I wonder if they're incredibly naiive? As a regrettably heterosexual woman a functional pen is a bit of a non-negotiable... I can't comprehend what benefit a useless Frankenstein flesh sausage is to its owner or anyone else. They don't even look passable let alone anything else. It really is an utterly delusional movement where we're all supposed to suspend reality and adopt this magical thinking that one thing can be another if only we wish hard enough.

"Neovaginas" (they don't deserve the word "tina" anywhere near them to be honest) are by and large a bleeping monstrosity to look at but it's easier to amputate a body part than it is to fabricate an entire new one. I suppose.
I have never seen an image of a "neovagina" thankfully (also agree it is an insult to call them a tina) but I think someone on here posted a link about how they have to be dilated, the problems of ingrown pubic hairs, the smell...all sounds bloody horrific. I don't think people know the reality of these surgeries and what a mess they are left with...a patchwork of bits and pieces that don't work and cause more problems than they solve.

It’s happened! I’ve been kicked out of a Facebook group just for like/love reacting to someone else’s sensible comments! She wasn’t even being explicitly GC, she was pointing out the absurdity of the term “chestfeeding”. It was honestly an innocent post about babies trying different foods for the first time. I’ll post a couple of screenshots from the conversation…

Sorry if it’s a bit jumbled but you get the gist. I blanked out the arguers but not the OP as she was not in the conversation at all.

I can understand the arguments for "normalising" mastectomy - but this is very different to what Costa Coffee is doing. They aren't encouraging "acceptance" of, and eventual comfort with, a necessary surgical scar - they are promoting, glorifying and celebrating the destruction of healthy tissue - and not just any healthy tissue, remarkable tissue which enables the nourishment of a baby, and (even if the woman denies her sexuality, and doesn't ever want a child), a wonderful organ which is important for sexual/ sensual pleasure.

Being helped to accept something which is heartbreakingly unpleasant but necessary is very different from glorifying a deliberate destruction of healthy breasts..

Quoting myself because I forgot to add, I went to check back on the post today, popcorn at the ready, and I had been kicked out of the group. I didn’t even comment.

I wish I could make this less vertical and have it as my fb cover pic. Just so anyone looking knows I won’t put up with any GI rubbish.

I was looking through my Pinterest and found it. Also found one about how GI makes its own binary- either you agree to stereotypes and you’re ‘cis’ or you don’t, therefore you ‘trans’ yourself out of them. They don’t take a third option of just NOT accepting the stereotypes.

I’ve done it- call me Ms Graphix

She takes pleasure in being one of the only butchers surgeons willing to operate on such young girls. I don’t know how she’s still allowed to practice medicine. I’d like to see all these pro trans ‘feminists’ esp in Hollywood, defend this. It’s absolutely indefensible.
IIRC she’s also one of the only surgeons who operates on patients with a high BMI. She has absolutely no ethics or standards at all.

She’s making a fortune chopping off vulnerable girls breasts. Plain and simple. The more ‘trans boys’ ie very fragile and troubled young girls she can recruit, the more money she makes. She’s a monster. She takes pleasure in being one of the only butchers surgeons willing to operate on such young girls. I don’t know how she’s still allowed to practice medicine. Just Googled her and her Miami office shows up as permanently closed!

Another one who should be in jail. Dr Teetus Deletus. Evil woman. Great piece from James, anger making and thought-provoking.
“When it comes to ‘bottom surgery’, she states in a sad voice that this is much more difficult and that, for now, “we are stuck with 18 years old as the minimum age”.

That is sociopathic imo. duck, what have we come to?

This is exactly what is happening. Imbeciles are blindly going along with what they’ve been told us the right thing to do because thinking for themselves is too hard, and they’re too scared to be thought of as ‘mean’.

I have a degree in psychology and I’m familiar with the likes of Asch’s work on group conformity, the bystander effect, Milgram’s work on obedience, etc., and wider theories of how people can be influenced to behave in ways that contradict their own beliefs or ideals, but I simply cannot fathom how this unquestioning capture of something so far removed from reality has infiltrated every level of society all over the world.

Researchers will be disentangling this one for decades!
Im not sure that this trans thinking has infiltrated society all over the world though! I have a feeling its mainly centred around English speaking 'advanced' first world countries! Maybe in some European countries, but, i dont think its as widespread as the trans movement would like it to be. Being entirely cynical, it needs a society with enough money to pay privately for hormones and treatments!!

There are still sadly some countries that are opposed to homosexuality, thinking of large swathes of Africa, Russia and China, All of the Arab countries, and quite a few religions are also opposed to homosexuality, ie Muslim and some extreme christian sects. etc etc. If they cant accept homosexuality, i doubt very much if they are willing to accept trans ideas either!! Unless its as a denial of homosexuality?

Re the psychology, I wonder if some of it comes directly out of social media, where it is relatively easy for social media to present just one opinion and just one side of an arguement.

It's very much a denial of homosexuality, even in western countries.
