enjoy Charlotte's fascinating tales over breakfast.

I wouldn't want to listen to him preening and ranting about his "trans journey" and "lived experience" either. Not even if he was paying ME to stay there. What a twat!
yep if I'm paying to stay somewhere I don't want to have to endure the "hosts" company!!

I dunno man. I'm always inclined to give Glinner a pass (although I don't think I'd want to spend time with him IRL) because if I'd lost as much as he has I'd be bitter af too.

On JKR - it's so fascinating to me how angry she makes men, how entitled they seem to feel to talk down or mansplain to her, how little they can hide their sheer rage.

I honestly believe what it boils down to is jealousy that a little woman can have more creativity and success in her little finger than the many, man men in the arts and creative industries.
It’s all the money, the oodles and oodles of money from her ‘little kids books’

I’m actually sickened at how this is trying to creep in the back door (excuse the term). How can anyone with common sense and decency think this is ok? And to try and get it passed as a bill to make it legal is sickening!! LGB and fuck the T and whatever else comes after it.
Expect people to take to the streets en-mass if anyone tried to get a similar bill through here!

The 'be kind' of some is getting a bit creepy and weird now, if they think Pedophiles are a group worthy of 'be kind' and anti discrimination laws.

I saw this on Instagram and thought it was interesting. The comments are mostly in favour of what Oliver said and some of those are from women. They state feminism has gone too far and women are unhappier than ever.
I believe women should always be considered equal, have a choice in whether she wants to work or raise children (and be supported in raising children) and women should have sex based rights, given that our bodies are more complex.

I've been a working mother and a stay at home mother so I can see both sides. I would 100% rather be with my children but I did enjoy my job and was good at it. I work hard in the home but mentally, I'm capable of more. I don't want to be reduced to a domestic serf. I'm a carer now for my child and that is a role that is often overlooked. When Oliver Reed was in his heyday, most disabled children were institutionalised but nowadays, most of them stay with their parents. This means becoming multi skilled. I also think the constant refrain of "women belong in the kitchen" is not only sexist but also classist. For centuries, married working class women had to work and bring up children. This debate frequently excludes widows, single women and lesbians too. Just let women decide for themselves what they want.

One more thing, I do think the state sold the idea of "women can have it all" just so they could get more tax payers. But they they destabilised the village of support and communities in doing so.
Of course they did, think of all the domestic jobs created by encouraging both Parents to work.
As I've aged, I've started to realise the damage we have done by encouraging both Parents into full time work.
Women* used to do lots of voluntary stuff, particularly running clubs for the kids, now they're out to work the clubs are run as money making enterprises which then excludes poorer kids.
*historically Women and pensioners.
So many unintended consequences.
Note I'm not advocating for just Women to stay at home.

They say it isn’t a mental illness. Yet again and again, TIM post these unhinged rants. They say we are the evil ones. Yet, they are the ones who make threats, and are consumed by hate and rage. They also demonstrate that they behave like MEN with their anger and aggression. Why on earth would we welcome people like him into women’s spaces? if they were truly born into the wrong body (impossible) or were “real women” as they claim, why do they behave like entitled angry threatening men?
Well . . . he seems nice . . . 🤢

I see legal gengar has been awarded £20k in costs to be paid by Hayden within 28 days. LOL.

And not only is ‘Mercedes‘ being a bit untruthful about his sex, I don’t think he’s been entirely honest about his age either. 34? Pull the other one. ETA just seen it’s AI 🙄

So it’s not ringing any bells or raising any alarms for GATE-adjacent handmaidens that Dolatowski, a pdfile convicted (but not jailed 😡) for two assaults against young girls has aligned himself with this movement. What does it take to wake these people the fuck up?
They had Sarah Jane Baker at their London protest, and publicly thanked Melissa Poulton for being at the Birmingham one.
They are a walking red flag.

I think he is a criminal. He went out of his way to use a communal nurses changing room. He’s a fucking pervert.
Oh - I agree that he's a pervert and an opportunist, but legally he hasn't been convicted of a criminal offence, and some trans apologist somewhere would sooner or later would accuse me of lumping him in with a convicted criminal.

I agree, sex change isn't accurate either but I think it's closer to describing the graphic butchering that these surgeries are. Sex change used to refer to people who had had the surgeries. Trans is more vague and anyone can be trans without surgeries and this also gives a false sense of security. I'm not sure what the perfect word would be though.

I saw this on twitter. The internalised misogyny of some women sickens me. Why are they completely ignoring the victim in all this? Its as though they believe no immigrant can do any wrong. That's such a dangerous belief.

I did just have a quick look at that, it seems the Patriot people had already organised a protest outside the court and the women against racism were counter-protesting. So not respectful to the victim from both camps, imo
