revoke his Womens titles and reset the current Bests
whoever came 2nd to Will needs to be awarded 1st and everyone else upped to their correct placing.
There are so many sports where this should be happening (because men should never have been awarded anything to begin with) The one that springs to my mind is Laurel Hubbard steal a gold medal from Samoan Feagaiga Stowers at the Pacific Games - she had Won The gold, but that
hat stole it. Iuniana Sipaia took home bronze and should have had silver, But who was fourth? Dis the fourth girl - who ought to have had a bronze medal, even keep on with the sport?
How many young women have dropped out of the sorts they have loved and worked for, because they know that they no longer stand a chance where males are competing?
They will never get those opportunities again. Even if the medals are now given to the true winners, it isn't the same - there is no pride of achievement, no public acknowledgement on the world stage of all of their works and dedication.
So many women have had their dreams broken and spat on, and nothing will bring them back. I HATE these men and the people who enabled their misogyny.

That's amazing, albeit long overdue news, about swimming. I hope that Riley Gaines is having a bottle of champers tonight to celebrate. I have so much admiration for that young woman, and hopefully in time, all young women will recognise the debt that they owe her for her tireless and selfless campaigning.
This video showed up on my timeline just now. It's the former Olympic rower Alex Story and Peter Tatchell reacting to British rowing's decision to ban transgender women from competing against biological women. Alex Storey makes the usual common sense points when talking about how it was insane that it was ever entertained in the first place.
Peter Tatchell is as mealy-mouthed as you'd expect saying that of course the foundation of sport is fairness, but that since biological men come in all shapes and sizes, and some might be smaller than biological women, it's unfair to have a blanket ban. He suggests that it's done on a case by case basis otherwise it's not fair on biological men who transition but don't actually have an advantage over biological women. Err, hello? What arrant nonsense. Of course there are some men who even if they transitioned wouldn't be as athletic as some women, but that isn't the point. Those people clearly wouldn't have a chance of success if they competed against biological men. So why do they get to try out against women? The argument is nonsensical.
I am not in the slightest bit athletic, but that's life. It doesn't mean I should be allowed to compete against say 10 year olds. Sport is competitive, and by its very nature, separates people into those who are stronger, faster, more capable etc. The point of equality in sport is that 'like competes against like'. Anything else is inherently unfair and wrong. Lia Thomas was a mediocre male swimmer, but a champion 'female' swimmer. That's the unfairness. Tatchell is either stupid or being disingenuous if he doesn't understand that point.
I watched that little interview.
Alex Storey was great - spoke with barely concealed contempt for Tatchell and for "men who put a dress on and say they're a woman" (paraphrasing). Tatchell sounded like the pathetic, whining little runt he is. I got the impression that if Tatchell was standing next to him he wouldn't even p*ss on him for pastime - he wouldn't even notice his presence.
Plus, Tatchell talking about how some people have advantages in sport anyway, because they have bigger shoulders, longer legs etc - well, Yes, they do, Peter - and they work hard to make the best use of these advantages. We members of the general pie-eating public call them "athletes", and they go into particular sports where their particular physical advantages can be used to best effect. Against members of their own SEX.
Blimey - Tatchell is a snivelling little stoat of a man, but even he could beat me at arm-wrestling. It's not just size and weight - it's body composition - muscle type and proportion, bone density and joint angles etc. He sounded really pathetic trying to justify male inclusion in women's sports. Stuff your "individual case-by-case", Peter. A man and a woman of the same height and weight are not "equal". Because the man will still be considerable stronger and faster despite their being matched because their
physiology is different.
