s email list so get the weekly newsletter and how I’ve noticed books like Grandad’s Pride (by Harry Woodgate, they/them) depicting characters with ‘top surgery’ scars and men in bondage gear, are recommended for infants. She’d never heard of it, so I explained and she was horrified. It happens that she is friends with one of the SLT, who she said would be deeply shocked if she realised such books were being recommended, so will mention it when she sees her. This person also works in a (different) school so will now be keeping an eye out for similar books there.

I think the more people who are informed about the negative consequences of gender ideology, the better. They will then have the opportunity to talk to their own social groups and so more people will be peaked. I’ve also come across people who think it’s gay people pushing this agenda due to the false teaming of the rest of the alphabet with LGB, so I think it’s important to point out that the ideology has nothing to do with LGB, who simply wanted equal rights on a par with heterosexuals, and that many gay people want nothing to do with GI.

Being deemed a 'pick me' girl (i.e. one that seeks male attention and so on) is one of the worst insults in my daughter's friendship group. She's gone from being friends with a girl who presented as a boy (and getting furious with me if I said 'she') to openly calling out this cult. Long may it continue.

Elon’s opening up a bit now - there’s a clip of an interview with Jordan Peterson on Twitter, not sure if there’s more somewhere.
I really hope this is too big to ignore now.

His son no longer talks to Elon as he has been swallowed up by the cult. I'm glad that he's now speaking out seeing what has happened to his son.

I wonder if the Tennants would be so enthusiastic if their son wanted drugs and operations. Its easy enough to be an 'ally' when your son wants to wear daft clothes and pick a non binary name because you're just indulging a phase, not something irreversible.

I'm not wishing to make any light of suicide, but are trans so delicate or unbalanced that being called a "wrong pronoun" or wrong name is enough to push them to suicide? I am sure that no person who has those thoughts takes them lightly but why is it always the trans group that must be handled with kid gloves? If the wrong pronoun is indeed enough to push them over the edge then surely that suggests there are deeper issues there?

I agree on the Olympics Opening Ceremony. “Diversity” is men with beards wearing women’s clothes… non merci.

There is some good news though…

Congratulations and well done to everyone who achieved this!!

Even if a person later “changes legal gender”, a birth certificate should never be altered. This is simple lying on official documents.
If we're changing birth certificates, I want one that says I was born earlier, so that I can claim my state retirement pension. I assume that won't be a problem?

Real crime thread full of misogyny again. Somehow people are taking offence to a discussion around men being dangerous, in a thread literally discussing dangerous, violent crimes that have been carried out by men in the last 24 hours, because it's alienating to the good men. Fuck off.

Looking like roses are now a symbol of the TRA community...

Isn't everything that to normal people has always been associated with goodness these days?

Why the hell they can't find their own symbols (may I suggest Giant Hogweed) instead of appropriating everyone else's is beyond me.

Oh! I forgot! It's because it is "transpeople" throughout history who have been the only ones who have ever fought for goodness, inclusion and truth despite the evil terfs crushing them underfoot and stealing their pretty flowers.

This would be laughable if it wasn't so serious. They are claiming (as fact) that famous historical people were trans, that trans have always been loved and recognised and accepted (until recently, when the evil terfs brutally cast them aside and wrote them out of history), that this symbol, that symbol and the other symbol is really a supportive one for trans and everybody knows that but it has been hidden by evil terfs, that without trans people we'd never have had any progress at all etc.

And people support this shyte!
I love the notion that transpeople have historically existed. Oh aye I'm sure during the witch trails, Big Geoff from the tannery was adamant that he live his authentic life, donned a hemp dress insisting everyone call him Marjorie and demanded to be hanged like all the other witches.

I'm sure it's just coincidence that at the very time in history that women start speaking up about equality and things start looking a bit better for them, suddenly men want to be women (see also: the male menopause <<grrr>>)

We’re at an odd point in time where most people don’t truly believe this rubbish eg TWAW (especially if they trouble themselves to think about it in any depth) but they are unwilling or unable to say so. An example, my 16 year old son brought up the subject and said he and his friends had discussed it privately and agreed it was indeed nonsense. I asked him why the need for private discussion and he said they wouldn’t dare to say so at school as they would be punished, and it wouldn’t matter if they stated a protected belief, their argument would be ignored. He has seen this happen, even though their PSE curriculum espouses support for the child’s self acceptance over blind affirmation. I was upset by this and further disappointed when he said it didn’t really matter because it’s not affecting him or his friends. I tried arguing with him that it doesn’t matter until it does- one day it will be your sister or mother or friend who suffers but he didn’t want to get into it (he knows the conversation isn’t over 😅).
But this interaction summed it up for me. People don’t believe it. They can’t speak out for the real threat of being sanctioned. They won’t protest because it’s not directly affecting them at this point in time. It’s being forced on the faceless many, by the loud few, and by the time most people are bothered enough by it to care it will be too late because it will be enshrined in law and before you know it we will all be at the mercy of the perverts and bad actors who will be the only ones to benefit. To quote the song: “if you tolerate this, then your children will be next”.

Obviously the common denominator is men of any culture but we can't deny the concern that we are importing crowds of men who we have seen with our own eyes loitering on the streets. The stats in Sweden and Denmark are logged by nationality and there's a massive uptick in migrants being responsible for sex attacks of women compared to male citizens of that country. Yes, men of any nationality can and are responsible but we are increasing the risk to women, not reducing it.

I won't be called racist for noticing this current trend/risk to women. Especially when these men are coming from cultures that absolutely hate women and subjugate them.

I dislike Tom Daley for two reasons. One, I read an interview with him ages ago where he was almost dismissive of women's concerns over trans issues. However he knows perfectly well what a woman is when he wants to buy a baby. Two, the media almost make out as if he invented knitting and crochet, as if men and women haven't been knitting and crocheting for hundreds of years...

He's a nasty misogynistic prick.

The BMA and threatening to disavow the Cass Report. My gut instinct? Follow the money. I bet you any money there's snouts in the trough at the BMA whose income streams are threatened by what Dr Cass recommended.

I have to admit, I kind of feel like there's more I could be doing to roll back the torrent of gender woo. I'm a lawyer for fuck's sake. Is there any way we can hasten puberty blockers litigation into existence? Maybe see if we can track down the dodgy online pharmacies that sell DIY HRT for egg hatching purposes, potentially by asking their returns policy and then returning allegedly faulty goods with a speakerless Airtag embedded in the packing material?

For my part, I'm going to adopt an attitude of malicious compliance. Anyone I run into professionally will not have their preferred pronouns used if they're clearly a TIM / TIF but will be referred to studiously by their full name or "the Claimant / the Defendant." Directives to put pronouns in signatures will be ignored. And next Pride I'm going to get that chevron rainbow flag and cut the chevron out of it like the Romanians did during the fall of Ceausescu. Oh, and any bepenised individual seen entering the ladies will be the subject of a fresh grievance (at work) or complaint (elsewhere) for each time I see them doing it. Even if I'm not directly impacted.

The objective is to cost the blob more in dealing with it than it costs me to raise it.

Tesco completed their month of inclusivity so it's out with the old, ready for the next marketing campaign.
