I’ve posted on here before about my niece’s school that let the student and the drama teacher do a drag lip sync battle. I’ve just got back from her school production of Matilda, before it started we were made to watch a video about the schools efforts to make everyone feel included, which was basically just a video showing kids painting rainbows on each others cheeks, waving pride flags (including all the extra flags that i’m not even sure their own community could identify all of) and clips of that boy in full drag doing various things around the school. Then I was treated to two hours of a drag Miss Trunchbull complete with 8inch heels and a mini skirt… When was Miss Trunchbull ever known for her mini skirts?

So inclusive didn't feature racial minorities, or people with disabilities then?
How very surprising.

Has anyone who staged this even READ Matilda? This teacher is just using it as an excuse to perform in drag. Why oh why do they need children to validate them?!

Two Irish doctors have complained to HIQA about gender affirming care in Ireland. They say the gender affirming model damages children and uses inappropriate treatments.

I've only scanned this article - one of the people being quoted is 'Dr' Vanessa Lacey - a TIM - their PhD is is 'Grief and Loss' - not medically qualified, yet this person has been advising Irish parents via (quote from their website) 'an Irish based gender-identity business' to send their children to Belgium for trans treatment. And the HSE has (allegedly) referred patients to this organisation.

Quoting myself now - to add - left to right in this photograph - Simon Harris, Minister for Higher Education, R&D and Science, Noah Halpin - a transman and health officer (no qualifications) with TENI (Ireland's Stonewall) and the infamous Dr Teetus Deletus who is under investiagtion for performing 'top surgery' on minors in the US (I think).

I'm watching it. It's great. Got a detransitioner on describing all his post op problems.

They've got a tra on now but he's not selling it very well! It's up to the patient to decide the treatment and not the doctor according to them! God I'm so proud of RTE. I think I'm actually going to forgive them for all the wasted money and pay my tv licence

Really exploring the link between autism, the internet, mental health issues and trans. Showing how dangerous it is to affirm

Well men are under the influence of testosterone and all that that brings but I don't even think men or wider society would view that as hormonal, just as part of being a man. They probably see themselves as being enabled by it as opposed to limited.
Thats an interesting idea and tricky to define -
when men have low T e.g. from aging, weight gain or even when they have a child with their partner and their T levels drop ~30% in response mood is impacted, sex drive is impacted, body composition is impacted, body hair etc
As its examined more I think we'll find men aren't as even keel as we've previously assumed - like Dr Anna Machin discusses in her book https://www.amazon.com.au/Life-Dad-Making-Modern-Father/dp/1471161404 - men are also subject to dangers of depression right after having a child.

Testosterone heralds the different phases of a man's life and makes sure our highest subconscious priority is reproduction and this is the same job estrogen, oxytocin and progesterone do for women - we know about the fluctuations because periods are overt and in short term phases of repetition but men are very much subject to hormones

you are right that men are virtually slaves to it - I had a period of time where as a young guy I *aspired* to be asexual because I wasn't yet used to the idea my brain paid SO much attention to women and I had just had enough time pass to realise that it would even affect perception, making me make excuses for the behaviour of young women I'd decided were cute & available and view it all through an optimistic prism

I think from teens on, guys have to take steps to either drop their interest levels before heading out in public or worry about not having great judgement and then testosterone motivates drive to high sex frequency in a committed relationship and then in later life when it drops down to low levels, leaves a man still with that as his default form of intimacy and affirmation of love and value in a pairing despite its increasing absence.

I think an earnest person who has sympathy for women during teens, their period, during peri-menopause, full menopause etc should definitely understand that men have their own juggling act to be decent, even tempered, kind AND do their thing , find a nice partner, probably have a family, stay faithful

This programme will make it so much easier to push back against affirming children and social transition. It just legitimises people's concerns. We're going mainstream guys!! Between this and Kemi it's been an epic week for terfs.

I have to watch the programme on playback - meanwhile - this video has been produced by the INTO (Irish primary school teachers union)

Now the TRA is saying you don't have to see a psychologist before you get your appendix out so you shouldn't have to see one before having gender surgery. OMG let them speak and they will do our job for us.

Disgusting. Any teacher I know feels the same as me. The unions don't represent their members.

Where to begin with Kate Osborne's self-righteous letter to Kemi? No-one is calling trans children a disease and Osborne knows that. Epidemic can also be used in non-medical terms to describe something which is characterised by sudden rapid spread or growth i.e. social contagion. Hence something can be described as having reached 'epidemic proportions'. In fact, Kemi actually spoke of referrals to the Tavistock becoming 'almost an epidemic'. This is undeniable.

There has clearly been an exponential growth in young people believing that they are transgender. Yet instead of looking at the real issue, Osborne just want to score points over language and even fails to do that successfully. And if we're being picky, gender dysphoria is a mental health issue, so even if Kemi had called the rise in transgenderism in children a 'disease; she wouldn't be wrong. It would be the same as calling 'anorexia' a disease.

Osborne went home festering over the fact that Kemi had wiped the floor with her in the committee, and this was her best shot? She'd have been better keeping quiet. When you're in a hole, best stop digging.

It's just a sign that she can't challenge Kemi on the content of her speech. She's having to resort to this ridiculous argument over the word epidemic. It gives her something to get angry about so she can forget all the logical points Kemi raised.

I’ve mentioned this before but I’m in a FB ‘style’ group for over 40s but I’ve muted it so I don’t see the posts. I occasionally look. They have a raging AGP who has just posted a video of himself before make up etc… he looks like a nasty piece of tit but there are over 400 comments from women applauding ‘her’ beauty. I know for a fact that those women would feel completely intimidated if he walked by them at night. Why do they do this?!

Funny isn't it the way a lot of women fawn over AGPs? I've done it myself towards a friend of my husband (who I've mentioned on here previously) before The Great Enlightenment. It's like they fall over themselves to show these men that they're so accepting of them as women - is fool pandering hard wired? As like a safety measure, to avoid assault? Funny these same women are often very keen on pulling down actual women (I never did that)
