It's outrageous that we can falsify official documents like passports and birth certificates. If I could be arsed - which I can't - I'd look into when this all started and who campaigned for it. It's so wrong.
I can't find who campaigned for it but presumably TRA's. (not LGB)

I’ve seen some TRA criticising Olympic swimmer Sharron Davies for speaking out against trans women competing alongside biological women. Why is it when they can’t think of a legitimate argument they resort to insulting a woman’s looks, calling Sharron “the crypt keeper” then have the cheek to call themselves “feminists”

Probably because any biological woman's looks are obviously better than theirs, pure jealousy

I’m screaming NO WAY did this person manage to get “female” on their passport with their passport photo looking like that 😭😭 what a joke
ETA this person has “she/they” in their bio, as you cannot have a non binary passport I presume they have changed their passport to say female
"Why won't anyone sleep with trans women"... maybe coz you look like this, lads.

Also, why in the UK do we have Feb as LGBT+ month, and again during the summer as many iterations of Pride Month but Women get International Womens Day which TIFs want to hijack and shout at women for using word women? Why so much time dedicated. Surely most of the population feels like this is becoming overkill? Why are employers trying to indoctrinate people over special months 'this' and special months 'that'? I go to work to do some admin, not join a cult! I'm a nice person and civil to everyone I serve/work with. That should be enough!

(I'm feeling a bit fed up today I guess.)
Totally agree! I would not be able to handle my work doing this. It is bizarre, unethical and unprofessional to shove all that down your throat. It is total overkill to have a whole LBGT MONTH when women get a day. I have no idea why we’re all subject to this brainwashing.

Surely you can speak up and say that you don't need to celebrate LGBT month? How many LGBT people are there at your work?

No my work haven’t even mentioned it thankfully. I was just responding to @emmer_moans about her work. Just overkill and no need. But I do see stuff everywhere for LBGT history month. It’s really amazing how it’s taken hold of people and organisations.

Exactly, to an extent at the moment some of it can be ignored and some of the workshops are optional but it is in my workplace (education setting) a weekly occurrence of newsletters, reminders, flags, positive reinforcement, etc, it really is overkill. My job is to process admin tasks, I shouldn't have to be subjected to persistent messaging of "should be an ally this" and "trans rights this" - it's becoming a political infringement upon employees to be honest. We go to work to earn a wage, most of us are civil to colleagues and customers, that should be where the transaction ends, however now employees across the country are being bombarded with unsolicited virtue signalling and expectations of adherence to a lie...and erasure of women and biology. Why do employers think they have the right to be so intrusive?
It's exploded onto the employment scene significantly in the last 5 years I'd say.

I'm seriously considering retraining and working for smaller businesses that don't have whole departments specifically to create these excessive workshops and mailings etc that actually having nothing to do with the job I do. It feels like I've unwittingly walked into a cult without realising and now it's difficult to speak up. Reading this back to myself it sounds like hyperbole but honestly, the weekly internal newsletter almost always has a special item for the T community but it's been weeks since other underrepresented groups have had focus.

I will resist and look for something else because where I work is quite stifling and officious and I'm tired of it.

SNP looking to round females up in the trains

archive link - https://archive.fo/skllv

It was already pointed out years back why is not a good idea - https://www.historytoday.com/sending-females-rail-history-women-only-carriages

It's odd that they don't see how self-ID would be worst than a few assholes on trains who should be easy to catch by way of CCTV and by having security on trains, and at least it's a public space where one would hope help from others, while self-ID would allow men to do whatever out of sight

Anyone see that Vice article? The whole thing is ERHC trying to keep single-sex as is the law now but TRAs are acting as if trans are being forced to tit outside - it's not worth hitting the vice website to read, bias as hell there

There used to be the day we celebrated LGB, it was Pride day and everyone up and down the country celebrated together. Then it went to Pride month, which I think was June. Now it is Pride season and events take place from June through to September. It was much better when everyone celebrated together. And like you say, women cannot even get a bleeping day.

I work for a big organisation and pride month is everywhere here too. It might as well be renamed trans month though cos that's all they ever talk about. I've heard pronoun training is on the horizon and I just can't imagine how that's going to go down with most of the workforce! I'd rather not put my pronouns in my email but I'm not super opposed to it (don't feel it's necessary but it's not overtly harming me so if I'm told I have to, I suppose I will), however I know A LOT of people who would be. As one of the B in LGBT I do wish they'd shut up about it all to be honest. Equality and diversity is important but ramming it down peoples' throats just makes it worse for those of us who want to live a quiet life!

It's not even LGB though is it - it's all pushing the T agenda; which there are just not that many people onboard. They may have politicians in their pockets but they don't have the general public. We should stop being so nice, kindness is what got us into this mess in the first place.

Time for the T crowd to show us what they have evidence wise, beyond getting women arrested for placing stickers with pro-woman slogans (there was no pins or glass behind them) and re-painting everything with the T inclusive flag.

It’s fine as soon the trains like the ferries will not be running in Scotland as the SNP take control of them. Although it would be funny to see bearded men with pigtails dressed as anime characters shriek as they run to get in “ the girls part”. Welcome to Sturgeons Scotland.

It’s truly a dystopian world we’re in. Those police officers had their own agenda. It’s frightening that a woman (who is disabled) could be treated like that.

Yeah you’re right, by and large it’s the T in in LBGT that’s being rammed down our throats. I had a gay man in my work telling me that pronouns on emails are for the ‘they/them’ people (being gay he thinks that means he can’t still mansplain things to women, wrong). I said I’m still never going to do it for a long list of reasons but didn’t go in to them. I’ll save that for the day my work make it more than a ‘suggestion’. Might be the same day I hand in my notice.

I'm a civil servant and the trans woman at my work (who transitioned while working there) is treated as the second coming of christ. They're fully on the woke bandwagon.

There's an incredibly patronising article on our work intranet written by a man about why we should all put our pronouns in our email signature with no thought about why women might not want to. Cheers Stuart, you've just cured sexism.

Meanwhile I don't think John with a full beard and he/him was ever at any risk of being misgendered.

Has anyone watched (or read) This Is Going To Hurt on the BBC1? I saw the trailer and it made me really uncomfortable. Watched episode one and it was even worse. I put it down to a bit of birth trauma resurfacing 🙃 but it just felt like women’s bodies and pain being traded for dark humour. It’s all about the overworked doctor and how much the women inconvenience him, with their gross bodies and fluids splashing all over him.

Now it seems I’m not alone and there’s a LOT on social media about how deeply misogynistic it is, how people hated the books etc.

Janice Turner gets it as usual.

Am I being paranoid to think that a potential employer could snoop through my social media (which is all private) apart of course from Twitter, where I never tweet but will occasionally like a GC tweet. I follow JK Rowling. I’ve been kinda ghosted about this potential job and it’s made me totally paranoid that they have looked for me and surmised that I’m not a fit for their company. I meet (and in some areas exceed) the job criteria so my mind is wandering. Surely companies aren’t allowed to do that?? Where I work I know we don’t do that with applicants as all very official and above board but maybe some places use SM as a way of vetting people??

There's a good chance they will have snooped through SM, there was an incident in Ireland where a woman liked two tweets that were news articles which ones viewed as GC and she was attacked for this by irish twitter, just those two likes caused ones to attack her and insist she was transphobic :( All the stuff she done for abortion rights didn't matter

I have a few ones following me that I used to work with and found out one of them I will be working with again, don't know their stance but I may need to create a new twitter account just because of the tweets I like that I may like to reference might by used against me
