I would love to think you are right! It would be the biggest joke in the film, especially when the TRAs are so gleeful about it.

Perfect! I liked the movie but I've seen so many horrid TRA takes about it including "Barbie is trans/non-binary because the movie is about her discovering she's not meant to be a doll (woman)" and "not liking the movie is internalised misogyny cuz woman = femininity"
