They'd have a better argument if there wasn't a mixed sex pond, if it was a binary choice male or female then I could see how an argument could be made (still wouldn't be legal post FWS but could make more sense)
They're obfuscating. If they are saying that all three ponds are now mixed sex, then they should say so. Their consultation asked if the ponds should 'remain trans inclusive' but we know that they do not allow transmen into the men's pond.

It will be very interesting to see their substantive defence to the Sex Matters judicial review. If their intention is to continue allowing TiM into the women's pond but not TiF into the men's pond, that is against the law.

If all ponds are to be mixed, fine but all women must be allowed to use all three ponds. That isn't their intention though. I don't know how they think they are going to stay 'trans inclusive' in the way that they want to. Girl Guides and the WI had to concede, so will they eventually. Or go all mixed.

How will they police these transmen in the women's changing toilet facilities? Then any random man could wander in too surely? And they aren't allowed in the men's pond?!

When I say transmen, I mean women who identify as men. At present there is the mixed pond for everyone: a ladies' pond which allows transwomen (men who identify as women) into the ladies' pond and into the ladies' changing room. They do not allow women who identify as men to use the men's pond. They claim that the consultation of users want the ponds to remain 'trans inclusive' i.e. they want to keep the status quo. That is now clearly against the law but they are fighting it. If they were accepting the SC ruling then they would not be fighting Sex Matters in their judicial review.

They have a choice under the law: single-sex spaces which are by definition not trans inclusive; or make all three ponds mixed.

I feel sure at some point I will come across a man being pervy or weird or peeing in the ladies with the door open and I'd love to have a line handy that would shame them, I know we don't approve of body shaming but putting some man in a dress off from thinking he's welcome in women's spaces is worth it I think

"very complicated"
This pisses me off so much. All the times women have been denied something it hasn't been complicated has it? It's always been perfectly straightforward - they knew exactly who the women were then didn't they? But now, when it comes to telling men "no" is suddenly becomes very very complex.

Im so tired. I imagine im not alone. Im tired of seeing gross hairy men get called beautiful and brave. Im tired of asking myself how anyone can truly think the twaw nonsense and if they dont why theyre so willing to act like they do. Im tired of this crap making me not left wing anymore. Im so bleeping left but I cant align with this so im a right wing bigot. Im tired of reading 298954 new articles a day of how a man has grape/beaten/killed a woman. Im tired of reliving the violent grape that nearly killed me 17 years ago because every day there's something else. Im SO tired of being triggered all the time. Im tired of being scared for my daughter. Im tired of being scared my very blunt, autistic son will eventually get done for a 'misgendering hate crime' because he at the grand age of 8 can see through their grotesque efforts.

Im so tired. Thank you for reading. ❤
Same. To my shame I used to be woke, vote SNP and stand up for trans rights. I didn't know non white people could be racist, I didn't know that trans rights opened the door for pedros and pervs or that they impinged women's rights. I thought JKR was a cold hearted witch. I didnt know how immoral surrogacy is. I had no idea what I was sleep walking into. When my trans relative woke up and started to detransition, she was treated appallingly by the gender clinic. We both began to question things and dig deeper and now all is laid bare. I can't unsee the corruption. I was so naive. For the first time in my life I'm strongly considering voting Tory because Kemi seems to be the only politician that has constantly championed women's rights for a while now. Restore Britain and Independence Party For Scotland have also pledged to do away with trans nonsense, although I don't think Restore is a voting option up here. 5 years, I would have never entertained the idea of voting for a 'far right' party but far right just seems to be common sense/gender critical.
If I could, I would erase loons and predatory males from existence. They are primal, savage, un-evolved, uncivilised. We surely have the technology to breed them out somehow. I know that sounds like Nazi eugenics but something extreme needs to be done to stop the constant and ever worsening tide of male violence against women and children. I don't care how that sounds or what other people think.

On the subject of adoption, I have a friend who was adopted. Her birth mother (who she knew about) was very, very neglectful, drugs were a major factor and there was a revolving door of horrible men. My friend was adopted as a toddler by two loving parents (middle class, doctor and teacher). They also adopted my friends sister. They gave the girls a lovely, stable upbringing. My friend new she was adopted, they never kept any info from her. Her birth mother passed away but my friend never knew who her father was. We've been friends for over 30 years and and she has always felt an ache, that something is missing, she doesn't feel complete. She has so many questions and doesn't fully know who she is. She loves her adoptive parents, they have a great relationship and she considers them her true parents. But she is desperate to know who her bio father is. Her younger sister has very poor mental health, she is much more affected. They discovered some half siblings recently which has helped. But the not knowing, it eats away at a person.

Regarding, porn in schools - when my 16 year old started high school there was a sick trend. Other teens would find the worst porn they could and shove their phone without warning in the faces of new students. My son hated it. He is autistic so he felt very confused by it. Now, he knows those teens are arseholes being cretins for the sake of it but it's horrific. There were sexist remarks from boys at school when I was a tern but no mobile phones. Things have changed a lot since then but also not in some ways. Boys would make horrible remarks about girls developing breasts. If they had been adults, that would have been classed as sexual harassment.

Additionally, my formerly trans relative told me that when she was a 'man', people accepted her as such without question. She passed quite well because she is tall and had a naturally deep female voice and she grew a very long beard. She looked like a younger member of ZZTop. I don't think her male colleagues ever realised. She told me they were very two faced, lots of sexist talk amongst the men and in her presence but they would switch characters in the presence of women or bosses. She said it was quite the eye opener and knowing that, she would never trust a man again. They literally try to be wolves in sheep's clothing.
My husband who is one of the very few good men I know had sexist colleagues at his work, he said he was constantly telling them to stop it. He feels it's up to decent men to shut down toxic men. I agree but I'm not sure there are enough decent men to outnumber the bad ones.

Traitorous old b. Maybe he is a pedro. Why all the focus on children who cannot advocate for themselves? The brain is still developing up until the mid 20s. Young people and vulnerable people should not be anywhere near such a damaging ideology.

I agree about the wolves in sheep’s clothing point. I was sitting with a group of senior professionals and I had headphones on. As I was making no reaction to their conversation they thought I wasn’t listening and they started talking about how one woman in the office ‘had been ducked’ by a temp and he had told everyone. Most of them laughed callously and the ones I considered to be good guys just sat there. Absolutely disgusting.

One of the cruellest things about the Trans movement is that it gives false hope to vulnerable people/those who just feel that they don't "fit in" - they can then be pigeon holed into somewhere they can "belong".
Up until my mid thirties, I was desperate to be someone else. I would have given almost anything not to have my awful face looking at me in the mirror every morning, so I completely understand not feeling comfortable in yourself - but the thing is, you can never be someone else, you can only ever be you - never mind being someone of the opposite sex.
So, you can change your name, have bits of yourself hacked off (or bits added), but you will always be you.
And just like any cult or totalitarian regime, the Trans lobby requires that people ignore the evidence that's right in front of their eyes. I've lived through many political upheavals - Brexit and Independence Referendums to name just two - but having a belief in democracy and being a bit of a politics anorak, I have always listened and enjoyed talking to people with differing views. However, this is the most dangerous ideology that I have ever witnessed - a denial of not only reality, but basic decency.

Parliament knows. They 1000 percent know. They know that it's easy, but they are pretending it's difficult because this government is trying to be all things to all people. They don't want to implement the decision in FWS in Government departments because that would upset the TRAs and the #BeKind lot and they'd lose votes to the Greens under Zack Polanski (whose real name is David Paulden). But they don't want to admit that they're going to bin it or pass legislation to overrule it, which they could, because that would lose them a lot of votes amongst women and adherents to certain religions not best known for their progressive views on such matters and yet who they rely upon for support.

So, they prevaricate.

Regarding porn in school. Confession time. I'm a bloke. I was at school in the early 2000s and it was an all boys' school and for the most part, accessing online porn was considered an intellectual challenge. Most of us had PCs at home and ways to circumvent parental controls were traded on messaging platforms. It wasn't that we necessarily wanted to look at women in a state of undress so much as we wanted to tweak the noses of moral guardians. Eventually the IT teacher cottoned on and was able to plug every loophole on there... until in the sixth form, one of our number in his class crawled up his a so hard he was trusted as a sort of sub-admin on the network and then installed backdoors by which people could access forbidden things online, all under said teacher's nose.

I believe he binned off university in favour of going straight into work, and now works in cyber security and make absolutely huge quantities of cash so doing while most of the rest of us did degrees, suffered from Blair's elite overproduction, and had to pay student loans while scraping around on low wages.

Look at this vile man

How the hell can anyone look at this vile perverted man and not feel absolute disgust. There is nothing normal about his behaviour. Between mocking labour and using women to carry babies for him, he’s disgusting. I’m absolutely not a violent person, but seeing him lying there like that, all I can think is that he needs a good hard foot up the backside.
