My thoughts exactly. We've gone from "educate me' to 'your husband wouldn't question a loon' with a photo of Rumer Willis thrown in amongst them because she happens to have a prominent jaw.
It’s always the same. Faux innocence followed by a litany of TRA counter arguments that proves they weren’t so naive after all. I mean were all those photos in a folder ready to go? Rumer Willis as some kind of gotcha? A woman whose facial bone structure doesn’t meet typical beauty standards, ergo she looks like a man?
As I said in my original post, I'm in favour of you treating them as men regardless of how they look. The conversation shifted to claims that your husbands could identify male vs. female, hence, the photos. None of the photos are male, the photos are all female, but it isn't fun if you don't actually ask your husbands to pick out the male photos and then I get to do the grand reveal. If you say you are capable of identifying male vs. female, I believe you, although identifying only Rumer Willis as female does undermine your point somewhat, given that's famous model Yolanda Hadid and Lottie Moss who are both very female.

In my defence, the amount of times I've seen a loon photoshopped to look feminine makes me wary, Take Lia whatever his name is, the swimmer and some other athlete calling himself Emma filtered to high heaven so the unsuspecting public think that they look like a lass.

If he can't accurately pick out which people are male and which people are female then any statement that he would never go near a trans woman strains credulity. My entire point is, as maytoseptember summarised so succinctly, men are simple creatures, man see booby and man go boing. Men do not have some nuanced take on the width of shoulders relative to the sharpness of the jaw. Of course, if you ask a straight man, "would you have sex with a man dressed as a woman?" he would say ew no, I'm not gay but send him off to Thailand, get a beer in him and see what happens when he encounters a ladyboy who has better bits than he has ever encountered before. The horny man does not consider.
Katie Price, she is more artificial than even the most surgeried transwoman, yet so many men (inexplicably) find Katie Price attractive, go to any pub in England and the most masculine men would be falling over themselves to bag Katie Price. What's the difference between Katie Price and a post-op trans woman? I recall seeing an article that said she had a new tina put in, although typing that out, it sounds like I got tricked by a fake headline.
A better example is Sister Hong. Look at pictures of Sister Hong (although be warned, it is horrifying): he is so obviously a man that it is beyond comprehension that any human could think that he is a woman. And yet, he tricked thousands of men into having sex with him and bringing him gifts. I mean, even I, someone banging the drum of the depravity of man, cannot understand how any person had sex with Sister Hong, that's a line even I wouldn't cross. Many of the men were attractive, married, they had no conceivable reason to fall for the obvious scam, and yet they did, because we, men, are inexplicable. I don't recommend it but there are leaked videos from Sister Hong's escapades, it ain't pretty.
Again, I'm not arguing that trans women look like women and therefore should be treated like women by women. I am only saying that straight men are a lot less discerning than you think and "ew no I would never have sex with a trans woman" says nothing of how we would act if there was a passing trans woman in front of us trying to have sex with us (even if they were obviously not passing to you, a woman with a brain).
