Maybe we should rebel and create idiotic pronouns too that they have to use because they’d be going against their own ideology if they don’t.

I found a few idiotic ones listed on a neopronoun website. I am officially referring to myself as nightmare/nightmares/nightmareself.

How dumb do I look and sound?!

I’ve always wanted to wear a pronoun badge that says O/V/N/A then when someone asks me about it say “This means nothing to me”. You need to be of a certain age to get it.

I know someone whose girlfriend cheated on him with Midge Ure. Sometimes we would wind him up by putting this on repeat on the pub jukebox 😁

Don't worry about your bad Scottish accent - simply self indentify as Scottish and then tell David Tennant that you're more Scottish than him!
That's the kind of logic that he and "allies" like to use!
I have always felt that I woz robbed, not being a Glaswegian. It is the most attractive accent- so damn hot! A plus point of AuDHD echolalia is that I can mimic accents very closely and as a child (and occasionally as a tipsy adult), I would switch accents, if I was bored and needed to make my brain buzz. 😂 I was transScots at a very young age, before trans was trendy. 😂

I must say the shops near me have toned down the overly done Pride stuff this year.
I was minding my own business walking around Superdrug yesterday and it came over the store radio/tannoy system telling me how much they support Pride and how they welcome trans.
I hate this propaganda - it only happens for Pride, I have never seen this level of support for anything else. You may have a stand and a few leaflets in Asda for Breast Cancer awareness but that's as far as it goes.

After saying I hadn’t seen so much Pride stuff this year, I’ve just been to Morrisons and on the way out they’re got bunting with that godawful flag draped round the self service checkout. Really pisses me off being bombarded with it.

Quoting myself like an idiot, but to add to my last post, it particularly pisses me off that Morrisons are displaying the progress flag considering this.

Pride has been completely overshadowed by the FIFA Men's World Cup this year. Far more money in football and related sales.

Apart from Lush, their target market probably doesn't include football fans.

I spent the day in a small, quaint coastal town. Absolutely no diversity and full of middle class white people. So, they had to make their own:
Progress flag on a pole outside the tiny community centre, progress flag on the fire station, progress flags and inclusivity notices on two churches of different denominations, rainbow door mats as you went inside shops… I live in a London borough and I’ve seen more flags today than I’ve seen in my neighbourhood since the beginning of pride.

I ask myself why the trans think they are so special and why should we idolises them, many many more marginal group to be found but they are not expecting us to worship at their alter come hell or high water, we all just need to get on and believe what we want to believe but not to ram it down others throats just because you believe doesn’t mean others have too., I believe I am a millionaire with lots of hanger on’s nd at the top of the tree but then I wake up and find out I am not.

It just seems so weird to have a politician saying "trans people deserve love" - such a bizarre idea that any group of people "deserve love". You deserve love from your parents and that's it. It's certainly not the business of MPs, our legislators, to decide that "trans people deserve love". How do you legislate for the love that they deserve? They already have equality and more than equality, but now they've got a right to love?
My local uni embraced this kind of far left rhetoric, and it would end up in the most deranged arguments. Like discussing disability, they'd argue the social model of disability (person is disabled because of societal barriers) vs medical model (disability as something to be 'fixed') and end up basically saying you could disregard any problems caused for people by illness (chronic pain etc.) by basically just putting it on the never never and saying 'Well, that's just because there aren't enough ramps etc.' The right for a disabled baby to be born supersedes the right for a woman (even a disabled one!) to choose. Disabled men should be given access to prostitutes as sex is a human right. People criticising child prostitution in Thailand are imposing their own privileged Westernised imperialist moral framework, and are therefore racist.

It's interesting as trans politics wasn't that huge then, but you can absolutely trace all the throughlines (recognising the autonomy and sexuality of the vulnerable or children supersedes safeguarding; women as an identity represents privilege and moralising, whereas males with disabled or non-Western identities are exempt from male privilege.) Ironic, as a lot of those people who don't already identify as disabled will basically force themselves into that category by unnecessary operations.

See, this is why the cis-scots hate you - because they're jealous of how Scottish you are and how you're better at being Scottish than them. All their Scottish husbands secretly want you because of how Scottish you are. #transjoy

Exactly.
The trans brigade DEMAND that we are "kind" and we must "protect the dolls", and that they "are loved" when no other (actual) marginalised groups do.
Why is that?
Why are they so bleeping demanding?
Because it makes me want to do the opposite.

I have sympathy for teenagers going through a difficult period who end up choosing to question their gender but no one else in this mess. The second I come across someone who says they are trans or that they have a trans family member I mentally switch off as they’re either mentally unwell, enabling or a predator.

The 'trans' crowd don't seem very fun to be around to be honest. One the one hand you have the raging AGPs shouting in shops for being misgendered and looking like they've raided granny's wardrobe and look like they reek of BO covered by eyewatering cat-piss-like perfume, and then on the other hand you have women like E Page who look bloody miserable that an hour with them at dinner would be the most draining miserable time. And what they have in common is Me Me Me. The AGP will be barking orders and preening in their cosplay, and the TIFs would be telling you your politics and education are wrong and to educate yourself whilst trying to convince you they are experiencing trans 'joy' while speaking to you with a face like a slapped puppy in a rainstorm.

Why would anyone sane want to spend time with these people?! Why are be being conditioned to exhault these people above all else?!

Those flags in churches and shops etc are like bat signals to say 'vulneravle people come to us to be groomed ', or 'we will menance you and bombard you with our ideology until you submit'.

The original pride flag was supposed to be a symbol of recognition and hope and support. The 'progress' flag is corrupt.

I’ve not been on this thread in ages, various reasons but just wanted to share. I had asked advice on worries about this toxic ideology infesting my child’s school and received solidarity from you guys. I’ve now noticed that since the obviously trans student teacher (bad wig, giant hands, a foot taller than the females) has left, the sign on the teacher’s toilet saying “toilet for the gender you feel most comfortable with” (wtf does that even mean) has disappeared. My child has a new class teacher and they are now doing loads of Harry Potter stuff, including a whole school show themed on it 😄 Maybe he’s a TERF, I bloody hope so. But it made me wonder, are they only “allies” to people’s faces? Most of the people involved in the performative nonsense don’t really believe it, they’re just frightened of the repercussions of not going along with it.

This exactly. To be honest, I don’t feel I owe total strangers anything other than basic politeness. I’m not a fawner, I don’t go around complimenting strangers. The absolute last thing I’m going to do is tell some random AGP that he’s the most stunning and brave and precious little delicate flower, especially as they give me the creeps.

Trans Joy. Yes, it seems to consist of aggressive AGPs displaying their fetish and getting irate with anyone who doesn’t fawn over them and depressed TIM who always seem thoroughly miserable. Frankly, not people I want to be around. One lot creep me out, the other lot seem desperately sad and depressed.

As for the church thing, I admit I’m a complete atheist but what I really don’t get is this. In fact I discussed it with a devout Christian retired GP ( he actually brought the subject up). He says that God created man and woman, and trans is going against the word of God. Surely then, if you believe the bible then you believe the absolute wisdom of God, and to accept that some people are born in the wrong body, is to accept God got things wrong? Why is the church going along with this when it seems to go against their beliefs? I don’t want to offend any Christians here, I just genuinely don’t see gender ideology and Christianity as compatible.

I think the Church is just willing to bend their views in order to get bums on pews.
