Also, fear of being labelled racist is more important than the lives of innocent humans and especially more important than innocent females.

Sometimes, it's hard not to think, that this tit (which goes all the way back to Blair) has been engineered. The government is deliberately importing psycho loose cannon violent men, knowing that there will be horrific tragedies. Or, so it seems.

My mum, sister, brother, nephew and niece are like this. It absolutely baffles me that otherwise intelligent people can be so blinkered on this subject, their only response is to turn it into a political issue.
My OH used to be tolerant/lenient to it. He expressed sympathy for Castor thingy (the runner) and the boxer (genuinely forgotten his name).
He'd say how awful for people to be born intersex with the genitals of male and female (as he thought was the case) and that there should be more tolerance.
I've consistently and low key brought all the trans issues to his attention and how it made me feel as a woman. The other day out of nowhere he said how repugnant it was a man getting into a boxing ring and punching a woman in the face.
I bit my tongue to not remind him of his previous views but thought yes you get it.

Announcement st 12.30pm today on the guidance. Phillipson's ears must have been burning from all the criticism. She better not have a reason to not publish it.....

I’m not holding my breath, that’s for sure

A source with knowledge of the process said much of the discussion had been over the “tone” of the document, with a feeling it had been approached with the aim of excluding transgender people rather than finding inclusive ways of operating while also upholding the law.

The Times understands that the changes that have been made to the resubmitted code are minimal.

So after the articles in the Telegraph and Times over the weekend, Phillipson has been shamed into talking to FWS. I wonder what platitudes and excuses she'll spount as she tries to assure them thst she cares about women's rights and is 'working at pace' to review 12 pages of guidance.🙄
She must be a slow reader.

Team Scotland has revealed its Ceremony Outfits for the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games.
There is so much wrong with this image (playing into outdated stereotypes, the woman has a mini skirt instead of a kilt which means she is sexualised unlike the man, they do not appear to be ethnically Scottish - the SNP and other groups like Historic Scotland are pushing "new Scots" very hard, which is alienating ethnic Scots) but the main one that comments are concerned about is the she could be a he. If that is true, than our delightful Scotgov are once again under-representing real women again, as per usual.

Nah, I don't reckon that's a bloke she just has a strong jaw line.
I hate that we're always looking for this. How much of our energy is expended on this nonsense? When we can't trust what we see and hear.
I could be wrong though. Pisses me off that she's in a short kilt though. Is it not a sporting contest? Rather than an invitation to look at women's legs?

Are you saying people of mixed race cannot be ethnically Scottish? That's a pretty dodgy assertion.

In no way on earth do those legs belong to a man, that is 100% a woman IMVHO.

I don't really see the fuss tbh, it's a perfectly fine image, yes, a bit regressive with the high heels but compared to some of the loony loon images presented, this is small fry.

Not at all, there are lots of mixed race Scots but as Scotland's population is 96% white, it would be nice to see that represented on the world stage. The Commonwealth Games are being held in Glasgow. The demographic of Glasgow contains 19% non white ethnic minority, the largest in Scotland and that should definitely be represented but the other 81% are white. It would be better if the couple represented that. I didn't think the woman wasn't a woman but like Mismatched Pegs said, I hate that we think that way now. If you live in Scotland, there is a constant onslaught of propaganda from the NHS, Social Security, Scotgov and other organisations that are using only black people in adverts. People are questioning it, it feels like an agenda. Scotgov are very woke and bend over backwards to appease the most ridiculous situations and people. If they weren't like that Isla Bryce would never have been allowed to do what he did. Recent policies have meant that youth disorder has increased and the issue of grooming gangs have been swept under the carpet. The police are protecting pedophiles instead of communities. Its close to boiling point here. Vital services have been reduced, poverty is high and then people see immigrants getting money, benefits, translators etc all funded. Add in the migrant Hotels (grape and SA has risen exponentially in Glasgow and Falkirk as a direct result) and you might understand why previously placid, reasonable people are getting angry. Its not racist to question all of this.

I’m guessing they are models rather than Scottish athletes? Minikilt with heels is definitely a bit 90s lads mag. Out of touch really.

Should have had the lasses in some bonny trews and the lads in kilts. V modern…
