Im so tired. I imagine im not alone. Im tired of seeing gross hairy men get called beautiful and brave. Im tired of asking myself how anyone can truly think the twaw nonsense and if they dont why theyre so willing to act like they do. Im tired of this crap making me not left wing anymore. Im so fucking left but I cant align with this so im a right wing bigot. Im tired of reading 298954 new articles a day of how a man has raped/beaten/killed a woman. Im tired of reliving the violent rape that nearly killed me 17 years ago because every day there's something else. Im SO tired of being triggered all the time. Im tired of being scared for my daughter. Im tired of being scared my very blunt, autistic son will eventually get done for a 'misgendering hate crime' because he at the grand age of 8 can see through their grotesque efforts.

Im so tired. Thank you for reading. ❤

I've been lurking on these threads for a while but just un-lurking from a few pages back having seen the video of the lawyer having a meltdown to say how absolutely ridiculous that she claims to be a man but as soon as she feels vulnerable she starts yelling (shrieking) for a female officer.

Also, thank you all for the insight and the open discussion. For the longest time I tried to be a "trans ally" (for reasons I cant explain), then at work we did an lgbtq course and the lgb was mostly missing.

It was all about trans and I was made to feel absolutely shit for asking any questions (perfectly reasonable ones) and made to feel like I was some kind of threat. Even though I was trying to be supportive, I either wasnt supportive enough or the right kind of supportive, who knows. But the more I listened the more I realised that I had just been almost brain washed into a way of thinking that actually didnt align with my own values and beliefs and I felt like a fool. Not only that but I couldn't really speak up about the way I feel and to some degree I still don't fully feel I can which makes me feel like a coward.

So thank you for this little space where I can come and feel like Im not going mad, that there are so many of us and slowly giving me the confidence to speak at least here

Has started a crowdfunder...
"I am Steph Richards, an award-winning feminist and dedicated Labour member. Despite my record of service, the Party is banning me from the 2026 Women's Conference because I am transgender."
"My legal case is the first to challenge the SCJ (FWS v SGM) - help stop the rollback of trans rights. £17,220 needs to be pledged, and there are 17 days left to do it - thanks to the 201 people who have helped so far"

Allow me to correct you old chap, the Labour Party has not banned you from the 2026 Labour Women's conference because you are transgender: they have banned you because you're a man.

Hope that helps.

I’m so sick of various disability charities doing shit like this. Scope offering support to anyone affected by a choir at the London marathon where someone may hold a different view to you? It’s utterly absurd, disproportionate nonsense and completely outside their remit. Are they an LGBTQ+ charity now? Are they going to spend their own charity funds supporting non disabled TQ+ people?

Meanwhile, what message does this send to their disabled users who are gender critical? Where is the support for their female beneficiaries who don’t want men doing their intimate care? I suppose they think that’s a highly polarising view.

Oh bloody hell, I need to vent. Just caught up with an old friend who I haven’t spoken to for years. We started talking about politics and I basically told her my main concern politically was standing up for women’s sex based rights and how the press, institutions etc were all captured by gender ideology.

She started talking about one of her friends who took the difficult and brave decision to transition (MtF of course). How it had hit him suddenly when he was required to dress up in a costume for a role and realised he felt much more comfortable in a dress and had never realised before that all his internal angst must have been caused by being a repressed ‘transsexual’. I was trying to be diplomatic, but ended up by telling her to look up autogynephilia.

She’s like, “he’s really not like that, he has a high powered job and he’s wife’s stuck by him. He didn’t take the decision likely’ (she used ‘she/her to talk about him). Turns out he’s had the surgery, so I conceded that yes, he probably did have a genuine mental illness, but he would never know what it was like to ‘feel like a woman’. She then said she does feel that although there are a lot of bandwagon-jumpers, some people are ‘genuinely born in the wrong body.’ I said, that’s impossible but there are some people who are genuinely dysphoric just as there are some people who genuinely believe they have to amputate a healthy limb.

We didn’t fall out over it, but once again I found myself questioning how an intelligent person can fall for this bullshit.

Please explain Alan , Im not sure how trans people are not treated equally ?
They are treated equally, they can earn the same as women, they can presumably earn the same as men as well, they can wear what ever they like, they have the right to vote, they can choose to live whereever they want, they can have relationships with whoever they want. ( Ill add in here that this right to choose relationships isnt and shouldnt be one sided, the person they have the relationship with, should be told their biological status, and as with everyone, have the right to refuse the relationship)

but they cannot change the fact that they are not biological women. And this makes them different to biological women.

And in actual fact Alan, havent you noticed that all women are not treated equally? What world do you live in?
Women are expected to conform to strict weight, fashion , appearance rules. Older women tend to be ignored, unattractive women tend to be ignored, some women earn more than other women, and some even earn more than men! Women judge other women and dont treat them the same. Men judge other women and dont treat them the same.

Its a minefield out there. You cannot say feminism is dead because trans people arent treated equally. Very few people in this world at the moment seem to be treated equally.

This has infuriated me. What rights haven’t trans people got? They are being excluded from places where they had zero right to be in the first place.
Gender critical activists have been emboldened to drag inclusive organisations through the courts? You mean abide by the law?
As for legislating that single sex spaces must be trans inclusive by default? Well, they’re not single sex spaces then are they you fucking idiot.
Why should women have to sacrifice their safety, their dignity and their feelings to accommodate men who are either mentally unwell or are raging perverts.
If there’s one thing I cannot stand it’s these stupid handmaidens who are happy to through women and women’s rights under a bus to appease nasty misogynistic men.
The comments at least are refreshing.

Same. To my shame I used to be woke, vote SNP and stand up for trans rights. I didn't know non white people could be racist, I didn't know that trans rights opened the door for pedros and pervs or that they impinged women's rights. I thought JKR was a cold hearted bitch. I didnt know how immoral surrogacy is. I had no idea what I was sleep walking into. When my trans relative woke up and started to detransition, she was treated appallingly by the gender clinic. We both began to question things and dig deeper and now all is laid bare. I can't unsee the corruption. I was so naive. For the first time in my life I'm strongly considering voting Tory because Kemi seems to be the only politician that has constantly championed women's rights for a while now. Restore Britain and Independence Party For Scotland have also pledged to do away with trans nonsense, although I don't think Restore is a voting option up here. 5 years, I would have never entertained the idea of voting for a 'far right' party but far right just seems to be common sense/gender critical.
If I could, I would erase troons and predatory males from existence. They are primal, savage, un-evolved, uncivilised. We surely have the technology to breed them out somehow. I know that sounds like Nazi eugenics but something extreme needs to be done to stop the constant and ever worsening tide of male violence against women and children. I don't care how that sounds or what other people think.
One of the cruellest things about the Trans movement is that it gives false hope to vulnerable people/those who just feel that they don't "fit in" - they can then be pigeon holed into somewhere they can "belong".
Up until my mid thirties, I was desperate to be someone else. I would have given almost anything not to have my awful face looking at me in the mirror every morning, so I completely understand not feeling comfortable in yourself - but the thing is, you can never be someone else, you can only ever be you - never mind being someone of the opposite sex.
So, you can change your name, have bits of yourself hacked off (or bits added), but you will always be you.
And just like any cult or totalitarian regime, the Trans lobby requires that people ignore the evidence that's right in front of their eyes. I've lived through many political upheavals - Brexit and Independence Referendums to name just two - but having a belief in democracy and being a bit of a politics anorak, I have always listened and enjoyed talking to people with differing views. However, this is the most dangerous ideology that I have ever witnessed - a denial of not only reality, but basic decency.

Ah yes because missing and murdered indigenous women and girls need to be associated with men in dresses before anyone gives them any attention.

This is just men and their fetished ideology using an actual mariginalised group (not a made up one) as a shield to protect themselves. No MMIWG without the T, right?
This is what doesn’t sit right with me. It’s long been mooted that the T hitched itself to the LGB in an effort towards legitimacy, then subsequently hijacked and cannibalised the representations of decades of anti-homophobia work (the flag, Pride), whilst simultaneously eroding same-sex boundaries (‘gender racists’, was that the term used for those who were strictly same-sex attracted?).

But that wasn’t quite enough, apparently. So now they need to be allied to murdered and missing women, all the better to highlight their self-proclaimed mantle of ‘the most victimised demographic in the world’.

Fuck that. 🤬

At least his hat reflects the truth even though his mouth is spouting a load of bullshit. Women are not mentioned once in his little spiel on feminism and the female interviewing him sits there passively

Women have ruined feminism for you, Alan? Well it’s a good job it isn’t FOR you, fuckface 😂

He shows such a fundamental misunderstanding of what feminism is. “It’s about equality” 🙄. So tired of this weak, surface level reading of what feminism is.

I've become a bit emboldened again on tiktok since the hp trailer has a lot of handmaidens (and, refreshingly, a lot of reasonable women too) coming back out the woodwork.

This near killed me off though 🤣 my profile picture is Alan Carr in his traitors robe 😆 she didn't respond

Just saw this on Instagram… how the heck does anyone think this will work? What happens if and when intended parents change their mind? If the intended parents are 2 dads then are we changing the legal birth registration to not include mother? Just erasing the work of the woman who grew and birthed that baby for you? I don’t know how I feel about all this.
I think it's an appalling prospect.

Not only are you erasing the woman who carried the baby for 9 months (and who may also have provided the egg), treating her like a carrier bag, you are writing her out of the child's life forever - so even if, in 20, 30, 40 years time s/he tries to find the person who gave birth to her,/him there will be no records. Anyone who works with adopted people, or people brought up in care will confirm that the need to know where they have come from is often overwhelming and all-consuming.

And frankly, I think there should be even more diligence about babies born to surrogates, especially if they are being handed over to two (or more) men. This is because the parents - male, female, hetero, gay, bi - have not had the opportunity to develop a relationship with the baby during gestation. I think this will be a greater risk if sperm and egg are donated. No matter how much they want this baby in their family (and we'll assume it's for good reasons), a baby can be very hard work. A baby which has been snatched out of the womb and away from the arms of its mother is HIGHLY likely to be difficult to settle and perhaps feed.

We need to make sure that those babies are protected and the parents are supported if necessary. The baby must always come first. ALWAYS.
