"The tribunal considered that Dr Harrop was good at articulating insight, but when the opportunity had arisen to demonstrate this - specifically in relation to the interview with VICE Global - he had failed to do so."

Yeah, an article depicting the good doctor metaphorically hanging himself on a cross for trans rights wasn't the wisest move...

Great news about Harrop! Common sense prevails at last, hopefully.

Have been reading this gross thread about AGPs and creepy men in clothing shops.

Like we didn’t already know how much women, especially young women, are expected to put up with in retail jobs, and not even complain about it. Made me think of the weird guy who always used to make a beeline for me at my Saturday job in a supermarket in my late teens/early 20s. He used to make my skin crawl. One day I was standing at a cash machine in town and somehow spotted me, crept up behind me and said hello in my ear 😩

This is absolutely him. He talks a good talk, but ultimately it's manipulation, disingenuous and totally bleeping transparent.

Just scanning through the Harrop tweets. His team are trying to argue that he can’t be suspended from the medical register because a) his clinical skills have never been in question and b) his career would suffer if he was suspended.

My guess is he may get get away with having a warning on his GMC registration, which is no more than rapped knuckles.

The NHS don’t usually suspend medical professionals unless their hand is forced. The NHS can act like a mafia, they protect their own.

Brian May on his knees begging for forgiveness. I bet he said exactly what he was supposed to have said but felt the cancellation looming...

No it's not evil in the slightest. It's perfectly understandable for grape victims to not want to be around people that are obviously men while receiving therapy.

This comment on it is sickening - "So basically women are meant to look like a gender stereotype of they are kicked out - regardless of if they are trans or cis? LMAO"

No. They are not expected to look like a gender stereotype you bleeping idiot. They are just expected to BE women.

That’s a councillor for the Green Party saying that. There’s literally a 10+ thread on the site that cannot be named linked with the actual woman involved contributing.

He said something along the lines of if Queen had formed today they'd have to have been more racially diverse. And have a trans person.
If he did say that, tbh, it’s a pretty stupid thing to say (but I haven’t seen the quote).

The councillor's comment is exactly why I don't think it is helpful that it is only the DM reporting these stories, in the past I would have thought the same tbh

I don't really care about what he said but there were so many comments about him on social media that made me roll my eyes "old white dinosaur" and so on. Despite age being a protected characteristic, the woke have no problem with ageism, funnily enough.

Yeah. People basically saying that it would be for the best for those of a certain age to just keep their mouths shut.

They can't see that no matter how hip and relevant they feel they are now, some day they too will be told that their opinion doesn't matter and they should just sit back and let the young folk do the talking

I apologise for posting links from the Guardian than the Daily Mail these days (I jest, I don’t read the G much anymore to post anything from there).

If the guardian posted anything related to this mania they would probably be bullied by owen jones and his acolytes until they were sacked :ROFLMAO:
