Update, I've been given a bed at Healesville hospital, there are kangaroos to be seen up there!
Last time I had a procedure there I only saw one male patient in the waiting area and it was completely staffed by women. It's a long way from where I live but the care they gave last time makes it worth the trip and my husband has offered to pay half of the Uber up there.

Those poxy changing villages are abysmal. My daughter got harassed at the swimming pool by a bastard who couldn't handle the concept that a young woman in a bikini is there to swim not cop off. The git followed her to the changing village and went in next door to her and she heard noises that were very obviously him wanking. Not always a bloke in a dress but always a bloke. She's a firecracker and she did complain and get him banned, but what if she was younger or less bolshie, and he'd made her feel ashamed or afraid rather than enraged?

Queens, I've found an author who ticks all my boxes, Scottish police procedural with great writing and a believable female protagonist plus the storyline has strong gender critical tones.
It's great to read, I'm not sure the sex of the author but it's Drew Augustine and if you're here Drew, I'll be buying the next two books in the series in about 5 minutes.
Here, Natalie is a lesbian trying to find a date on the apps.
There's also an academic fighting with gender woo people at her work and it's almost like reading here. Bloody good stuff. It's called The Twenty Murders.

I just had to fill out a health questionnaire on my phone for upcoming surgery, I wish it had been on paper so I could write what I thought about their 'assigned sex at birth' shit.
Now, I've had a hysterectomy and am currently growing a cyst on my remaining 1/2 an ovary. This is about as womanly a health issue as one can get but I still was asked my pronouns and fucking gender. I know it's a generic questionnaire but I'm still annoyed that they pander to this crap.
Probably just as well there was no room for other comments, I'd have gone off like a frog in a sock.

Isn't it funny how the actual women are dressed in fairly unisex clothing and are all still obviously women. The man dressed in pink and high heeled boots is clearly and obviously a man.
This is what they'll never ever understand, or want to understand. Women are women no matter what the clothing, hair, body size/shape, makeup/no makeup.
We don't have to prove we are women. I mean it's fucking bizarre to have to even think that way. Compete with men who think they do 'being a woman' better because they go for a stereotypical gruesome sex kitten type thing. Or schoolgirl

How is the media coverage of Jason Arday any different from the very public cancelling of Kathleen Stock or the way that Maya forstater was thrust into the limelight? Or rhe regular attacks on JKR?
Jason was not a private individual he raised him self up to a high profile position and woke DEI figurehead, apparently on a web of grandiosity and deceit.

If, as the BBC now accepts, it’s wrong to show white people dressing up as grotesque parodies of black people, how come it’s fine – indeed, wonderfully enlightened and progressive – to show men dressing up as grotesque parodies of women?
I only ask because the BBC’s peculiar fixation with drag queens shows no signs of abating. Just this week, Newsnight invited one to participate in a discussion of the UK’s floundering economy. Perhaps we could boost quarterly growth if we each buy a pair of size 12 stilettos.
Meanwhile, the BBC has been eagerly plugging the new series of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK. Apparently we can look forward to meeting contestants who use such charming stage names as “Anita P---”, proclaim themselves to be a “Bikini Bottom Bimbo”, declare that they’re “feeling lit to the t--”, and challenge the “other girls” to “step their pussies up”.
No doubt the BBC would argue that this is harmless, light-hearted entertainment, to which only killjoys could object. But then, 50 years ago, that’s what its bosses said about The Black and White Minstrel Show.
Still, times change. So, in another 50 years, maybe the BBC will once again be wringing its hands, as it wonders, in horrified disbelief, how it could ever have promoted the practice of pinking up."

Just saw a news article on Facebook about a trans march last week, the headline states "we just want gender neutral toilets, they don't want us to exist"
Firstly the comments were golden, which was refreshing (my favourite being "we don't want you to die, we just want you to fuck off")
Secondly, why is it always death? Can't use our loos "you want us dead", don't want you in our prisons "you want us dead" and so on and so on.

Article in the Mail about red flag weirdo Jacob Engelsman (discussed recently on here) who has been invited to lecture at the Association of Lactation Consultants in Ireland (ALCI) conference in Galway. I know we all know he’s a wrong’un, but I hadn’t realised that he has actually given a presentation entitled, “Inducing Lactation for Kinksters”. And now he’s been invited to a breastfeeding conference? It beggars belief that this is happening
