Normal boring women are loathed and despised. We really are. Look at that utter rit Grace Campbell and her ghastly friend.
Constantly advised how to change our appearance to look younger and thinner and just generally 'better'. The appalling beauty industry aimed at us as though it's our fault for aging. Men pretending to be women and doing it better than us. They think we've been gifted womanhood and have wasted it by being dowdy instead of being constantly coquettish or sexy.
Germaine Greer said all this years ago.
Isn’t it awful that being old or weird are used as insults to women. It’s so misogynistic. Older men are praised (silver fox- an expression that gives me the ick), but older women are seen as hags, dried up, wrinkly etc. Everyone ages - if they’re lucky. It’s natural
As for looks, no one can help their natural appearance. Being good looking is subjective anyway, not everyone has the same tastes. It’s men that get dressed up in grotesque parodies of women and get fawned over that get me. They always look aesthetically challenged.
The beauty industry can get in the bin along with the fashion industry.

I will be on Sky News Australia’s show “Opinionated” with Danica De Giorgio tonight some time after 8pm talking about how men are not women.
I can’t post the clip on here because men who claim to be women mass reported me for not accepting that men who claim to be women are women and so I’m banned from posting videos for a month. But it’s a pre-recorded piece, I’ll post the text of the monologue later.

Are there any updates on this?

What is the attitude to trans rights like in Oz? Part of me feels sad at hounding Beth, who has obviously moved abroad to get a clean start/better life, except it was his attitude to all of this that caused the Sandie Peggie case. And has cost the NHS millions in court cases!

I have a feeling that a few years ago, trans rights were more popular amongst the general population, because it didnt really affect or influence that many people? Its only when it really gets in enough peoples faces that the common sense attitude of women like JKR Rowling actually resonate.

Are there a lot of trans folx in Oz? might there be issues in changing rooms when Australians realise that obvious men are changing amongst them? Or is an issue that is unlikely to apply?

As Ive got older its really hit me how long it takes for the general population to realise something and react. the majority of people do not have a clue until something actually affects them directly

From something relatively innocuous, like shopping habits to quite serious issues like water regulation. Or the sheer chaos of adult and social care, especially for the elderly. I have a feeling that Gender issues are exactly the same.

And issues around people like the Green party and their attitude towards women and gender.
The Green party are dangerous, because our political sphere is such a mess, that a lot of their policies do sound good. And very few people are aware or care about how disastrous the Green party attitude is towards women, feminism and womens rights.

It really depends on where you live, it's common to see trans people in the inner suburbs and there seems to be lot of younger gay folk there too.
I live in the outer East and see the same guys in frocks at the big shopping centre or on the bus.
I don't know what the changing room situation is like, last time I was at KMart they were clearly marked Men and Women.
I'm in a few Aussie GC/Terf groups on Facebook and there are a lot of women who share my views, no men in women's sports, no men in women's prisons etc.

Most places like doctors offices, hospital and food bank/homeless charities display a poster declaring that LGBTQ are welcome and we should all be tolerant, blah blah. Some gender neutral toilets but I think mostly in the city.

I'm not sure what I'd do if I saw a loon in the Ladies, I'd probably complain to management if anything.

BIB

'Beth' needs to be on a watchlist wherever he is in the world. He openly stated that he would not honour a woman's wish to be treated by a female doctor and he reported a dementia sufferer for misgendering him.

Oh look, thread stalwart, the nappy-bin-p "lady", has been been jailed.

Kind of enjoying the juxtaposition of that photo of "Abbie", followed by the essential explanation that "Taylor [...] identifies as a woman but previously committed offences under the name Martin Tarling." Glad they cleared that up, it was kind of hard to tell :D

He needs to be in a psychiatric facility, preferably until he dies.

“A previous court hearing was told Taylor was a "diaper fetishist" whose Facebook profile described the defendant as an "adult baby diaper lover".

But in mitigation, Nick Lane said a psychiatrist had concluded Taylor 's actions were not sexually motivated, which was accepted by the judge, Recorder Anthony Hawks.”

Not sexually motivated? Why the duck is he doing it then?

Personally Im not too worried by seeing anyone playing dress up out and about. Although the person in a vibrant untidy dress and disreputable scraggy beard in the Post office queue did have me raise a mental eyebrow!

What got me was the trans woman in the communal ladies changing room at the gym/swimming pool. And the confused ladies not quite sure what to say! This was before covid, so years ago, at the time, i was bewildered, now Id go straight to management to complain!

Im very worried also about the reported number of trans children in British schools. I cant quite see how children / adolescents on any level, in the middle of questioning their places in the world and their identity as an individual, can be expected to 'know' exactly what gender they want to be? Especially when gender is such an open ended term. A girl shouldnt have to feel as if she has to transition if she isnt traditionally girly and doesnt like make up or boys. Wheres the support and discussion to help them?

you then get these trans men, who were once girls, who are often extremely short, and who dont look or sound remotely male, or remotely masculine, see Ellen Page. so what's the point? Or trans women, who were once men, who rarely look or sound or behave remotely female. To me this makes no sense.

And the mis use of language. What in heavens name is or was a lady fool? ( this idea seems to be much less prevalent than a few years ago, so hopefully this phrase is on the wane? ) And in reports, of someone who murdered his mother, you get a report about how 'they' murdered their mother, and I had to read the report 3 or 4 times to work out, who else was involved in the murder as well as the son, because to me 'they' is a plural. Only to realise that it was just one person, the son.
Or the idea of chest feeding? or birthing parent! What is so wrong with a word like mother? which actually is pretty similar as a word and concept world wide?

Honestly, I think the most common male insults to women are usually pure projection. Which gender starts going bald at 20? Look at any photos of people you went to school with on Facebook, the women generally look pretty much the same til like, 45; the men look like they were in Vietnam.
Who's the worst drivers? Statistically, the gender that die in more car accidents.
