I’ve been away from this thread for a little bit and catching up I’d forgotten how angry, frustrated and sometimes hurt I can feel by the way society is going or maybe betrayed is a better word.
I feel betrayed by the idea that woman is just a feeling or a costume that anyone can wear and if they do they are considered special and rewarded before other women. I feel betrayed by our Governments, sporting bodies, educators, medical professionals and entertainments saying if we don’t agree, we are the problem / phobic etc. Rather than debating and hearing legitimate arguments about safeguarding, dignity, medical reasons and religious considerations. Everything for the 1% of society at the expense of the 99% who don’t have a choice or they will be cancelled. But of course the 1% are ‘oppressed and don’t have rights’
Mostly I feel betrayed by the idea that this is presented as inclusivity.
