It's not quite like that - as Hannah Barnes explains in A Time to Think, what's been happening for families using NHS services in England, if the child is seen as having gender issues, the treatment path is referral to the specialist gender service (that was the Tavistock) with very long waiting lists, even if there are other known issues (like autism) the gender identity issues trump them. There was a high possibility that eventually the child would be referred for puberty blockers - but it wouldn't happen quickly, as the numbers of referrals were growing so quickly. This is where services like Gender GP would come in to sell puberty blockers to families frustrated by the long delays - but they're operating outside the NHS.

We are repeatedly told that trans(vestite) women are women so I don't know why they need actresses? I'd fucking love it if they got Eddie Izzard to take the lead...I'd pay to see it.
I really am tempted to go, shame there's no messaging facility on here as it would make for a fun Tattle GC day out!

Yes, that point was made in response to the post on X/ Twitter.

I have seen TRAs openly threaten her on SM, going as far as to say they would turn up at her house if Labour endorsed the recommendations of the Cass review (I reported this one to FB and Duffield’s office- no response). This is why I was sickened by people throwing things at Farage as well, it’s harmful to the democratic process never mind the potential for the politician involved to be hurt or worse.

well he’s not gonna be fuckin found if people are looking for a woman with a bob
That happened near me last year, anyone suggesting they should perhaps report it as a transwoman, or that the person sometimes presents as male were called bigots and transphobic of course.
Jeez, they put people at risk because of the ideology.

I wonder if the police would still call a man dressed as a woman a woman if they abducted a child? I hope to God it never happenes as you can't trust the police or media to tell the truth now

That happened in the Scottish Borders not long back, I think they called him a man, but he told them to if I remember correctly.
The girl was 10/11 and it was said in court that she got into the car with him because she though he was a woman.
He held her hostage and sexually abused her.

Actually hilarious. It’s like a skit! The bloke missing is in plain sight, stood in the middle of a bunch of people looking for a woman.

Exactly.
The people suggesting they might post reality were really "kind", about it too.
I was dying to say, "oh ffs, it's a man", but didn't.
I have stickers which say, "Everything is transphobic", and that's a perfect demonstration of it.

If labour get in , any trans will be able to report to the police and get someone arrested/ summonsed - irrespective of what was or was not said. Lie even, and the Police will automatically be taking their side with no comeback.

I hope people realise this on Voting Day at the Ballot Box.
I really do.

There's absolutely nothing offensive about stating that *this person* is missing, that they like to be known as Sarah, and they may be wearing clothing that would be worn by women. What is offensive is insisting that this missing and apparently vulnerable man is, in fact a woman when he clearly isn't. And to make matters worse, the Met police (who all seem to know what a woman is when they want to sexually harass one) then threaten anyone who doesn't go along with their gaslighting.
Ffs, you couldn't make it up!

Who the fuck does Michael Cashman think he is? He’s been @Ing companies on X demanding to know why they’re not flying the pride flag. If they haven’t responded, he’s then hassled them, to the extent that one company has capitulated and another has deleted its X account. What an absolute authoritarian wanker he is .

Oh for goodness' sake....has any gay person ever felt "unwelcome" on a river commuter boat because there was no visible rainbow flag flying anywhere on board?
I don't mean to speak for gay people, any more than I speak for all women. I do speak on behalf of folk with more than one brain cell though!

Saw a creepy ass AGP on the train. A geeky looking man, shoulder length hair, 5 pm shadow and a creepy smile in a hoody with pins saying “she/they/theirs” and “I’m autistic”

FUCK OFF

Saw what I think was a trans man out tonight. Wasn’t really sure because she looked very female but had short multicoloured hair and the hairiest legs I’ve ever seen on a woman. Unfortunately she was very petite and probably under 5 feet tall. Just… why?
