I really don’t get the whole ally thing anyway. Why does any grown adult in sound mind ( though TBF I’m sure that excludes a high percentage of trans) need the virtue signalling patronising crap of a few weird flags to make them feel safe? I own a business, it’s not my job to express my feelings/ likes/dislikes and opinions anyway. I’m there to do a job. That’s it. I don’t care about my patients sexual orientations-nothing to do with me. It’s not something I need to know. As for someone going into their local Co op* for a bottle of wine and packet of crisps, does anyone in the store know or care about their sexual orientation?
*Talking of which, no Pride flags in any of the Co ops I’ve been in this year. Last year they were everywhere
Exactly this.
I ranted a while back about a bus tour I took, which I since noticed had painted the fcuking 'progress' flag by the door.

You get on the bus, you sit in your seat, you're driven around Dublin while the guide chats in an entertaining way, about various sights. Your sexual preferences/ orientations or anything else about you are not in any way relevant to the tour. 🙄 Nor do you interact in any way with others aboard. Much less intimidate them by daring to believe that men cannot become women, or vice versa. 🙄

I was on an ordinary bus recently and one of the tour buses came by. I was breaking my neck to see if they still had the rotten thing painted on, but I didn't get close enough.

The amount of public or corporate money that gets wasted by painting things garish colours is really quite astounding. NHS on its knees and struggling with underfunding? Let’s waste a load of money painting a corridor with rainbows! Rail fares through the roof and trains overcrowded to unsafe levels? Let’s paint a train in ‘Pride’ livery!

Exactly, then there’s these monstrosities. It’s a crossing FFS. It’s meant be clear and functional not a virtue signalling piece of street art. Utter waste of money and Im sure I’ve read that they can confuse guide dogs too. Never mind the safety of visually impaired people though, as long as the progress colours are displayed 🤬.

Society will be up tit Creek without Women but they haven’t even thought about that stupid folk but then you can’t fix stupid, stupid is as stupid does. ✔🦕💚🤍💜
You're spot on, Miss O. We are the backbone of society as we know it which is why I'll never understand misogyny, especially the treatment of older women.

The rainbow zebra crossings confuse both guide dogs and police horses.

Of course - both dogs and horses are natural terfs. Right bigoted guys they are!

Pride update from The Big Sainsbury's: Tiny cardboard stand in the Habitat section with some tat in it. No flags. The handheld witchcraft scanner things had the flag colours on the front screen but I think that's it. Updating app icons and scanner screens that can be done cheaply by a code monkey is very different to kitting out your store with paraphernalia and spending money on sponsorship. Are we in the same times again or am I being too hopeful?

This idiot again. She really comes across as incredibly stupid. I thought studies had shown that gender reassignment surgery did little to improve mental health, and as often as not, actually worsened it. Plus how can you compare surgery to a diseased or worn body part to alleviate pain and loss of function with mutilating a healthy body.
She must have the hide of a rhino, as absolutely no one seems to agree with her.

I kind of regret having a hysterectomy but I had no choice, an ovarian cyst had pushed my bladder over so far that a radiologist couldn't find it at first.
I also have complications like adhesions and chronic pain from previous surgeries which I'm sure most of these people don't take into account when they choose to get it done.

I really hope someone in Reading gets out there tonight with several gallons of white emulsion & bleeping blitzes it.

The only things I can think of that should be in any form, on any kind of badge, on any NHS/public sector worker are:

- Name
- Occupation/Department
- Any additional languages spoken (including BSL)
- Any specialised training to help with particular disabilities or medical assistance
- Being a fire marshal or similar

That's it.

Because we're the majority, but bad men couldn't go around raping teens, pillaging and being violent to their heart's content if the matriarchy was back in charge. Too many men choose loyalty to the bad ones - probably because they'd like a shot at doing that as well, if they could get away with it.

Oooh, idea! Let's add the suffragette colours to the Progress flag (on the opposite side to the trans, which may then 'accidently' get cropped out...). Either the flag-flyers are obliged to support us, or (more likely) the flag will be dropped if it supports women.

Technically a win-win?

Somebody ought to go and put black paint all over the 'progress' bits!

Nish is urging cis people to 'consider who they might be aligning themselves with'

Funny how we need to consider who we're aligning with but people like him don't seem to have to consider who they're aligning with. I mean, Sarah Jane Baker for one is not someone I'd want to be on the same side of.

And once again it wouldn't need policing if the men would stay out of our bleeping spaces.

I love how these bleeping middle class wankers are now all about how much this is going to affect women who don't conform to femininity or are black, same with transmen. Only ever wheeled out as some kind of gotcha and someone needs to explain to that guy that the sportswomen he's referring to are all blokes. I'd never speak with such authority on any subject that I wasn't an expert in (and I'm literally an expert in nothing) but it never stops this lot does it?

Nish Kumar is a wazzock (he doesn't even deserve my swears)

I wonder if Nish Kumar has the same energy for protecting abused women from his cultural background, actual human females, not woke college kids with blue hair and AGPs 🤔

Every clip I've ever seen of that podcast its either having a guest on that they're aligned with already or pontificating.

Why not have the Darlington nurses on or someone who could actually challenge the other side of this? Oh yes, I know that would be the worst sin ever of platforming. If your argument can't stand up against mild interrogation then its not a good argument.

   this quote reminds me of when Daniel Radcliffe came out and condemned JK Rowling and said he knew nothing and she didn't either whereas in reality JK had done her homework. I know one side that has done a lot of thought and research and another side who hasn't and has just declared something expected us all to play along and then throw a fit when someone says no or they have done research realised their "argument" is illogical and said #nodebate

" Davies points to the online “trans debate” as a specific catalyst for writing this series. “I completely accept that there are two sides,” he says. “But who’s doing any research? Who’s doing any thought? Where’s the nuance in either side of the argument? I’m meeting trans people who live in terror.” He remembers a trans couple who approached him at a book signing and told him they were scared to leave their house. “That’s when I decided I had to go and do something. Specifically trans people, but actually, it’s happening to all of us [the LGBTQ+ community].” "
