Gosh, so a care leaver, and only 22, and has swallowed the ideology about trans, and with self-declared autism... a combination that makes me think this person will not have other members of the constituency in mind. I doubt he will empathise with women, mothers, pensioners, middle-aged working masses, underperforming schoolboys, teen mums, etc etc. I bet he'll just bleat on about trans rights. I'm sure there are some very highly intelligent, politically sound autistic candidates out there, so my gripe is not about the autism, but it is about the combination here, a 22 year old who has likely gone through the care system and had possible horrible experiences, but is gullible enough to fall for the ideology... I'm sorry but I wouldn't trust them as far as I can throw them to have the interests of most constituents at heart. I also can't help but wonder if he has been groomed/encouraged to become a political candidate by someone or the internet. A young care leaver, gullible enough to fall for ideology? I mean, I could be very wrong, I haven't heard his speak, but I'm inclined to trust my gut on this one given that he has listed several characteristics in his bio before his actual role
It's like me prioritising "Heterosexual, married, mid 30s, Dyslexic, suffers anxiety, oh, and JOB ROLE." If you list all your characteristics like that before job role then I'm inclined to think you will see the world through a biased lens of those characteristics. It's the trans bit that concerns me most. Being a care leaver is not a problem, being autistic is not a problem. Being only 22 is a bit of a problem, what life experience do you have of politics?! But the combination listed as a CV before the actual job role, with that magical ingredient of 'trans', that combination screams to me that this individual is going to be problematic.I'm not very good at getting across what I mean but yeah, this is not good. Just my opinion.

Having sex assigned at birth absolutely happens to intersex babies, but yes, you're right, no such thing happens to 99% of babies. It grinds my gears that trans have stolen a term that helped some intersex people make sense of an experience they actually went through to validate their own delusions.
I was assigned female at birth and given a female birth certificate. It was later discovered I have CAIS. To many here, that means I'm a male because I have XY chromosomes and so if you believe I was really male at birth due to my chromosomes, you'd have to agree that my sex was assigned as the midwife saw my vulva and said "congratulations, you've got a daughter".
Other intersex people are born with ambiguous genitals and are surgically altered at or near birth. If you're born with a micropenis and have female genitals surgically created while you're an unconsenting infant, you're not born female, you're assigned female.
