If he truly knew victims who were having sex with grown adults at the age of 9 then he is withholding information of very very serious crimes. I don’t care how gay he is, he’s morally reprehensible.

If he or others like him get into a position of influence on councils or elected as an MP then he can count on their vote when he and others attempt to reduce the legal age of consent for boys down to 12. ( or 9, as he's said on record before- as a fellow Tattler above has pointed out........).

The offenders are just hiding in plain sight. It’s nothing to do with gender inclusivity and everything to do with abuse.
I know there are men out there who work in early years and that’s fine. It shouldn’t just be the preserve of women. But if normal people can’t see that this statement is so wrong, then there’s no hope.
I hope the mum pulled her child out of there immediately and told everyone what they said.
My child is due to start nursery at some point next year. I personally wouldn’t send my toddler to a nursery with male staff. Sorry to good, genuine male nursery workers but my priority will always be my child’s safety, not anyone else’s feelings. And it’s better odds for that if I don’t let her be looked after by unknown males. Most men aren’t child sex abusers but most child sex abusers are men
I loathe men like Tatchell. For one, no man has the right to tell any woman that they should ignore discomfort from inappropriate men and to my mind, a man pretending to be a woman is being highly inappropriate. It’s an inbuilt instinct that we need to be aware of for safety reasons. We can often sense creepy weird men, and Melissa aka the “bloke in a wig” is creepy and obviously a wrong ‘un.
He also represents the other concerning aspect of this, trying to defend the indefensible by wanting to justify pedalos and lower the age of consent. I’m sure there are quite a few in high places of the same opinion. High power seems to attract deviants, but of course, they want to break our barriers down, to try and get things that repel most people accepted bit by bit. Oh and of course, make out we’re the awful, horrible people for daring to shame the perverts. He can go and duck himself, repugnant creature that he is.

My kids nursery has always had men working there - and the kids love the guys who work there. Men work in the baby room as well as with the older kids, but men do not change any of the nappies or take any of the kids to the bathroom. These men often have their own kids and I’m sure are perfectly capable of caring for the kids in that way, but they don’t do it. I can honestly say I have never had any qualms about the fact there are men working in the nursery.
This is a really big deal! I wanted to train as a psychotherapist but couldn’t do it while the governing bodies were pressuring people to only affirm these risky and permanent routes.
It was also a nightmare for existing therapists as for ethical reasons they had to basically avoid potentially counselling anyone who might be considering this- almost impossible to gauge and put them at risk of being harassed whatever they did.
Given most kids in this situation will be seeking or in need of counselling the affirmation-only model was causing a lot of escalation, pressure and ensuing damage.

We have a male friend who is a care worker as well, in a special needs housing , hes done it for years, and he never stays alone with a Woman patient , and bathing is always 2 people there .
